Tremendous charming little hotel, located in the heart of the old town, it delivered on everything I expected for the very reasonable price. Staff were very friendly and helpful, as were everyone in Cagliari! Breakfast was basic but enough for me, some toast and jam, croissants, good coffee and orange juice.

Room was spacious enough and well equipped with a desk and wardrobe, space to put your bag etc. It was clean and the bed was very comfortable.

The bathroom was decent, low ceiling and needed some basic maintenance but more than adequate.

Refrigerator was out no option to resolve.
Sink in bathroom drained very slow.
Had to request soap dispenser in shower to be refilled after house keeping finished.
Breakfast brief the chaffing dishes need to be filled with hot water and lite the sterno gas.

Our A/C was broken and made a horrible high pitched noise. The hotel admitted that it was a bad situation but could not change our room or get a technician. They offered a cheap bottle of wine. We had to take sleeping pills to sleep with the noise. Too annoying to stay in room so had to stay out all day. They shrugged and offered 15 euro off per night. I found that insulting. Management didn’t think it was a big deal to have a high pitched awful noise 24/7 in the room. Also one of the reading lights was broken and dirty towels left from last inhabitants. We did not feel comfortable. Breakfast in a hot basement room with no character. I don’t know how this place got good reviews in the past. We tried to negotiate with the hotel several times but they felt that 15euro a night was what we deserved for a horrible stay in a noisy room.

Property is older but clean and staff is charming and kind. Breakfast was delicious - Stefania makes the best onion frittata and even shared her special recipe ! There was pastry and bread, yogurt, egg, cheese, meats and the scrumptious frittata. Also any coffees you want they make special for you. Nice easy walk to the train as well. Highly recommend - also on a quiet street near a Church.

A centrally located hotel with clean and well maintained facilities. A standard breakfast was included with good options. Easy access to the city and island transportation ( via train) great restaurant options and easy access to the old city quarter. The staff was accommodating in particular “Simone” who earned our trust and confidence as he was professional and provided good solid information regarding the city, local areas of interest and dining options. Simone’s professionalism is deserving of respect by guests and management! We recommend the hotel for its proximity and access to the city as well as accommodations.

This was a great property in liberty close to everything that you need! This includes the train station. The only thing that I would mention is that since there is no parking, you would need to park at the train station and then walk over to the hotel (which is about a 10 minute walk). Staff was very nice and very accommodating, would definitely recommend if you plan to travel to Cagliari

We really loved our stay here! Location was wonderful for being center. The hotel itself was very clean, modern and fit our needs to well. Loved the on-site breakfast option too especially if you have a lot days with excursions.

The hotel is not the newest anymore but clean and in a great location (everything in walking distance).
The breakfast is great and the staff is very friendly and was supporting and helpful with any questions we had.
Parking is not so easy during the week but there are many options close by (for a fee) and the staff is helping to find a parking (even upfront via WhatsApp).

The best thing my family and I can say about is it’s location in the center of the historic district. We were there for 2 nights and the rooms we received (and were unable to change) had mold on the walls and uncomfortably low ceilings.

The staff at this property were AMAZING... the four that I saw on daily basis were just kind kind kind.. Great location to walk around the city. It is older property but kept clean. I had the breakfast included was perfect for me. Was like continental the croissants wonderful. The only bad thing I can say is they have urinal in bathroom too and smelled like urine sometimes bad.
But I enjoyed my trip tremendously and they were a big part of it.....

This hotel location is great. Right in the Marina section of the historic town, lots happening all around you. Parking is tricky, super cool narrow streets surrounding it. staff is very nice, rooms are comfortable, clean, but not fancy. We just needed a place for 1 evening to catch a plane the next morning early. This was great for that prupose - however I'd also spend a few more days here since like I mentioned, it was well located, fair priced, and clean + comfortable.

