The hotel was fine, well located and adequate for a property of that age. But upon checkout there was an argument with the manager about extra charges. I was charged $84 for a second person, having only listed one person on the original reservation. Fair enough. They ran my card for the charge at check in, then tried to charge me again at check out. I opened my Wells Fargo credit card app and proved to the manager that it was already charged to me - 4 days earlier. She said it was not charged and denied the fact of what Wells Fargo proved to both of us. She became enraged, started literally screaming at me and calling me names. I’ve never experienced anything like it, and actually never even seen anything like it in 30 years of business travel. i would avoid this place and that type of experience at all costs.

Was given probably worst selections of room when checked in. After complaint, front desk assigned a much better location room in same class the next day but said it in a way that doesn'tmake a guest feel good.Nit the most friendly check in staff. Hotel is very old but not renovated recently. Bathtub is so high and difficult to get in and our. Elderly and mobility challenge will struggle and may trip. Coffee machine at breakfast always broken. Good breakfast foods selection otherwise.

Old colonial hotel built in 1925 with perfect upkeep. The room was comfortable and the breakfast buffet offered a large spread of varied items. We ate at the Skybar and found the food to be good but overpriced (American prices or resort prices)

Our stay at Hotel Majestic was everything we had hoped it would be. The room was clean, large, and very comfortable. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly, and the hotel's location is perfect for getting to know Saigon by foot. Not everything in the room was perfect, the hand held shower holder needed some work, but this was taken care of by the staff. I would certainly recommend the hotel to anyone who appreciates history.

This hotel is beautiful and classy. It is so reminiscent of the past having celebrated 100 years, yet fresh and spacious. It is in an amazing location 3 blocks from the Opera House, and Nguyen St with all its restaurants and shops. The breakfast is a feast for the eyes, endless choices, indoors or outdoors. I had stayed in the Majestic, and the nearby Dong Khoi hotels back in the early 1990’s, and I was thrilled I could bring my family here at this time for Christmas, and they could enjoy the Majestic as well.
The Dong Khoi hotel seems to be closed, but the original Beautiful building still exists which is Great!

The breakfast buffet is very good even though the varieties are limited to Western foods. Coming to Vietnam we expect they would serve more local foods like freshwater fish. But only fruits are local.

A beautiful historic hotel with over 100 years of charm. Staff were excellent, the location is convenient, and the setting is lovely. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and well designed, though the balcony access was closed and the shower felt a bit dated.
