Grand hotel Cappuggi did not disappoint. I stayed with my 3 children for 10 nights end of june , start of july. Very reasonably priced 4* hotel experience haf by all. A little out of town (2 miles) but free shuttle bus (or taxi if not available) shows excellent customer care. Receptionists very helpful, cleaners nice and cheerful. Fabulous swimming pool essential in 38° temperatures. Football and tennis available. Ball provided keeping my boys well entertained. Thiroughly recommend this hotel as a point from where to explore Tuscany and further afield.

The unit we rented was an apartment style with one bedroom and sofa bed. That part of the hotel was brand new and beautifully done. Very quiet and dark in the evening. Very close drive to go up into the hills where there are little villages and many olive trees! Pistoia is a cute old town, which was a 10 min drive from the hotel.

Country feel to this charming hotel,

Although only minutes from downtown, this had a great country feel, nestled in an old olive grove. Busy pool , bar and dining room. Very nice breakfast. Hotel offers shuttle bus to drop you off in town and then pick you back up. We flew in from Canada and used it as place to get over jet lag..without being in a big noisy city...we loved it.

good location, great place to stay

the location is amazing. we were in a superior room called \"IRIS\", with a view o the Tuscany landscape. the room itself was wide, very good furniture. the bathroom was outstanding,all in white marble, with a wide shower . coffe and tea were complimentary, as well as all sort of beauty sets.
Breakfast was with a big choice. th elocation , just outside Pistoia is very good to visit Lucca, Collodi, Monevarchi etc. the swimming pool is nice. we'll come back

Relaxing Hotel 1 mile from Pistoia.

Good Hotel, that's a 1.6 km from Pistoia centre, but has its own pool and restaurant facilities so you have everything at the hotel, the buffet breakfast was good but the wifi was only OK in the room but available at the pool area. The hotel provides a free shuttle bus into town which is needed if you don't have a car and there's free parking.

Hotel was great although the location was inconvenient and a little far from the centre of town (about 25 mins walking). The food at the onsite restaurant was some of the best we had in Italy. Highly recommend if you stay at Villa Cappugi.

Excellent alternative to staying in Florence

chose this hotel to avoid staying inside Florence and it was the right decision. 1 hour from Pisa and just 30 mins from downtown Florence, this was like having a little home on our trip. Excellent staff and nice hotel in a very traditional Italian town with less tourists, great trattorias and views of Tuscany.

Relaxing Retreat

Hotel Villa Capuggi is a wonderful place to go if you would like a relaxing trip to Italy. The hotel is very clean, and the larger rooms are comfortable (but the classic rooms are very small). The staff is extremely nice and polite, but the hotel does not have many American visitors and even fewer who do not have a car (which we did not). There is public transportation, and we made an adventure out of using it, but it was a bit difficult to get consistent information from the hotel staff regarding the transportation. The pool and restaurant at the hotel are lovely, but bring your own beach towels, as they cost money to \"rent\" and you can't bring your room towels. The food at the restaurant is delicious, but expensive. If you are adventurous, you can find many great restaurants in downtown Pistoia. Pistoia is a wonderful place to stay if you like being away from other tourists and want to have a genuine Italian experience.

Lamentablemente teniamos 2 noches en una habitacion cuadruple de lujo y la primera noche nos dieron una doble con dos camas adicionales imposibles para dormir. No teniamos ni balcon doble ni vista a la montaña ( el balcon tenia vista a una escalera de urgencia), el aire acondicionado no funciono y el baño ni tenia la bañera prometida para una habitacion de lujo. Luego de reclamar el segundo dia, nos dieron la verdadera habitacion argumentando que el dia anterior no tenian otra para darnos porque estaba completo. El desayuno si era muy bueno y todo era muy limpio.

Nous avons logé dans la villa, la chambre était immense et très bien décorée. Nous avons profité de la piscine, du bar et du parc verdoyant. Le petit déjeuner est complet et de qualité. Le personnel est disponible et très serviable. Ce qui nous a manqué, un micro onde libre d’accès et des dosettes de café dans la chambre.