This property is a very short walk from the airport train drop off. The train from the airport to the city, was about eight minutes and from there it was less than a 10 minute walk to get to the hotel. This staff working at the hotel was extremely nice. They gave us a few suggestions of things to check out. We got to see an airshow that takes place once a year at the recommendation of the staff. Our stay was very short, but very pleasant.

I have mixed feelings about this hotel. The staff was wonderful - extremely nice people. I think they would try to do anything to help a guest. As an older lady who travels alone, I place great value on nice people. There are a few things that could be improved upon. I do not like to have to get dressed and put a coat on to walk outside and down the street to the breakfast room. But that is just lazy me. Breakfast is served in a restaurant with the same name as the hotel and is very basic. I like more hot choices, or, just more choices period. I do not like a shower that is so small you cannot bend over to pick up a bar of soap that has been dropped. But the bathroom was new and very clean. The hot water took forever during the day. My biggest complaint was the in and out wifi. I have to work in the evening using wifi, and it would go out. Since no one is on the desk after 7:00PM, if the wifi goes out, one is out of luck until the next day. Would I stay here again? Maybe,....but at my age I might like a hotel where things go a bit more smoothly. Katherine

- The staff were very friendly and helpful
- Continental breakfast suits everyone except those insistent on a fry-up/scrambled eggs
- The room was good bar a few issues (tired linen/towels, slightly buzzy fusebox), otherwise well specced and comfortable
- could leave luggage on day of departure to spend more time in town.
I recommend it - for location it's unbeatable, I think, and it was a great price too.

I stayed here for just one night, in a single room.
The service I received here was excellent. The staff were very accommodating, helpful and welcoming.
I was on the first floor, in an ample room for one person. The hotel is very well located, just 5 minutes walk from the ARST bus station, as well as a plethora of shops, bars and restaurants.
Breakfast was included in my room rate, and there were a variety of things available to eat, from savoury meats and cheeses, sweet pastries, yoghurts and cereal.
The hotel organised a shuttle for me to the airport, and whilst this is a bit more expensive than an ordinary cab, you know it will be reliable, timely and safe for a single traveller.
I very much enjoyed my experience here, and would certainly stay again. Thank you!

Good check on...fast, speedy...i had single room which was small but fit for purpose...always came back to clean room....only issue is you are in centre on street shops(off license) and a church corner...does get noisy at times people walk past and being noisy...can be noisy in hotel being on 1st floor

We stayed 3 nights and it was a pleasant experience. Located in a fantastic area of Cagliari close to transport and also to restaurants and shops. The staff were very friendly and very informative in the lead up to the trip.
The hotel rooms are a good size but the bathrooms need some help! The bathroom is so jam-packed (get rid of the bidet!!) that the shower did not have a proper door and recess.This meant that unfortunately our shower flooded every time we used it no matter how much fiddling we did. This is dangerous and we had to use towels and bath mats to soak it up every time.

Wonderful boutique hotel, great location!

We loved our stay at the Hotel l'Ambasciata de Charme. The hotel is small, the rooms spacious, the breakfast terrific and all of the staff incredibly helpful and wonderful to talk to. We were in an excellent location and were able to walk most places in the Marina district.

I picked this hotel having seen the good reviews. It was a very good hotel but with some minor problems. On arrival with 2 suitcases for a weeks stay, we found only two coat hangers. In the bathroom their were two extractor fans, neither worked. The sink had no plug. The toilet seat was fixed by one hinge, the other was broken. A few holes in the wall where someone had drilled holes for rawlplugs but left the holes unfilled. Nothing serious, but not perfect.

It is fairly quiet at night once the local shops have closed. The hotel is clean and bright, the staff friendly and helpful, the room was very comfortable and the breakfast was of an excellent quality. Only a small hotel so it has a personal homely feel, we would certainly stay there again.

A very pleasant 3 night stay in the recently opened hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful and spoke fluent English.

The room was a classic single room which was compact but fine for a short trip, comfortable bed, TV and free wifi. The bathroom and shower is very modern.

