Don’t book it’s partially closed.

It’s difficult to review a hotel that is partially closed due to a fire, there is no warning of this other than a sign on the door diverting you to a hotel round the corner where you get your key, go back to the Amber then return to the other one for breakfast. Ridiculous, close it or stop taking bookings.

Staff was disinterested and unhelpful. We asked for the hotel to call a taxi for an early departure to the airport, and no taxi showed up. At 3:30 am, there was no one at reception and were only available to someone with a cell phone plan that works in Sweden. We would not go back.

Hotel is okay for a one night stay. Rooms are small and beds are very basic. As comfortable as one can expect for this hotel. No issues. Check in is very easy. Bathrooms are also acceptable. Good shower heads but very dark in the shower. Not much lighting in the actual shower area.

No plug ins beside beds. Not a huge problem but in today's pace of life, it would be welcomed.

Lovely & simple hotel with great customer service

We had a lovely stay here (just one night). Very clean and convenient. I found the bathroom facilities particularly nice and modern with radiant floor heating and an excellent shower (much better than you often find in Europe). The breakfast buffet (included) was exceptional and a lot of care goes into the homemade jams and breads - the whole thing really.
Most of all, the lovely gentleman at the front desk made our visit. I am sure I am spelling his name wrong but it is Giralim. He was wonderful!

Convenient and well-run small hotel in a small tow

We came by air & left by train .the aAmber is v near the railway station and is a reasonable distance to the Main Street. We stayed one night on our way north west to Abisko. The Am ber was just what we wanted.

Close to rail Station

Hotel was very handy to the train station, perfect for me as the focus of my trip was the railway voyage, part of a tour which would take me across Russia. I had dinner there which was excellent, very convenient as I arrived later and needed to be up early to catch my next train.

Rummet litet men ok. Hotellet väldigt sunkigt, det stod återvinning ute på trappan när vi kom och i hallen långa elkablar och verkligen inte mysigt. Väldigt slitet. Sen var reception och frukost i ett annat hotell i närheten. Det framgick inte när vi bokade. Frukosten ok men i ett mörkt utrymme i källaren utan fönster. Betyget var högt i Hotels-appen och det är obegripligt för ett så slitet ställe.

Rummet jag bodde i var inte ordentligt städat. Tog upp detta med personalen som var väldigt trevliga och tillmötesgående. De fixade det jag anmärkte på, men rummet hade behövt storstädas. Torka dörrar, dammsuga lister, tvätta överkastet osv för att ge den där fräscha hotellkänslan. Frukosten var bra och det var enkelt att få kontakt med personalen. Kan tänka mig att bo på detta hotell igen.

Rummet var, men kallt. Golven var iskalla. Det fanns ingen information om att restaurangen som serverar frukost var stängd, man tvingades gå ut till grannhotellet (samma ägare) varje morgon för att äta frukost.
Detta på grund av renovering efter en brand. Jag hade inga problem med det men tycker att man kunde ha meddelat det på bokningssidan .

Ska man vara petig så kan jag också påpeka att det inte fanns någon krok för badlakan i badrummet, bara en lågt hängande krok för små handdukar.

Prisvärt boende. I alla fall det jag betalade den dagen. Det är gammalt men charmigt. Mycket skön säng och kudde!! Ovanligt för ”budget” hotel. Helt ok frukost. Tyst och lugnt. Men beror ju mycket på de andra gästernas i hotellet också. Fantastiskt gott kaffe förresten.

Ingen hiss btw tror jag. Fint att veta om du inte kan gå i trappor.

Hotel mycket nära tåg och busstation. Perfekt läge för det.

Be om rom over kjellerplanet

I underetasjen er det ikke mulig å åpne vindu på rommene, og i varmen var det direkte ubehagelig. Man bør derfor be om rom over kjelleretasjen for å trives med å bo ved det hotellet. Frokost på nabo hotellet med helt greit utvalg. Veldig god service av resepsjonen.

Smutsigt och rörigt.

