Rooms cramped. Too tight around wardrobe area. No full length hanging for dresses. Poor breakfast. Breakfast buffet poor layout. Staff not very friendly except housekeeping staff who always greeted us.

What I liked about this hotel is its close proximity to different beaches nearby; the location is perfect as it is close to restaurants, shopping center, and walking distance to Old Town. The services and amenities are all good, but not excellent. I would say it is more of 4 or 4.5 star hotel.

Great location right in front of the boardwalk. Nice quiet pool area with drinks available for purchase from the bar and with a nice view of the oceanside. Breakfast area was a bit crowded in the mornings. Reasonably priced.

Nice hotel about 5 minutes walk to Budva old town. Breakfast is Ok could have more choices. Staff is very friendly and professional. Need to mention Nikola who is very professional and very much service oriented. However for housekeeping I find it weird to have the room cleaned in less then 5 minutes!! Also a box of tissue and a coffee machine in the room would be appreciated for a 5 star hotel

This was a wonderful hotel, located in an ideal location, 5 minute walk from the old town.
I enjoyed the breakfast and use of the pool area.. Also included valet parking for the duration of my stay.. would be happy to return here in the future..

Beautiful but uncomfortable.

The hotel is beautiful and the location is great. The beds and pillows are very uncomfortable. It’s two very flat and hard twin mattresses pushed together for form a double bed. The linen and pillows are very uncomfortable. Overall, hard to get a good night sleep. I would expect more from a boutique hotel. Also, they don’t offer beach beds at coco beach like they used to…so expect to pay to use a beach.

The property is marked as 5 start hotel but it actual fall short of the professional standards.

The hotel is next to v busy main pedestrian road and other clubs, it is v noisy throughout the whole days and even at mid nights. I hardly have any quite nights next to my windows with incredible loud dancing and sing music next to my ears fr the balcony on one night that last until 1 am in the morning ! And this only our 2nd night at the hotel with the 1st night a large group talking loudly under my balcony until midnight and so similar to the rest of our stay. I had to catch up with my sleep for half day the next day due to lack of sleep . And although the hotel balcony has a sea view , it is mostly blocked by the tall in front of it .
The hotel has not much privacy for the clients as when u seat on your balcony, there will be strangers sitting in front of your balcony watching into your balcony . We even had terrible night experiences being followed by a group of strangers who seem to be coordinating with each other fr the restaurant near by to near our hotel. We felt being watched by some evil doers while we stayed in budva. As a result of this , we felt unsafe to stay any longer and had to checked out earlier and wasted one night stay at the hotel because it is i refundable and the hotel manager refuse to do refund to us despite of the issues we had during our stay .

We came here after the wonderful Hilton in Podgorica, it was significantly more expensive for a much lower quality hotel experience. The rooms were simple, modern, but basic. Good dinner. Breakfast average, with fruit juice that tasted like children’s cordial and poor quality coffee. At breakfast and dinner, very loud children - not recommend for a quiet couples get-away. Beach view was limited. Overall, a nice hotel, but I’m not clear why it’s so popular and expensive.

Great property right on the marina and only 5 minutes from the old town. Stayed there one night on the way down to Albania. Perfect place to get your head down and go out to eat in town. Parking was free and easy, check in simple and the pool was clean and warm. I would return to this hotel.

THE Place to Stay in Budva

This has to be the best place to stay in the entire city. Everything was so clean and the decor was beautiful. The free breakfast featured an omelet bar and a buffet! To top it off, the staff was friendly and helpful. If I visit Budva again, this will be the hotel I’m staying at.

Amazing staff, super welcoming and courteous. The facility is in impeccable condition. Breakfast, which is included with the stay, is really good too. Location is perfect, it's in the waterfront, walking distance to Old Town, and just a short 12 minute drive to Sfeti Stefan. If I'm coming to Budva again, and being so close from Kosovo, I will be back, I won't think twice about going elsewhere. Hotel Budva is where it's at. Keep up this standard of hospitality, you are amazing.

