I cannot say enough good things about this wonderful hotel. The room was perfect, with classic period decor. The staff was friendly and attentive, the breakfast bar was lovely (and the woman who took my coffee order made the very best coffee!).

All this, and the location, in the heart of St Germain and the 6th. Exceptional value for the money. I’ll never stay anywhere else when I’m in Paris!

We stayed at this hotel for three nights. Upon arrival we were greeted warm and friendly and the front desk staff was outstanding. Unfortunately, our air conditioner was leaking down the wall and onto the twin bed. The twin bed became soaked and we put towels down and pulled the bed out from the wall. We let the front desk know, and they said they would be on it. Their fix was to pull out the bed even further, leaving no room to walk and putting more towels into a bucket. The next day they tried putting cloths directly into the air conditioner and use tape. Of course we’ve taken a number of pictures and we also reached out to the hotel. They offered to buy us breakfast on our last day but time did not allow for that. When I email them after our stay. I received a friendly email stating that they would give us a discounted rate the next time we stayed in Paris. Again the condition of the room for over €600 a night was unacceptable.

I recently booked with this hotel due to the amazing location. However, my room was filthy and smelled of dust, mildew, and mold. The fabric on the walls seemed to have never been vacuumed or cleaned, and the pictures and mirrors dropped tons of dust out of them. Unfortunately, I had to check out early, as the hotel room made me extremely sick and I was unable to breathe during the entirety of my stay. The hotel staff was rude and would not offer any type of accommodation to remedy the situation. The hotel offered no refund for checking out three days early. The first time I asked for a remedy of the situation, I never heard back from the front desk. The second time I asked, they told me to wait until the next day to sort it out. The next day, they told me to wait one more day for the manager to be available, and they still did not do anything to remedy the situation. After posting a similar review to Google, the hotel responded to the review stating they offered me another room and I declined, and that the smell was due to recently changing the carpets. This is a lie, as I was told they could not offer me another room as all rooms will be the same problem. Had they offered me a room where they didn’t recently stir up a ton of dust from changing the carpets, I would have gladly accepted. Not only is the place filthy, but they are un trustworthy. Do not stay here!

Great spot - charming!

Enjoyed our 3-night stay at Hotel de Seine. Quiet location, calm, friendly and helpful reception staff. Clean and comfortable rooms with old world charm. View of court yard was not too special, though from 6th floor room could see the top of the Eiffel Tower, including when it goes sparkly on the hour.
We ended up having breakfast around the corner at Cafe Le Moliere, as they had a range of prices for different size appetites.

The best place in Paris!

This is the best hotel we've found over 35 years of coming to Paris: a really fresh and friendly staff, a perfect location, atmospheric rooms--and, we found this time, an excellent breakfast.

We try to stay here every year and are never disappointed. The river, the Jardin du Luxembourg, the Metro and every kind of shop and restaurant are all within a pleasant short walk.

The breakfast is lovely and the woman who was serving it was wonderful. The room amenities are basic. Towels etc. a little worn. However, this was an affordable and accessible little hotel in a great location. So if you do not need upscale amenities, this is a great place to stay.

This is the perfect location for travelers who want to be in the best part of St.Germain in Paris. It is steps away from restaurants, jazz clubs, grocery stores, and metro stations. Short walk to the Luxemburg gardens, Pantheon, Nortre Dam, Louver, Musee D'Orsay. Our hotel room was on the fifth floor and had a balcony with a lovely Parisian view. The bed and the linens were very comfortable. There was a full size bathroom with a soaking tub. No refrigirator though (we travelled in November, so we put our wine on the outside balcony to keep it chilled). There is an elevator in the hotel, so climbing up to the fifth floor was not an issue. The staff was friendly, helpful and available at any time. Overall great experience, we'll be back

What a scam. Don't book or stay here. They use a photo advertising on Expedia, but the room they gave us was shocking dirty, old and small, no window, like a closet. I have claustrophobic. They change our room to the attic which was also bad but at least with a small window. We couldn't stay, had to change to another hotel. What a waste of $250-300. Don't believe the photos they posted on the Expedia, it will be too late when you arrive there. Will never stay there!

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. It is within easy reach of many main attractions and only a few minutes walk to Odeon, Mabillon and a Saint Germain des Pres metro stations. The area has a lot of restaurants right on the doorstep. We had a room facing into the courtyard so no view but very quiet. There was always plenty of very hot water available and the bed was comfortable. The room needed a little tlc in places but nothing major. My main negative was that the room was far too hot, especially at night. There was no way to turn the heating down. Other than that it’s a great hotel in a fantastic location.

amazing, amazing, amazing. clean hotel and our hotel room was large, clean and so so comfortable. The front desk gentleman who works there in the evening is so sweet and kind. This hotel is located in the st. germain area and quite honestly was in the perfect location for us. we walked to everything. Close to the metro station St. michel and that got us to Versailles. We walked over 80 miles in 6.5 days. You will not regret booking this hotel.

I stayed twice separated by several days. The hotel is as is everything in this area which is part of the charm. My first room was comfortable and bath clean and functional. The second time I was in room 10 which is immediately off of the lounge. Everything was clean again but room gets noise from longe. The problem is that the bathroom is situated down a steep windy stair and the shower head in a spot where you’ll bump your head. The green sink, toilet, bidet, and tub are something to see but not in a good way. Clean.

The location is ideal if you like the left bank. There are lots of restaurants and shops nearby. The metro is close by too. We like to walk in Paris and this was the perfect spot to walk through lovely neighborhoods on our way to the sights.
It is an older hotel, but it was fine. We were three adults in a triple room. The room was small, but most Paris hotel rooms are very small. We had a great time in Paris.