Fruktansvärt smutsigt hotellrum med stora dammtussar under sängen, hår och fläckar från något som hade runnit på möblerna. Skitigt kylskåp. Det saknades två krokar på toa, hållaren till duschen var kass. Sa till direkt om städningen och de gick dit. Men det var lika dammigt och smutsigt när vi kom tillbaka. Reception och frukost är på det andra hotellet runt hörnan, frukosten serverar i en källare med ett litet fönster. Väldigt instängt och varmt i sommarvärmen. Dock väldigt generöst med smörgåspålägg, och mkt frukt. Äggröran var hemsk, annars en riktigt bra frukost. Lite loj personal, även om de inte var otrevliga. Renovering i stora delar av huset. Rörigt. Plus för att det var så nära stationen. Och sängarna var bra. Annars, nej. Välj ett annat hotell!

Perfekt boende i centrum

Först fick vi rum i källarplanet. Det var kvavt och hett (27 grader). Ventilationen funkade inte och fönsterna gick inte att öppna. Vi fick byta till riktigt fina rum. Även i övrigt ett fint hotell.

Enkelt men väldigt bra

Ett hotell av det enklare slaget, men med bra rum, snyggt och stort badrum. Lite läckra detaljer som takbelysning i form av jugendlampor eller kristallkronor. Aningen stört av förbipasserande glada nattvandrare.

Hotellet har en allvarlig brist, i det att korridorerna var fulla av vagnar med handdukar etc. Detta gäller även kring nödutgångarna( Se foton) och trapphus. Jag tvivlar starkt på att brandskyddsmyndigheten skulle godkänna detta!
Hotellet är annars i hyfsat skick. Det är ett enkelt, men rent och snyggt hotell, med bekväma sängar, god mörkläggning, det är tyst och har en överraskande bra frukost!

Bra frukost, sköna sängar, gammalt men rent. Nyckelkortet slutade att fungera vid två tillfällen, irriterande, receptionen och frukosten var i hotellet runt hörnet, den informationen fick man sms om efter att bokningen var klar. Hotellet får helt klart godkänt.

Pienin varauksin tähän hintaan.

Hankala sisäänkirjautuminen,parkkipaikka oli ensin hukassa. Aamupala oli naapuri hotellissa mutta hyvä kuitenkin. Huoneessa tyhjä jääkaappi. Suihkusta tuli vettä niukasti, käynti kesti kauan. Ei muita palveluja kuin huone.

Felaktig info ang frukosten som fanns på ett annat hotell. Inget vatten på rummet. Varmt kylskåp! Vattenkokare men inga muggar eller t ex tepåsar. Totalt ointresserad personal när jag påpekade ovanstående. Dåligt städat, t ex kladdigt sängbord, trasig läslampa.

Bra läge i centrala Luleå. Bra parkeringsmöjligheter. Hotellet under reparation efter brand så frukost i grannhotellet ca. 100 m bort. Konstigt planerat dubbelrum med dubbelsängen tryckt mot ett hörn viket gjorde det mindre komfortabelt. Rummet hade gått att möblera vettigare.

Funkade att sova där 2 nätter men kommer inte boka det hotellet igen, tyckte det var ett ganska konstigt hotell och sjukt varmt i rummet gick inte att ändra temperaturen heller och helt mörkt eftersom det låg tydligen i en källare. Åker man till Luleå för att man är ute efter bekvämlighet och ett nice hotell hade jag inte valt detta men asså helt ok om man bara ska sova där

Efter den brand som varit på hotellet serveras frukost på ett närbeläget hotell. Där var det inte alls samma fina miljö. Vi ser fram emot att komma tillbaka och få äta frukost i hotellets frukosten igen efter reparation.

Hiljainen siisti majoitus loisto aamiaisella

Kirjautuminen ja aamupala oli toisessa hotellissa johtuen remontista. Uudet huoneet olivat hiljaisia ja siistejä. Samoin aamupala oli loistava, samoin palvelu.
