We enjoyed our stalls at the Grand Poste Hotel - the staff were really helpful and friendly, the hotel itself was a charming building with lovely decor, the room was very clean and comfortable. The location was perfect, very easy to go out and explore Vienne, we had a great time seeing jazz around the city at night, a magical experience.

It's a three star hotel not a five star. It's old and creaky, but the staff are wonderful, good food, superb location and clean, neat and very attentive/helpful staff. If you want luxury triple your investment and travel 15 miles from the city center. But for me, it was quite quaint. I will go there from now on.

The staff were very accommodating and pleasant. Our room was small which was ok as that was what was explained. However the bathroom toilet needed to be repaired. The hotel was close to the station and restaurants. Overall we enjoyed our visit to Vienne. The bikes provided at the information centre were great for exploring the area.

The reception staff were super helpful. The lift worked. Our room was quiet.

Walkable everywhere and the Saturday market is on the doorstep.

We stayed 2-nights and the parking was super expensive - especially on-street parking outside the hotel - even the receptionist was stunned at the cost per hour.

We were advised of a cheaper option at the station but it was still 40Euro for just over 24hours.

It's an older-style hotel right in the middle of town. A bit of a rabbit warren of corridors and stairs. It needs renovating but there's some nice fun decorations and the welcome is friendly. Room was quite small.

It is a budget hotel, so don't expect much. It is convenient to the train station. The entry and lounge are very nice. The exterior looks inviting. The rooms are very small with tiny bathroom, but clean. The beds were not very comfortable. The walls were thin, the shower very tiny and slippery. The staff was very gracious and helpful.

Charming place to stay in Vienne

This is a charming little hotel in the middle of Vienne. It is perfectly located next to the train station and in the middle of town. The building is old but well-kept and the owners are really nice! Since it is an old building, many renovations were performed to improve comfort and accessibility. It is the perfect place to stay for a visit to Vienne.

This is a funky hotel in the middle of busy area- decorated with an eye to the unusual. It is easy to walk to most sites, museums and restaurants. Great automatic window blinds keep light and noise out. The owner is helpful and attentive. The breakfast is fantastic with great variety and quality.
The rooms are small, as is typical in old hotels. Make sure to request a room with a larger shower as some are tiny and difficult for a tall and/or heavy person to maneuver. Carpet isn’t our favorite in bedrooms or hotels, but everything seemed clean and aroma-free (allergic to most deoderizers).

A wonderful hotel in the center of town. Close to the train station and a covered parking garage. Wonderful staff is very helpfu and tries very hard to please.
Renovated rooms are large and comfortable in a modern way.

Very friendly staff, good breakfast, easy walk to the train station and to all the major sites around this charming historical town. There are lots of shops (including groceries) and restaurants of all kinds nearby. My bathroom was tiny and the room small, but everything was clean and comfortable.

The room was nice and clean and the window was covered on the outside so there was no view. The bathroom was very small. The hotel is located right by the train station and close to the Main Street where there are many mice restaurants and cafes .

Staff were helpful and friendly. Gave a great restaurant recommendation. Optional breakfast was a good buffet. Room was clean but small, which is typical for Europe. Very close to sites. Had to park in public parking garage just a few blocks away for 9 euros for 24 hours but it was very close. Hotel room was not expensive compared to most.

Very good location, but old hotel

Goof service, spoke both French (obviously) and English. But had a hard time explaining parking, and actually recommended a solution which would hve gotten me into trouble (I found out by chance) - but I do think that was unintentional. Very friendly though, especially with the children - made them feel at home. The CB machine (credit card) didn't work, and hadn't been working properly for two weeks, according to the staff, so I had to go to the local ATM to get cash to pay for the room. The room is old, with flooring that kills any attempt to \"silently\" make it to the bathroom during the night. It shows its age, but it is clean. The bathroom has been redone, in the last 5 years I'd venture a guess. Windows were really well sound insulated as the street outside is very busy, but we didn't hear anything. So, if older rooms doesn't bother you (as long as they are clean - as they were here) the price, staff and the very good location of the hotel makes it a good stay if you intend to be \"around and about\". I considered breakfast too expensive, and we ate ours at at one of the fine places in old town, just some minutes walk away. Oh and btw, parking is about €10 for 24 hrs, video surveillance, 200 meters from the hotel, next to the train station.