Hotel budva is a nice hotel in a good location close to beach, bars and restaraunts. Breakfast was ok, we had a room at the front of hotel but I should imagine if you had a seaview you would get the loud music from clubs banging away until early hours.

Great, modern, comfortable hotel in a perfect position for beach and old town. Staff were friendly and happy to help. Rooms spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Nice outdoor pool area looking toward beach. Only negative was the gym is tiny and outdated.

Gernerally the hotel was fine .. Tidy and clean .. was more of an IKEA type of furniture in the rooms .. unfortunately there was no Coffee maker nor water bottles were provided for the guests .. breakfast was not impressive as i noticed if you were getting in at 9:00am most of the Chef Dishes were empty .. no one cared to refill hot dishes .. there were bites of breads .. and the remaining hot dishes were cold, not even warm .. i complained but that was a bit late as i was checking out ..

A gem in Budva

When we arrived we were welcomed by the friendly staff on reception. Despite being early they managed to get us into our rooms and put us next door to each other.

The pool area is a nice place to relax and the bar staff were friendly and couldn't do enough for us, every time we ordered drinks they knew what we were having.

Tijuan (hope I spelt that right) on reception was great, a slight misunderstanding but she helped turn it around, was happy to help and arranged taxis for us for a trip to Kotor and the airport.

Breakfast was not short of choice and the choices were plentiful and everything tasted great. The staff were friendly and were quick to clean away. The young lady welcoming us for breakfast was amazing, she was personable and always smiling.

The room was exactly as pictured online, it felt luxurious, spacious and had plenty of storage. The cleaning ladies did a great job every morning and always ensured we were topped up with toiletries.

Being a pasty Brit the air con was a brilliant and welcomed addition to the room.

The only downside would be the music at night from clubs along the road, I did read previous reviews and packed ear plugs. Would be a good idea to have these in the room for those that don't pack them.

I loved my week in Budva and Hotel Budva added to this experience. I would love to return to Budva and would definitely book with the hotel and will definitely recommend it to friends.

Beware of the noise, we won't be returning!

Lovely hotel, decent eating places but during July and August the noise between 10.00 pm and 1.00 am is horrendous. We changed rooms 3 times at Hotel Budva and still could not sleep until after 1.00 am. Consequently we were still tired every morning.
Budva is developing its holiday services and there is still some scope for improvement, so don't expect much sophistication and try to stay close to the Old Town because the nearer you are to Becici the noisier and more crowded it becomes. However, despite the noise there doesn't appear to be much rowdiness or drunken behaviour in the evening.
Beware when booking through Expedia as they are not best value. Check other providers and remember you need to pay for transfers.
An interesting holiday but not a patch on Dubrovnik and we won't be returning to Budva.

The hotel was almost completely satisfactory as a 4*+ hotel. I rate hotels, however, on the basis of the fruit juice served at breakfast. On this basis, the hotel only rated 2*. The fast, reliable, secure WiFi was totally unreliable.

Probably the best you will see in Montenegro

This hotel is a level above Montenegro in general. Staff are ever accommodating and friendly. Not all items on restaurant menu are available but staff will make pleasing recommendations. Close to 'nightclub' area, so very loud at night. Did not see any other hotels of comparable high standard in Budva, however.

Hotel Budva was very nicely decorated and in a great location right by the beach and a few minutes walk from the Old Town.

The hotel itself had good facilities, but it felt like we were there out of season even though we visited at the end of May with the pool closing at 5pm and the sauna not set up (in fairness, we didn't ask for them to turn it on). Breakfast was decent and the 1 meal we had was good too.

The hotel is located at the end of the strip so we could hear music in the room which went on to the early morning. In addition, although the hotel was very smart, the surrounding area outside the hotel was pretty shabby and Budva in general was disappointing.

Felt a little over priced - but that's probably more due to Budva than the hotel itself.

Very nice hotel with perfect location for both city beach and old town. Modern and new hotel. Comfortable room. Would be more than great if the twin beds get a bit larger. Restaurant, street food and supermarket around the hotel. Staff was friendly. A variety of selections for breakfast. Overall quite good. Strongly recommended.
