The bed is comfortable with great pillows. The towels are amazing. Front desk is friendly. Only issue is the ants. The bathroom had a lot of ants and the room had some, even in our bed. After showers there would be puddles of water outside the bathroom door and ants going crazy.

Large and spacious, but dated and poor food choice

Very large and spacious hotel, although it is quite dated in your hotel room and beyond the entrance and communal spaces.
The service was great on the front desk, especially from the young gent working there, and the bar service was fantastic all the time 🌟
However, unfortunately the breakfast restaurant service was horrendous, and the food options very unimaginative and poor. I literally couldn't eat anything but fruit, so I went hungry every morning. The staff said they would let me know if they had anything without milk and eggs, then just didn't come back over. Most times in the hotel, they couldn't provide food other than nuts and olives, nices ones at least, but again, very poor for what should be the better hotel in Ceuta. I can't recommend this hotel, especially to anyone with allergies and food intolerances.

We always look forward to staying in a Parador as a treat. Unfortunately this one does not live up to the Parador name. The beds are comfortable but the room was scruffy with worn out furniture and the carpet in the hall was very stained. The bathroom was also tired. There was an issue with parking as this is one of the main reasons we booked this parador. There just doesn t seem to be enough , but I don’t suppose much can be done about that. The staff on reception and cleaning and pool staff were really helpful, friendly and faultless. The pool and pool area were clean. It is in an amazing location.

The service was appallingly rude. No one smiled and acted like it was an inconvenience for them to be working.

Wifi would only work on one device at a time and to use the tv you needed it connected to a device.

No effort to help.

The hotel itself is ok but needs an update but the staff make this one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in.

Awesome location in a cool city

We visited overnight as part of a longer trip. The hotel is older but very clean and beautiful. Breathtaking views and a very walkable location. We walked from the heliport in about 20 minutes and the walk from the cruise port is only about 5-10 mins. Lots of shopping and dining close by and a beautiful beach is less than a 5 min walk.

We enjoyed our visit and would stay here again.

This was a very comfortable hotel, better than we expected. There was no soap or shampoo in the dispensers in the shower and a couple English TV stations would be nice. Other than that it is in a great location, parking is free in a city where parking can be quite a challenge. We will probably stay there again.

The only thing I would say was great was the location.. not far from anywhere in Ceuta. The very dated and in need of a refurbishment .. It reminded me of a hotel from the 70s. The staff were generally pleasant but did not go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The tv lacked english language channels and the balcony was a good addition if only the doors would closed properly and not made of single glass which made them very flimsy.

When we checked in we were given a room with two single beds when we wanted a double. They said there were only 4 rooms with double bed IN THE WHOLE HOTEL of 200+ rooms!!!!!!!!!!! And we paid 15 Euros more for the two beds than the rooms with a double.
So just be aware that the information about the hotel was misleading in that you would think a hotel that size would have many more double beds.

The hotel is in a good location but at the moment they are digging up the street in front of the hotel. The hotel itself is in need of a complete refurbishment. I can’t remember the last time I stayed in a 4 star hotel with room actual keys and a big brass fob.

Magical stay on historical murals

This hotel was located on the historical Royal Murals of Ceuta. While it is a bit outdated, it is beautiful. It's located near everything in Ceuta and the views from the hotel are breathtaking. We loved it so much we extended our stay there by a day.

I was not happy about the hotel at all. It was not even comparable to the most basic of motels in the United States. I recommend anyone going to Ceuta to stay at the Tryp Hotel instead.

Great hotel but over-priced

The A/C leaked a puddle of water overnight righ into my suitcase...what a hassle to dry everything. The double bed is really the typical European two beds pushed together but they don't bother to change the comforter so why bother to push the beds together? Location is fine but worth less a night for it's age. The bars are empty until 1am in the surrounding area and the stores are closed on Sunday.

La experiencia ha sido irregular. El trato del personal de recepción es desigual: he tenido tanto interacciones muy correctas como otras bastante negativas.

La decoración de las zonas comunes resulta mediocre, propia de un hotel sin identidad ni alma. En las habitaciones, además, el mobiliario no solo es poco atractivo, sino que se encuentra visiblemente deteriorado.

Es una lástima, porque el edificio y su entorno merecen mucho más. Creo que el hotel debería recuperar una decoración acorde al lugar en el que se encuentra y al estilo del arquitecto que lo diseñó con tanto acierto a finales de los años 60: menos estructuras añadidas en las terrazas y un mobiliario con carácter, cuidado y coherente con su esencia original.