Super bra lägenhet med tyst o fin AC. Stor balkong, fräscht. Bra kylningens, åt frukost på hotellet en dag, sedan ordnade vi egen istället. Bra pool, nära till mycket och perfekt avstånd för utflykt till Pisa och Florens mm. Familjen trivdes bra. Sköna sängar. Vi reser runt i Italien och valde stanna 3 nätter här.

Det enda som var störande var att städpersonalen pratade och lät väldigt mycket ganska tidigt på morgonen ute i korridoren.

Ottimo hotel alle porte di Pistoia

Il Grand hotel Villa Cappugi, sj yrova a circa 2 km dal centro di Pistoia, raggiungibile, comunque, a piedi. La struttura, in stile toscano, è confortevole e di gusto. Il personale è gentile e disponibile. Il parcheggio è comodo e ampio. La colazione è ricca, sopratutto per la parte dolce. Nel complesso c'è anche la piscina, il campo da tennis e un ampio parco lussureggiante. Da ritornarci con la bella stagione.

This is a new hotel in the outskirts of Pistoia. This is no disadvantage, as Pistoia is a rather small town. All amenities are excellent, as is the service. The restaurant provides excellent food at reasonable prices. All in all an excellent choice.

Fomos muito bem recebidos. A atendente do check-in foi muito simpática e nos explicou tudo direitinho. O hotel é lindo e confortável, o café é maravilhoso. Ganhamos de cortesia uma bebida por hóspede no bar. ( acabamos não pegando e quando estávamos saindo ofereceram coca e água para levar no lugar. Está a 45 de carro de Florença e pertinho para prestarmos homenagem aos soldados brasileiros que lutaram e morreram na segunda guerra mundial.

Hat ein sehr schönes Grundstück. Die Zimmer sind auch sehr schön. Beleuchtete Parkmöglichkeiten gibt es ebenfalls auf dem Grundstück. Ob diese Videoüberwacht sind weiss ich nicht, da ich nicht drauf geachtet habe.

Nice room, a few of the rooms dere renovated but the room we got was smaller than described. We had several visits in the restaurant but only first visit was ok. The restaurant tok Euro 2,50 for skating per person. We got a basket of dry bread, no plates, no oil/salt/peppar…potatoes were dry and the steak was served cold… also service were slow except first time…

Hotel molto scenografico ma è per lo più apparenza.
Intanto all'arrivo ho ricevuto un presunto upgrade della camera da deluxe a junior suite come utente gold. Peccato che la camera fosse tutto tranne una junior suite. Infatti non aveva 2 vani ma uno solo, quindi era semplicemente una camera un po' più grande.
Poi mi chiedo: è possibile che in una camera di 40 mq non si trovi lo spazio per un tavolo-scrivania per permettere ai clienti business di lavorare con il pc? Niente, tutti i ripiani erano occupati o dalla televisione o dal bollitore dell'acqua.
Poi mancano prese elettriche, ce n'era una sola libera ma ovviamente si può caricare solo un apparecchio alla volta.
Poi mancava un cestino per i rifiuti in camera, c'era solo uno microscopico in bagno.
Insomma, camera totalmente da rivedere. Può andare bene per chi viene a trascorrere un fine settimana in piscina, non certo per chi viaggia per lavoro.
Colazione discreta, ma prodotti non sempre di qualità. Esempio, marmellate e creme spalmabili industriali in grandi barattoli con dosatore non si possono vedere in un hotel 4 stelle.
E vogliamo parlare dei prezzi? Totalmente fuori mercato.
Forse si punta sul fatto che è l'unico albergo di Pistoia con una parvenza di allestimento business, anche se questo è tutta un'altra cosa

Camera microscopica per un hotel 4 stelle che vanta di definirsi business: non c'era neanche un piano di appoggio per il computer portatile!
Consiglio una ristrutturazione.
Anche la pulizia da rivedere.
Colazione discreta ma non si capisce perché si devono rincorrere i camerieri per avere una bevanda calda... dovrebbero essere loro a servire i clienti!
Parcheggio auto completamente esaurito da non si sa quale evento.
Prezzo decisamente troppo alto per il tipo di camera e per i servizi.
