We were warmly welcomed with a welcome drink of sherry or whiskey. The room was very clean and close to the breakfast dining area. The breakfast is 5 Star featuring local products. The staff were very friendly and willing to share local information. Harbour House is very close to local restaurants and cafes and they are in walkable distance.

Property and rooms are clean. Breakfast was good as well. It gets 4 star for two reasons, small bathroom sink, I mean small, 1x1 literally, shower is inside tub for which you have to climb over 1.5 feet in bath tub, bath tub is located on a platform. There is literally no space between bathrub and Toilet. Unless u r a toddler, it will be impossible to sit on it. Lastly, only warm water in shower

If you are going to Ullapool, stay at Harbour House. Period. It's an easy walk to town, the views are absolutely gorgeous and the staff were wonderful.

We splurged and stayed in a loch view cabin and the minute we walked in thought, \"We could stay here for a few more days.\"

It's a bed and breakfast, so if you want it there are both full breakfast and continental style.

Our friends stayed in the main building and couldn't rave more.

Perfect stay for NC500

Cannot fault the Harbour Bed and Breakfast. It’s clean and comfortable and perfect for a stop off when travelling the North Coast 500. The breakfast was great just what we needed to start the day. Only thing I would say is the rooms are functional but not overly roomy. This was not a problem for us as we were aware this would be the case. But if you weren’t you may be disappointed.
Thank you Harbour B&B we enjoyed our stay and the complimentary sherry and shortbread was a lovely touch and much appreciated!

The location is pretty good here. It was disappointing for there not to be a bar for the evening, even if there is no restaurant. I think that’s an oversight in my opinion, but the business never claimed to be anything other than it is.

A dram on arrival was a nice touch with a shortbread biscuit, and breakfast was ok. Disappointing sausage!

Room was small, bed was small. Both were clean though and overall we enjoyed our stay.

Our room had a lovely view of Loch Broom. Breakfast was good. We did have a problem with the toilet in the ensuite but it was resolved quickly. Bedsheet was small and didn't tuck in at the foot or sides. Short walk to Ullapool restaurants. An OK 2-day stay.

We loved the friendly reception that we had on arrival.
Our room was clean and we had a lovely view over the loch. The bed was comfortable.
The breakfast was delicious and the staff friendly.
The B and B is very relaxed and the lounge is great for chilling with a drink. You are able to take your own drinks in.
The location is perfect for walking into the town.

There is nothing that we did not enjoy about our dtay and would recommend staying here whilst in Ullapool.

My wife and I rented a lochside cabin for 2 nights. Wow, it was so great. We loved the cabin itself, but we especially loved having our own patio and chairs to sit outside. We sat out there for hours. It was so peaceful watching the harbour and the boats coming and going. We sat outside and had beers and enjoyed the peace. Our only regret was only staying for two nights. We will be back!

Great communication from the hotel. I had email that the room is small but it wasn’t at all, very spacious bathroom.
Great welcome by Elena who was absolutely lovely and friendly. Nice touch to give us the taste of whiskey and sherry. The room was clean as anything and modern. It wasn’t the most spacious room but it was good enough. The view from the room was great too. If I say one negative, it was the breakfast. Good selection of everything. But our table had no butter and jam so we had to get it by ourselves from another table as the staff was busy. We ordered smoked salmon with scrambled egg but I wouldn’t recommend to put hot scrambled egg on top of cold smoked salmon…( im a chef)
Overall, we loved our stay and certainly would like to go back when we are in Ullapool again.

The room was stiflingly hot all night. There was no heater on in the room, but we were on the second floor and the heat must have been coming from the room below. Didn’t get 5 minutes of sleep. Couldn’t open the window because of swarms of Midges. Truly was a night from hell. Other than that the hotel was okay.

What an excellent find. We stayed only one night on the way to the Isle of Lewis. The room was comfortable with an outlook over Loch Broom. A warm welcome was given by the owner. This is not a criticism but merely an observation. You sent a letter via Hotels.com stating that the rooms are small. Well we disagree. We have been to numerous hotel over the years and your rooms, in our opinion are not small but comfortable, modern and spacious in comparison to some hotels we have stayed in. We suggest you may wish to have a rethink about your letter as this may put people off which would be a great shame as your B and B is excellent and a real gem.

We had a recent 2 night stay whilst waiting to cross over to Stornoway. Harbour House has a great location on the edge of Ullapool and we had a lovely view from our sea-view room.
The room was compact and functional but it all worked as it should and was very clean. We were greeted warmly upon arrival and the staff throughout were all really pleasant.
Ullapool is a lovely little town, we had some lovely walks and there is a great choice of pubs, cafes and fish and chip shops in the town. Well worth a visit

A beautiful location right on the water! Incredible views from a lovely sitting lounge and from the deck.

Very easy check in, quiet and updated rooms and the breakfast was a selection of hot options and continental breakfast.

Lovely atmosphere with traditional Scottish music rather that the modern pop we heard in most restaurants.

We really enjoyed this location and would recommend it to anyone.

The property is well located, about a 10 min easy stroll along the waterfront to the harbour with good restaurant options close at hand. The large sitting area with a view of the bay is a perfect place for relaxing in late afternoon after a day of touring. Breakfast was substantial and very good!

I stayed in the smallest double room, and after the warnings about the size (property e-mailed me) I was worried, but it was actually fine for one on an overnight. For two you would struggle to find places for two large suitcases. The view of the harbour was fantastic. A short distance to Ullapool itself. Good breakfast and friendly service.
