Ok room for 2. Very basic bathroom with no amenities. The curtain in the room is flimsy and let’s all light through so if up want to sleep you need to bring something to cover your eyes. The breakfast was great.

The location was good for us and the beds were reasonably comfortable. Even though it wasn't particularly hot outside the room was very hot (as were the corridors) and as the radiator was on in the shower room (with no way to control it) it was incredibly hot in there.

Hotel was very responsive and helpful both pre and during stay. Room was very basic but had what you needed. Breakfast not great, was not confident that a lot of it was fresh and the normal bread was too stale to eat everyday. Overall, was comfortable and very acceptable. Would use it again

Rather old-fashioned hotel poor value for money
Thankfully we checked-in around midday before going out with relatives because reception closes about 7 pm and the front door is locked. When we returned at around 9 pm, there was no bar or anywhere to sit comfortably with friends. The room was quite small and adequate for one night but the weather was very hot and the ventilation limited. It cost us more than a very nice hotel in the centre of Helsinki, so we felt is was poor value for money.

It's sort of a budget accommodation but location, comfortness, amenities and staff were great. Beds are comfortable and showers great. The only big minus was that the room curtains are bad so all the light comes in the room. Big plus if they would fix that.

Huoneissa jo ajanpatinaa, mutta hinta/laatu kohtasi nyt hyvin. Huoneessa oli mm.jääkaappi ja iltasaunakin kuului hintaan. Lisäksi huone saatiin jo ennen puoltapäivää, siitä erityiskiitokset joustavalle vastaanoton henkilölle! Hotellin sijainti on hyvä, ihan Lahden ydinkeskustan tuntumassa.

Majoituksen plussapuolia ovat ilmainen pysäköinti hallissa, hyvät sängyt ja perustason aamupala. Keskeisestä sijainnista huolimatta hotelli oli rauhallinen, vaikka ikkuna oli auki koko yön. Tilat itsessään ovat hyvin perinteiset ja kulumaa on havaittavissa. Helteisellä säällä suurin ongelma oli ilmastoinnin puute. Huone oli kuitenkin siisti, mutta esimerkiksi vaateripustimet eivät enää jaksaneet kannatella takkia.

Ilmainen auton pysäköinti hotellin omassa parkkihallissa. Huone oli siisti ja aamupala tarjolla.

Pysäköinti kätevä, aamupala hyvä. Sijainti ytimessä. Äänieristys sen sijaan oli todella heikko (naapurihuoneen puhe kuului kuin olisi samassa huoneessa ollut) ja hissi, käytävämölinä ja portaissa ramppaaminen herättivät aamuyöllä. Kylppärin katossa oli runsaahkosti homepilkkuja ja sisäilma oli heikkoa. Vaikka olisi vain pintahometta, tulisi ehdottomasti poistaa. Muutoin itse siisteys kunnossa, vaikka vanhahko hotelli jo onkin.

Ystävällinen ja joustava henkilökunta. Aamupala yllätti positiivisesti. Huone vastasi odotuksia.

Suihkussa sai odottaa pitkään lämmintä vettä koska säätimessä oli jotain vikaa. Huone oli myös hieman kylmä yöllä. Lisäksi tv:ssä näkyi vain muutama kanava ja esim yle 2 ja teema sekä MTV3 puuttuivat. Viime hetken varaukseksi menetteli ja sijainti oli hyvä.

Kirjautuminen sujui mallikkaasti,autolle löytyi tallipaikka hotellin alakerrasta,josta hissillä suoraan kerroksiin.Aamupala erittäin hyvä ja riittävä.Huoneen televisio kaipaisi päivitystä.

Käytän Lahden Kauppahotellia usein kun on asiaa Helsinkiin. Kyllä; koska koko ajomatka autolla Helsinkiin olisi 6 tuntia niin on ihan sama pysähtyä halpaan mutta hyvään hotelliin kauempana, ja jatkaa matkaa aamulla tuntia aikaisemmin. Auton saa sisälle parkkihalliin ilman eri maksua, sängyt on hyvät, suihkusta tulee lämmintä vettä ja aamupala on lähes samaa luokkaa kuin nyt vaikka HolidayInn Vantaalla. Säästöä syntyy yleensä kuitenkin noin 100 euroa.