Great hotel for a short break

The hotel was clean, comfortable and well-situated for the centre of Vienne. It was easy to reach from the railway station and staff were friendly and helpful, offering advice on good places to eat and welcoming feedback on restaurants and places visited.
We had a lovely and relaxing couple of days and we would recommend both the hotel and the city for a holiday break.

the hotel building is quite old, and lacks some modern comforts - but the situation in the middle of town is very convenient - the worst aspect was the lack of parking spaces - we arrived during the Festival de Jazz and there was practically no parking available in the town - advance warning would have been helpful, and some facility to reserve parking would be a great help for strangers to the area.

Mon séjour au Grand Hôtel de la Poste a été un vrai plaisir du début à la fin. L’emplacement est idéal Le bâtiment, est décoré avec goût, mêlant élégance et atmosphère chaleureuse.

Chaque membre du personnel est serviable, souriant et très attentif ; on se sent tout de suite bien accueilli. La chambre que j’ai occupée était confortable, propre, calme, avec tout le nécessaire ce qui rend le repos parfait. Le petit-déjeuner mérite un coup de chapeau : très copieux, varié, mettant en avant des produits locaux, parfaitement préparé.

En résumé : excellent rapport qualité/prix, ambiance conviviale, et tout ce qu’il faut pour un séjour réussi. Je recommande vivement !

Un grand merci à Emilie qui nous a accueillis très chaleureusement elle a été parfaite du début à la fin de notre séjour !

La sdb (la douche en elle-même) n'est pas plus grande de 0,25m2, le lit dit double es certainement un lit double pour des personnes ne mesurant pas plus de 1m.
Bref un ensemble qui se veut cosy, mais qui est surtout une usurpation en terme de rapport qualite prix à 80€ la nuit.

Déplorable. Impossible de se garer après avoir fait 3 x le tour du quartier. Nous avons du continuer notre route pour trouver un hôtel plus loin. L'hôtel n'a pas accéder à notre demande de remboursement, malgré que tout ceci était indépendant de notre volonté, puisqu'il y a avait une manifestation que l'hôtel a omis de nous signaler.

Sehr nettes Personal und ein Sternewürdiges Frühstück, z.B. mit der besten Konfitüre Frankreichs etc. sehr cooler Vintagestyle, die Zimmer sind einfach und klein, aber mehr als Schlafen braucht man ja nicht. Ein kleiner Innenhof mit Lounge zum Entspannen. Ein etwas anderes Hotel für die, die nicht auf globalisierte Massenware stehen.

Wir wurden sehr freundlich begrüßt, hatten ein kleines, aber sehr sauberes Zimmer. Das Bett war sehr bequem.

Unsere Fahrräder konnten sicher in der Garage parken.

Und klar, das Hotel liegt in der Stadt, dass es dort nicht immer Muxmäuschenstill ist, muss man erwarten

Très bel hôtel de caractère, qui a gardé son style des années 50-60, avec un mobilier décoratif de la même époque ou voir plus ancien (par exemple une ancienne machine à coudre Singer à commande mécanique à pédale).
Chambre spacieuse et bien équipé. Idem pour la salle de bain. Propriété impeccable.
Localisation très pratique, car très proche de la gare (5 min à pied).

Avec un chauffage sous forme de climatisation réversible. Vous devez choisir entre mettre du chauffage ou dormir dans le froid car le ventilateur est extrêmement bruyant. De plus un petit déjeuner à 14,50€ vous refroidit bien !!!

Es ist ein in die Jahre gekommenes Hotel, aber ganz ok. Parkieren kann man im etwas engen Bahnhofparking und am Schluss mehrere Tage kummuliert bezahlen. Viele Retaurants für viele Geschmacksrichtungen und Budgets in der unmittelbaren Umgebung. Am Grossen Samstagsmarkt fand ich genau die Freizeithose, die schanon lange suchte.

Hôtel miteux comme rarement vu, salle de bain microscopique avec douche absolument minuscule on se cogne partout et l’eau est ou brulante ou froide et sort en un mini jet de la douchette oubliez le lavage de cheveux.
Aucune asonorisation on entend tout, ceux du dessous, du dessus, de dehors, du couloir, de partout.
La chambre est d’un autre temps, sol sale, moisissures au plafond.
Ça dit 3 étoiles à l’entrée de l’hôtel je ne vois pas comment même 1 pourrait être attribuée je pense que ça date de l’ouverture de l’hôtel il y a 50 ans.
Son seul et unique intérêt réside dans sa situation juste à côté de la gare et proche du théâtre antique pour les concerts.
Prix prohibitif de 90€ la nuit alors que ça n’en vaut pas 50€. Je déconseille très fortement cet hôtel.