The hotel is in the Marina area so close to many shops and restaurants and tourist places like the Chiesa di Santa Chiara and Bastione di Saint Remy. The hotel is 5 minutes from the train station (for airport) and 2 minutes from the bus stop which can take you to Poetto beach. The ferry terminal is also 5 minutes away.

Fantastiskt läge med närhet till allt! Personalen var mycket trevlig och hjälpsam med fina tips på restauranger och aktiviteter. Tyvärr fungerade inte AC:n i ena rummet helt som den skulle och lät ganska mycket på nätterna, vilket gjorde det lite svårt att sova. Sängen var också något hård. Men i övrigt en riktigt fin vistelse!

Ein kleines, an manchen Stellen etwas herunter gekommenes Hotel mit einfachem Frühstücksbuffet. Mir hat sehr gut das überaus freundliche und hilfsbereite Personal gefallen. Der Empfang ist von 07:00 Uhr morgens bis 23 Uhr abends besetzt und uns wurde immer freundlich weitergeholfen. Als 1 Nachmittag unser Wasser im Zimmer nicht funktionierte, hat man sich mehrfach entschuldigt, obwohl es an der Stadt lag. Zum Glück wurde es nach paar Stunden behoben. Als kein Toilettenpapier vom Zimmermädchen nachgefüllt wurde, habe ich nachgefragt und mir wurde etwas gegeben, was aber nur 1 Tag reichte, auf erneute Nachfrage (weil am nächsten Tag wieder keins da war) sagte man uns es gäbe keins aktuell. Wir haben dann im Markt um die Ecke selbst welches gekauft. Plötzlich war anschließend wieder welches vom Hotel auf dem Zimmer
An einem Tag wollten wir zum Strand und uns wurde ein Sonnenschirm angeboten, den wir kostenlos ausleihen konnten.
Sehr angenehm war, dass das komplette Hotel klimatisiert ist und man im Zimmer selbst einstellen kann.
Die Lage ist hervorragend, der Hafen und Innenstadt sind fußläufig gut zu erreichen.
Auch ein Taxitransfer vom Flughafen zum Hotel und zurück konnte über das Hotel organisiert werden.
Das Zimmer Maddalena hatte von außen keinen Türgriff, was aber nicht weiter gestört hat. Eher die Fenster im Zimmer, man fühlte sich wie im Souterrain, obwohl man in der 2. Etage war.
Alles in allem für den Preis ein tolles kleines Hotel. Vor allem das Personal.

Hotel muy céntrico y bien comunicado. El personal es estupendo y si es tu primera vez en la ciudad te pueden aconsejar a la hora de desenvolverte. Perfecto para unas vacaciones o por trabajo, es realmente acogedor.

L’hôtel se situe en zone de circulation réglementée. Seuls les résidents peuvent circuler dans le centre. Le garage indisponible. Le parking le plus proche est sur le port à 10mn à pied. Petit déjeuner très décevant pain dur et sec alors qu’une boulangerie se situe juste en face de l’hôtel. Nous avons une chambre économique située sous le toit mansardée sans fenêtre. Seulement un vasistas avec le système d’ouverture cassé.

La struttura si trova nel centro della Marina di Cagliari a due passi dal mare. Camera molto accogliente, letto stra comodo (evidentemente materasso nuovo), bagno dal design moderno con doccia a soffione ampio e getti orizzontali), pulizia molto buona, Wi-Fi free e tv a maxi schermo. La colazione è varia ed abbondante, dolce e salato.
Il personale è estremamente cordiale.

It is centrally located, walking distance to all important sites. Was not very clean, especially bathroom…
Was very loud as our room was facing Indian restaurant but also was weekend. Not easy to sleep.

For a short stay it does the work….

Cet hôtel à Cagliari est très bien situé à proximité de terrasses et de la vieille ville. Notre chambre était très propre, comfortable et remarquablement tranquille. La réceptionniste Stéphanie a été fort accueillante et ses conseils utiles. Nous recommandons cet endroit
