Came for the Finalndia-hihto race. Very convenient downtown hotel, about 20 minute walk from race center, 10 minute walk from train station. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby. Trattoria in restaurant is very good, but pricey. Was disappointed hotel had no gym. Liked the hotel bar.

This was our second stay from US and it just a wonderful hotel. Everyone was professional, friendly and pleasant. We had a wonderful, quiet room away from the street with large space and all modern technology with dimming lights, automatic switches etc, very large bathroom with shower and beautiful coloring and tiles. Bed was large and comfortable. Overall a great stay and I would recommend highly.

It was a very good stay. A nice hotel, very good location, very good service, a very nice high quality restaurant, good inside parking, and what else! We would not go anywhere else in Lahti. And yes, a really good breakfast also. You will not be disappointed.

The hotel staff was really friendly and helpful. The place itself is clean, well maintained and the breakfast was excellent and extensive. My room was perfectly fine, the decor was a bit too beige for my tastes - not very modern moodwise - but everything was new and clean. The location could not be more perfect.

I felt like this could be a good hotel but they are letting themselves down by cutting corners. It is recently built hotel but they are not doing a good job maintaining it. My room was dirty with nail clipping and dust mites on the floor under the desk and under the bed. The shower was very mouldy. I don’t think they spend enough time cleaning.

Solo Sokos hotel is central in Lathi,Finland. The room was basic but perfect for my needs. The staff were friendly and provided good service. They listened and were very helpful. The food is good with an excellent breakfast buffet.
I was visiting family and although I was arriving very late a quick call to the hotel meant I was able to register and get to my room quickly for a much needed sleep.
I would recommend this hotel as the service was good and the staff are willing to help you in any way they can. Looking forward to staying there again.

My wife joined me for a business trip, and the hotel was just what we needed. Small but cute rooms, great staff, excellent food and centrally located near shopping, dinning, etc.

The hallways were very dirty, building old and had to pull our luggage long way, including stairs to get to our room.Our room was \"Superior\", that is slightly larger, but there was nothing superior about it! The receptionist was not at all help full with information. esp re: hotel parking and how to access the garage.

Pieni harmitus, kun kadulta tulevat aamiaisennälkäiset hieman aiheuttivat jonoa, se sallittakoon, sana kiirii hyvästä aamiaisesta. Se toki aiheutti stressiä hieman henkilökunnalle: kova yritys siistiä pöytiä seuraaville, minkä vuoksi saatuani kahvikannun pöytään ja juotuani yhden kupin ennen varsinaista aamiaista, kuppini ja kannu oli jo viety, kun olin jonottamassa ruokia. Ehdin kuitenkin samaan pöytään ennen kuin siihen oltiin tuomassa uusia asiakkaita. Ja \"komensin\" tuomaan uuden kannun. Kiirettä piti siis minullakin, sillä hieman odotusta, kun henkilökunta yritti täyttää tyhjentyneitä kulhoja, suht ripeästi kuitenkin.
Huone oli kaunis ja siisti, kiittelinkin siistijöitä käytävällä. Vain kenkälusikkaa en löytänyt.

Nice hotel, but was unable to sleep, due to ice being removed by a giant excavator hammering and scraping just outside the hotel most of the night. And very thin walls, you can hear the neighbor room quite well (my neighbor had kids that were not very happy). Tablet in room did not work. Great breakfast. Small rooms but have what you need.

Huone oli siisti ja näkymä kadulle postiivinen asia, mutta varavuoteen kanssa se oli myös ahdas. Alakerran ravintola/baariosasto toi sisääntuloalueeseen rauhattomuutta, mutta toki myös elämää. Oikein miellyttävä kokemus. Pari miinusta kuitenkin. Patjasta muodostui kuoppa jossa oli hankala nukkua kyljellään (painan 90 kg). Aamiainen loistava. Sen pilasi joku savukalasotku (sama vanha kala/toimittaja taitaa olla koko ketjussa jo vuosia) joka jäikin sitten maistumaan suuhun loppupäiväksi. Eikö ostaja voisi itse joskus käydä syömässä sitä🤔. Hyvää kalaa toivoisi enemmän tarjottavaksi. Palvelu ystävällistä ja ammattitaitoista.

Huoneen sisäikkuna oli jäänyt (pestäessä tai muuten) auki. Vasta yöllä havaitsin, että se aiheutti vedon tunteen huoneessa. Huoneessa ei ollut avainta, jolla ikkunan olisi voinut sulkea. Huomautin asiasta hotellista poistuessani. Sain ystävällisen vastauksen. Summa summarum: kun huone jää asiakkaalle luovutettavan kuntoon, on syytä tarkastaa, että se todella on siinä kunnossa, että asiakas voi huoletta majoittua siihen. Tämän tason ongelman kohtaamista en olisi osannut odottaa valitessani majoituksen Lahden Seurahuoneen tasoisesta perinteikkäästä hotellista. Laadunvalvontaa on syytä kehittää.

Lisäksi kummallinen ilmiö kun luulin ensin että lähistöllä on yökerho kun pitkälle yöhön kuului sen kaltaista bassovärinää kuin ravintoloista yleensä kuuluu mutta seuraavana aamuna totesin äänen edelleen jatkuvan ja se kuului tuulen mukaisessa tahdissa eli ulkopuolella osui tuuli johonkin ikkunan lähellä olevaan aiheuttaen äänen ( korkea mainosvalo seinällä? ).Kuitenkin uskoisin puutteiden olevan vain tämän huoneen kohdalla ja voisin käydä toitekkin hotellissa!

Lauantain ja sunnuntain välinen yö vilkkaan illanviettoajelukadun varrella ei ehkä ollut paras valinta. Minulle tarjottiin kyllä mahdollisuutta valita huone.