Sehr gute Lage, schöner Poolbereich. Zimmer alle mit Balkon und ausreichend Platz. Strand und Zentrum fußläufig. Zustand und Inventar ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen. Personal beim Frühstück etwas überfordert. Sehr hellhörig.
Insgesamt trotzdem ein sehr schöner Urlaub.

Great Location and Friendly Staff, But Hygiene Needs Serious Improvement:

I recently stayed at this hotel and really appreciated some aspects of it. The location is excellent — just a short walk to the beach and close to all the good spots, so there was no need to use the car. The pool was very clean and enjoyable, and the staff were friendly and welcoming.

However, the hygiene and housekeeping services left a lot to be desired. There were ants in the room, and when wiping the floor with a tissue, it turned black — clearly indicating it hadn’t been cleaned properly. The conditioner bottle didn’t work, and although housekeeping came the second day, they didn’t restock the toilet paper and left only two towels for three guests.

The most unacceptable issue was the state of my son's bed, which had a visible menstrual stain — something that should never happen in any hotel.

Overall, while I enjoyed the location and some aspects of the stay, I hope the management takes cleanliness more seriously and improves housekeeping standards.

Plage immédiatement accessible à pied aussi et parking sécurisé pour les motos.
Petit déjeuner bien.
Propreté ok. C'est un peu vieillissant mais rien de méchant.
Tarif consommation minibar excessif en revanche, 3€ les 70cl d'eau minérale.

Un très bon accueil. La reception est au top avec du professionnalisme, parlant plusieurs langue. Une propriété et un entretien constant de l'établissement en gardant les vestiges d'antan. Cela fait plus de 20 ans que je vais dans cet hotel quand je passe par Ceuta et toujours satisfait.

Leider war an drei von vier Tagen kein Internet verfügbar.
Hier hätten wir uns eine Gegenleistung in Form eines Frühstücks oder Mittagessen gewünscht.

Notre séjour s'est bien passé, le personnel est très accueillant et à l'écoute. l'emplacement de l'hôtel et TOP avec une vue imprenable sur lamer, la place des églises et sur la piscine.

Déficit d’esprit commercial.
Etablissement assez conforme aux standards 4*. Accueil courtois, lobby spacieux quoique suranné, chambre plutôt confortable, linge de qualité, fournitures courtoisie généreuses.
Moquette couloir rebutante, parking gratuit mais négligé, absence de plan d’évacuation d’urgence, exit répertoires TV / tel, des clous sur les murs, déconnexion des chaines TV marocaines.
Pour l’esprit commercial il faut repasser. En effet, pour 2 nuits extensibles, j’avais réservé et payé 4 ch dont 2 avec enfants et sans pdj. Le décès du papa de l’un des voyageurs ns a ramenés à 3 ch sans enfants. Toutes les accommodations proposées alors à l’hôtel furent refusées sans discernement, même si elles avaient engendré des ventes de pdjs et une prorogation de notre séjour.
Moralité, cet hôtel sera rayé de mon carnet d'adresses car ses gestionnaires ne savent point sacrifier un œuf pour avoir un bœuf.

séjour en demie teinte...

A notre arrivée, notre réservation ( 2 chambres, 5 nuits et 5 personnes) n'était pas enregistrée et donc inconnue de l'hôtel! sur mon insistance, elle a été retrouvée au bout de 10 minutes! ils ont reconnu que l'erreur venait de leur système informatique. l'hôtel était complet pour la première nuit, mais il a pu être mis à notre disposition une chambre triple dans laquelle des lits ont été ajoutés. A la fin du séjour, j'ai demandé la déduction de la première nuit puisque j'avais payé d'avance l'intégralité du séjour, ce qui m'a été refusé! j'ai protesté en vain...
en complément, j'ajoute simplement que l'hôtel est vieillot, non renové depuis sa construction dans les années 60 (moquettes sales et hors d'âge, huisseries et serrures vétustes).
les points forts sont sa situation en plein centre ville, du port et de la plage, sa belle et grande piscine, son personnel agréable.

Fint gammalt hotell med oslagbart läge mitt i stan. Bra service där de lät mig förvara väskan hela dagen efter utcheckning. Fin utsikt över havet, man ser Gibraltar i bakgrunden. Enda negativa är att det är extremt tunna väggar / mycket lyhört.
