Breakfast okay, Staffs very helpful.
But I've asthma attack whole night and I'm feeling not very good about fumes of lemongrass oils in my room.
Next time I must advise them in advance not sprayed lemongrass oil.
Every things was fine to me.
Will stay again whenever we're coming back to Đà Lạt.

Nice French colonial design but poorly maintained. Limited and cheap room decors. Cheap plastic phone and night lamp about to fall apart. Rusted and stained bathroom fixtures. Shower has no fixture to hold shampoo and bath gel bottles.
Limited dining options nearby. Breakfast options were limited and of poor quality.
Only great things were a comfortable bed and friendly and helpful staff (front desk and cleaning).

A comfortable antique hotel!

Beautiful old character hotel on the hill in Dalat. Mostly preserved in its 1930’s glory including the original elevator. Free parking, breakfast Buffett, easy walking to the night market and lake. Lots of amenities around. Quiet rooms.

The rooms are old and very small. The faucets and shower have never been cleaned since they were installed 20 years ago. There is not enough space for the suitcases. The rooms have no air conditioning. The rooms have old fans that don’t work very well. There is no exhaust fan in the washroom. There is no ventilation in the hotel.

The hotel building being an old structure had a charming character. However, it lacked a modern air conditioner so it was not possible to ser the room temperature to our liking. Also, the bed size was rather small even for us that are average in height.

The hotel gives an atmosphere of the nostalgic 1930-1940 era which we like. The hotel is located near the Xuan Huong lake & Da Lat market. The staff were friendly & the service excellent. The breakfast was good & the menu changed everyday during the 5 days of our stay

The hotel rivaled the Raffles (Singapore), Peninsula (Hong Kong) in terms of history, comfort, and style. The staff was exceptional as I was afraid that I had lost my passport and the staff helped me find it. Dalat is a great city and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

Not worth $80 a night!

The hotel is old and rundown. The plug in the rooms beside the bed are European which are different to Vietnamese plugs so I was not able to charge my phone by the bed, the bathroom hose had a leak so my bathroom was constantly wet, my ceiling fan did not work. The staff were friendly but for $80 a night it was waaaaay to over priced for what you get. Unless history and nostalgia is all you want in a hotel.

Historical and interesting hotel to stay in Dalat that provides guests to experience the French influence on Vietnam. Elevator is a 1920's like cage elevator and is charming and fun to use.

The dining area and breakfast is set in a beautiful sunlit area with a good range of food.

Friendly and helpful staff.

Not an easy walk to the city centre and would recommend catching a taxi or motorbike.

Very old hotel need of a repair, barely a 3 star

The hotel lobby, reception, dinning, service were fantastic. It was at the level of 4 star hotel we expected.

However, the room condition was really poor at the level of 0 star. This place needs a major upgrade to match its looks from the outside. Our room had no air conditioning even though we paid extra for a "mountain view" room. There was barely enough space in the room to place the standing fan and turn it on without hitting things. There was no way to turn on the ceiling fan. Luckily it was not hot during our stay there. Opening the windows helped to cool down the room but it was too noisy at night to keep the windows open.

The shower head was in horrible condition, which I found out after getting in the shower. It would not spray water properly. The water temperature control was broken also. Every 15-20 seconds the water would go from very hot to cold. My daughter screamed several times during her shower because it was too hot sometimes. We ended up using using a water glass to hold water and wash ourselves.

There was only 1 outlet to charge phones. However, it would be switched off when the wall light was turned off at night. The only other outlet had several other things connected (TV, cable, fridge, etc.).

The elevator was great looking for antique point of view. However, it was not always functional. It stopped operating for a while during our stay. It would also not go down to the bottom floor where the dinning area was.

This is a very well located property withing walking distance of beautiful lake but that sadly has not been taken care of all. Service and amenities are marginal at best and the room was dark and needs a deep clean (replace the old couch and move the mini fridge which is just sitting on the floor). Thise propery could be a real landmark if someone showed some love and investment in it. Hope that they can improve on all levels and restore this hotel which has so much potential.

The property is beautiful because of its French Art Deco style architecture. Although a three-star property, the hotel needs a serious overhaul. The decoration, the colours, the furniture look so Communist-style 1980s. Tasteless... Hotel shuttle service to the airport was very bad and staff not very helpful.I almost missed my plane... Breakfast was however good. Hotel should be more dedicated to guests and be less "communist-style" trained...Like the property!

A pleasant base for visiting Dalat

Good location to easily get to the lake area or the Old/ Night market area, without being right in it. Easy walk to be able to enjoy the gardens of the nearby Dalat Palace Hotel. Lovely high ceilings, wood flooring and stairs , and decor reminiscent of French colonial times. Enjoyable , bright breakfast room. Congenial, helpful service staff.

Beautiful old hotel in a clean cool city!

Du Parc is a beautiful old hotel with lots of character. Even has an old fashion elevator with cage doors opened by the bell hop!
Enjoyed a private tour with Diep (recommended by the hotel) and we took the tram up to Truc Lam Pagoda, saw the Summer Palace, Datanla Waterfall,and Crazy House. We hired Diep to drive us to NhaTrang as well. He speaks perfect English and was a wealth of information.

Bedding and batthroom have both seen better days, breakfast tepid, drinks dispensers at breakfast very slow to be replenished and the information folder in the room refers mostly to the Palace Hotel further along the road. ( yes they are part of the same group, but they are not the same establishment, so much of the information provided was incorrect (such as where to take breakfast - yet another establishment was given -again incorrectly. Great building and location but it really does some attention to detail paid.

Pros: not far from the lake but not super central by the market. Easy to rent a motorbike and the staff is super friendly. Dated but well maintained.
Cons: A bit old one elevator that gets stuck if people don't close the gate when they get off.
Breakfast looks magnificent but with 9 staff on duty only the egg station is working and the rest is just dribs and drabs. With all that staff why is everything so poorly stocked? Senseless items are offered that one really can't eat.

the hotel showing its age,the outlook still nicely maintained but the rooms do need upgrade,it was very cold in Dec when we were there no central heater in the room,they gave us portable heater with bright light that was banned years ago,breakfast definitely can be better.for the price we paid we dont think its worth to stay here. location was ok short ride to market,not too far to walk there too.

A taste of the past

This is a very good hotel built in the 30s and still retains that classical style, including a very antique elevator. I was upgraded free to a suite which was very roomy, with very 30s furnishings, like a wardrobe and credenza. A safe hotel, much frequented by Party officials so the security is good, although it does make for some dour faces at breakfast. The staff is universally helpful, especially the bellhops. Reception speaks English well, and currency exchange is available at the front desk. Breakfast is pretty good, although given Dalat’s agricultural base I would have preferred a greater variety of fruit. Location is a short and cheap taxi ride from the center of town, and most taxi drivers seem to understand Hotel Du Parc without difficulty. It is easily walkable too.

From the moment I checked in to the moment I checked out I was impressed with the standards maintained here. Every member of staff I talked to was friendly, polite and helpful, if for any reason they could not help I was directed to someone who could straight away.

First time in da lat

The hotel has that french colonial charm, older, but clean, beautiful, and comfortable. The included breakfast had a huge selection of international and vietnamese style food, was delicious and worthy. The staff was always helpful and accommodating. The location is in central part of town, within walking distance to Da lat market, which made it a bit noisy, but still, I would stay again any day.

The hotel's location is close to the market and many great places that you can just take a walk to. This hotel was built in 1932 so it's kind of historical. Everything is great except for the bed, it was full size bed so kind of small compare to all the other hotels that I'd been to. If you like a classic and kind of historical hotel then this one for you.
