Excellent service! Staff were so nice and friendly. Resort is very clean and well maintained. The only downside is beach wasn’t that clean when we were there, there were garbage floating in the water. But otherwise it’s still highly recommended for family especially with kids.

Staff were very attentive and responsive. Breakfast was a la carte for 3 days. The breakfast buffet, when available, was terrific. The restaurant menu for dinner and lunch was ok.

The resort was not busy during our stay, weekday, but gets busier on weekends. We enjoyed the quietness of the weekday. The grounds are spectacularly taken care of. Lots of gardens, flowers and flowing water. Enjoyed the swimming pool by the water over looking the ocean.

Pickleball courts are well maintained.

Lovely staff lovely gardens lovely pools food good. Woukd go again definitely.

Only minuses why charge for tennis and pickleball courts by the hour? Seems a bit mean.

We had a lovely 5 day stay at Carmelina with our 2.5yo. The staff were all absolutely lovely, and our room was very comfortable. There were many considerate factors for families, such as rounded bed edges. There was a lot of consideration put into the resort design, from the many lovely fish ponds, gorgeous greenery to the many different cute figurines of different animals. We really liked some of the self-sustaining features of Carmelina, such as their home grown fruits (all delicious). Some of the pools and equipment showed wear and tear, and ideally would be updated soon. We did not venture out from the resort, and the town center was a bit over 1km away, which was too much for our toddler to handle.

We are traveling extensively throughout Vietnam, we found this place and could not be more impressed with the staff and the facilities. We took advantage of the facilities, including Pickleball pools, restaurants, and walking the beautiful gardens. Most impressive part of our stay was by far the attention to detail by the staff. We really enjoyed, our time with Daisy in services On the Pickleball annd dining and David the sales and marketing manager were both very helpful. Would highly recommend families and couples. We expect to return in the future from the United States and look forward to it.

Beautiful place, excellent service and amenities!
The staff was fantastic. They were very cheerful and helpful at all times. The food was very good and the pools, beach and tennis courts were all well maintained, very clean and perfect for our needs. A fantastic stay and would definitely return!

Resort is old, im dissapointed in kidsclub, its old not well maintained. Food is okay. Beach isnt clean as I thought. First room conditioning broke but tge hotel rep took long time to fix my prob, it took almost a day to get my room changed. The workers all very nice. I would not come back as my kid didnt like this place.

Great Staff, food, rooms. Beach needs some work.

The food and the staff were excellent and so much for the kids to do. They have afternoon tea which we joined everyday, their passion fruit juice was amazing as it is fresh squeezed from their own passion fruit trees. Hotel rooms and grounds overall were clean and well maintained, however the beach left a little to be desired. The small portion of beach directly connected to the hotel was mostly clean but on the beach on both sides the property needs to be cleaned up. Again, great staff and food, clean rooms and grounds, lots for the kids to do, afternoon tea is great but if the beach could be better maintained this would be a a regular place for us to stay.

My honest review

The hotel is nice and clean. This is a place for kids and my grandkids loved it. Staff are all nice, food is good. The only problem was so many flies in the restaurant and we can’t eat well coz the flies will dive-in to our food! They said that was because of the rain😩. Suggest to install screen doors.
They said that they have another restaurant but as they took us there, it was the same place only different room. And the menu-the same.

The hotel is perfect for younger kids and adults who want to relax as the kids play. The hotel itself is fine but the difference maker was the staff. All around everyone was super friendly and made all the difference with the kids.

A beautiful tropical paradise. Lovely staff, lovely food. Room 312 was comfortable with nice view over the garden. Facilities for kids are plenty which is great for family getaway, but some corners need maintenance. Overall we had a relaxing stay.

In general ok but a laflet let in the room with a map of all entertainment place with opening hours will be more than appreciate. (Need to look at the map on the road).
Breakfast ok with lot of dish.
Good for family with small kids (4-5 years ols) as there are several swimming pool with games. It is not a place for\"romantic\" as surounded with kids !!!

Suitable for families with small children

Very good facilities for children, just too bad that there is not much shade around the children areas so 11-15h is not really the time to be outside. Large property with beautiful gardens. Clean and well maintained rooms, just the smell of humidity makes the rate 4 instead of 5. Friendly staff. The only thing that is not so pleasant is the canteen alike restaurant, plus not all the food was tasty.

We enjoyed our stay at Carmelina Beach resort very much. The staff were very friendly, helpful and humble.
although we had a language barrier, they tried their best to make a conversation with us, and help us where ever they can.
The resort and rooms were very clean and neat.
The restaurant staff made an effort on valentines day - they dressed a table for us with flowers and wine.
and after dinner they spoiled us with dessert.
This resort and their staff, made our stay very easy and comfortable.
would definitely recommend it to anyone who needs a break away from all the hustle and bustle of the city.

- I would say foods are much better than other resorts which I already stayed such as Vinpearl Phu Quoc.
- Beach is OK

- Room is acceptable

Beautiful hotel

One of the most beautiful hotels I've ever stayed at, right on the beach with fantastic facilities - even \"paint balling\" !!!
However, when we went in April, there was no-one there!!!!!!! We had the pool and restaurant to ourselves. It wasn't a problem, just weird. Also, there's nothing to do in the area except stay in the hotel, go on the beach or swim in the pool. You can walk to a small fishing area in the next \"village\" which is interesting, but that's all. The biggest problem is getting there from Ho Chi Minh. It costs a fair bit by taxi and I suggest you don't use the hotel car as that's expensive. What we did, which was fun, was to go by hydrofoil along the river to Vung Tao - you can buy tickets at the Majestic Hotel (and other places). Then get a taxi from Vung Tao.

