However, we were not excited about the carpet in the hallways and rooms, and worst of all was the uncomfortable old spring mattress that was painful to sleep on. The staff did place an extra comforter on top but still did not help much. Please update the mattresses!!

It is our personally held opinion that this hotel was unsatisfactory to us and below the quality we had personally expected.
When we arrived there was no toilet paper in our room, and this was an ongoing issue the entire length of our stay.
On multiple occasions we had to ask reception for toilet paper to be sent up, particular because cleaning staff would actively take it away with no replacement during the day. They would also remove any of our additional bottled water we would leave in our room that belonged to us outside of the daily bottle provided by the hotel, which is very important to have available.
It became comical when we were having to hide our additional water bottles and toilet paper in the room from the cleaning staff just to ensure it was still there when we returned from a long day out touring.
Making this more acute was that the Do Not Disturb sign was repeatedly ignored.
We also found (in our personal opinion) the general cleanliness of our room was poor with the towels and bed sheets not smelling or feeling clean to us and one evening we encountered cleaning staff next to our room sitting on the ground in a storage corridor folding towels sitting directly on the corridor floor, which added to our personally held opinion / impression about the cleanliness of our room.

The room carpets are all stained and look gross, shower sprays water out everywhere on the floor. Other than that room wasn’t too bad I guess. Staff were quite lovely but didn’t know too much English but that’s expected. The pool area wasn’t too exciting and neither was the gym, all in all wouldn’t stay again. The hotel is kind of out of the way of everything too, so if you’re looking to be closer to places to eat, drink then definitely wouldn’t pick this hotel.

Some receptionists were not very friendly and did not provide detailed explanations unless specifically asked. I booked a room for three people, but only two sets of bath towels and toothbrushes were provided. The pool was too cold, as it lacked warm water. Additionally, the shampoo, conditioner, and bath gel were not refilled prior to check-in. On a positive note, the breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of dishes to choose from.

Muong Thanh would not let me cancel my booking and wouldn't even let me change the date, weeks before my stay. When I did stay, something as simple as eating in the lobby where there was plenty of tables of chairs, was only possible if I were to pay. They would only allow us to eat outside if we bought from their restaurant

I would give a better rating if the design of the bathroom would provide a place for soaps and stuff, instead we had to put them on the floor. The shelf for the towels was small and located at a very inconvenient spot of the bathroom where it should be near or within reach of the shower door. It blocks the mirror when you had hanging towels.
The carpet was old and dirty as we can clearly see a stained spot on it.

I noticed there were yellow spots (possibly stain from urine) appeared on several parts of the bed sheet which I wouldn't dare to find out what exactly it was. So when the room service went through the room on the first few nights I noticed the stain spots were still there. After several nights staying in the same room, I was happened to be in the room when the service folks came in to straighten up the beds so I know they don't change them. I had to specifically requested them to change the bed sheets then yes they changed them afterward. For this reason, I'm sorry that I can't give them any better than 2 stars rating for the facility and cleanliness of the hotel.

I had previously stayed the night at this hotel for one night just a quick airport stop then coming back 2 weeks later for 2 nights stay. I requested a shower only without tub room17 days in advance, they accommodated by providing the worst room possible. If you’ve been to Vietnam, most hotels have the shower tub design its the most dangerous and accident waiting to happen climbing in. My sister checked in the same day as I and requested the shower only without tub, they provided her with much better room. Meaning the shower stall was adequate, mine had the shower curtain inches away from the toilet. Barely any separation you have a step around the toilet to get out see room#1520. Thanks staff for selecting which guest gets the better room.