Wonderful retreat!

Wonderful resort, think it might be more for locals. We were there in the middle of week and literally there was no one there. They are lacking in restuarant choices. One restuarant wasn't open due to not being a weekend, that was disappointing but other wise it's a beautiful place to stay!

A great hotel to unwind

This resort was a fabulous place to stay for a few days.
The rooms are modern and clean. The staff are very friendly and super attentive.
The two resort pools and surrounding gardens and trees are very pleasent.
The breakfast buffet has a wide choice and the food is good.
The beach is one of the cleanest i have seen in vietnam.
This resort is not close to the major town but within 1km there are many local village eateries which mostly specialize in fresh seafood. These are very basic places to eat in but the food is excellent quality and the price is the cheapest i have ever seen in vietnam.

Amazing & Beautiful Resort

Hi,

I stayed there for 1 night and they allowed me for early check-in & Late check-out. That was a fabulous deal stricker. Apart from that the resort was wonderful and so lush green. Amazing swimming pools and restaurant with really good food. Also, i got upgrade for my room to bungalow pool facing. The room was really nice and clean. we really enjoyed staying in carmelina resort. that would be our memorable stay ever. We would definitely visit there again.

Nice resort on the beach

Our family was pleasantly surprised, we were expecting a nice hotel, but this was beyond our expectations. The resort staff were extremely attentive and the resort was highly maintained. There is an outdoor and indoor play area for kids that was great, and the pool was great too.
The waves coming in off the South China Sea were rough so we did not spend time on the beach, but the view was nice. Also, there is only one restaurant on the resort, so if you are looking for variety, you will have to visit another hotel nearby. Overall, a great place to relax with family.

Disappointed!

The staff their were very friendly, polite & hard working.
However, I don't like some of the following:
- the water system in the toilet worked very slowly.
- the gym room I thought it was free for guests but the staff mentioned they will charge 100,000 vnd for air-con fee!
- swimmer must wear swim suit when using the swimming pool!! So we cannot use it because we did not bring the swim suits. Other better resort still allowed swimmer to wear comfortable clothes like: shorts, T-shirt...
I am sure that my family won't come back there again!

Excellent facilities, staff, location, but ...

Stayed as a family of four while vacationing. The resort is in two hours of driving from Saigon, on a beautifully landscaped beach property.

I think the general idea is great. This is a very good location for a seashore resort. Facilities look brand new, and staff is very (sometime exceedingly:) attentive and friendly.

Yet, I got an impression that the business people who run the resort don't fully understand who their competition is, and thus don't yet compete successfully. The resort is build for 200+ people. We barely saw 20 during our stay, and that's during the high season for Western tourists in Southern Vietnam.

First, while resort was virtually empty, no room fitting four members of our family was available. I had to reserve two rooms, which cost almost twice as much as I would spend to host my family on the beach in Hawaii or Bahamas. That's not because the rooms are small - they are plenty spacious - that's because of the resort policy.

Second, the food was overpriced for Vietnam by a factor of about 2. Lunch price was comparable to one in Hawaii or Bahamas. Yet the transportation to Hawaii or Bahamas for us costs about one-third of the cost it took to get to the Carmelina resort.

I suggest the resort management to look at the whole value proposition for Western tourists. Face it, Carmelina is located far from the cold places where people with money live. Drop room rates and food prices: this will compensate for transportation, and you'll see plenty of visitors

Nice for get away

The hotel did not prepare interconnecting rooms though we requested it more than 2 months ahead, with small kids around, at least they should put us adjacent room. The hotel was full as it was TET holidays so we stayed at different levels. But Beach and pools were nice, staff friendly and helpful. Surroundings within hotel was nice, relaxing and beautiful. But breakfast was like a war, too many people, not enough tables and crockery. The whole restaurant was extremely noisy as it was designed like a dome, so sound just travel within the place.

Magnifique hôtel, grandiose. Des jardins luxuriants et très bien entretenus, cascades, bassins de poissons… Un potager immense avec des serres qu’une employée nous a fait visiter très gentiment.
Le personnel est très serviable et fait tout pour nous satisfaire.
Les chambres sont spacieuses et bien agencées.
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour

Gia đình mình đã có trải nghiệm rất tốt khi lưu trú tại đây. Không gian xanh sạch, yên tĩnh. Ở đây, có nhiều hoạt động vui chơi cho bé, mấy bé nhà mình xuống đây không biết chán là gì luôn. Đồ ăn cũng rất ngon, nhất là hải sản tươi và giá cả phải chăng. Hy vọng lần đến sẽ sắp xếp được thời gian dài hơn cho gia đình nghỉ dưỡng dài ngày hơn.

My whole family had a true vacation here. To say it is a children's paradise is probably not an exaggeration. My baby loves it because there are many places to play, especially saltwater and freshwater lakes. The food is also quite delicious and plentiful. Clean and modern rooms, including k channels for children. Point 10 is the friendliness and cuteness of the staff from the reception to the cleaners. Will come back here in the future!

We spent 2 days and 1 night here and I am definitely pleased about our choice. I appreciate the effort which they put into taking care of the plants here, very careful. Especially, staff are friendly and helpful. The resort is very clean, quite, big pool for aldult and lovely pool for kids. My daughter enjoyed the playground and pool very much.
