The spa and hotel are absolutely beautiful. We stayed for three nights and had a wonderful time. The spa facilities are immaculate and varied and never felt crowded. Our room was comfortable and spacious. There are lots of lovely touches such as the spa toiletries in the room and the included aperitif (free flowing prosecco and nibbles). The only slight drawback for us was the evening restaurant- the food was richer than we were looking for and a little bit pricey. But this did not detract overall from an excellent stay.

This hotel is all about their spa services. We booked a room that offered us access to the thermal path. The large outside pool overlooks the mountains which is breathtaking. The many heated baths and saunas are very enjoyable. The main reason to stay here would be for those services. If you want something to eat other than what is offered at the hotel restaurant, you'll need to drive into Bormio. Parking is okay in that area. Most everything you might want to do will require you to drive to it.

Very nice facility and view but not enough attention is given to the hotel portion with very little staff. The parking is extremely difficult to find and in a very tight space. They should have a vallet service given the difficulty. Also, lunch and dinner are not very good.

What a magical place this was. My wife and I got to stay here for a night on our anniversary trip through Italy and I wish we would have stayed longer. The various areas to explore were really interesting. The staff was extremely friendly and the room was very comfortable.

Great hotel in the mountains to enjoy the thermal springs. There is no permanently manned bar/restaurant for drinks outside mealtimes. Rooms a nice but there is little soundproofing in the corridors so you can hear other guests out and about but that’s due to the age of the building I guess.

Unique, amazing place with the history. Classic rooms are quite small and without nice view (you can extra pay for a wonderful view), but it was not a problem for us. Good free frequent shuttle buses to the ski slopes, fantastic experience with ancient termes, very good breakfast (with fresh juices and prosecco :D). Nice and helpful staff. Highly recommended! Between 08.00 - 10.00 you can enjoy termes with only hotel guests, from 10.00 it is open to the public.

Amazing spa hotel . Its located high in the mountains overlooking the bormio town. Awsome views. Its a old property converted into a hotel. Its has a very good spa area , an experience for spa enthusiast. I stayed in the suit room, it was very nice, great views.

Note there's no difference between the massages. The \"de-contracting massage\" was identical to any regular full-body massage, and doesn't focus on the \"shoulders, back and spine\" at all.
Booked the \"Junior Suite\", but it seemed very small.
Spa & Sauna facilities are excellent, and hotel guests have exclusive access from 8AM-11AM before the general public are allowed in. Buffet breakfast/lunch/dinners were pretty good quality.

Pretty amazing place - huge variety of pools, tubs, saunas all in a spectacular and historic setting. Incredible view from spacious rooms. Main downside was that the only dining option at the hotel was the buffet dinner. We did not at all feel like stuffing ourselves after the relaxing baths so went to bed a bit hungry rather than waste 38 Euros each on the spread. Some light meals available in the bar - eg a bowl of soup, would be much more in keeping with guests needs. Breakfast excellent.

no exclusivity, lying about the 2 restaurants (only one room used for breakfast buffet and dinner buffet, no other food choices), cattle market with thousands of day time spa tourists, dirty water in the spa with bits floating in it, Italian guests over international ones clearly favoured, no parking spaces due to the daytime spa tourists, rooms are small and damp. Little value and big disappointment for the money. And every free surface is used to advertise their spa products.

Overall the staff were friendly, efficient and service minded. My only small complaint is that with meals we had from the restaurant and with our room service were a certain price on the menu but when we came to pay the bill they were considerably more.

Amazing hotel on Passo Stelvio.
This hotel is just stunning. Based on lower climb of Passo Stelvio. Thermal baths and pools are just amazing to spend some time in after a long day riding bikes. Breakfast is included in the price. Love this area.

Romantic Mountain Spa Retreat
An old hotel built into the mountain side. It could use some TLC for wall treatments that appear classic but very old. Our room was quite nice, They have a variety of special spa rooms and an outdoor pool with hot water where you can luxuriate until 8pm --the view over the mountains and valleys was lovely. For dinner only one option -- a fixed price menu, on the expensive side but with more courses than we could eat. Food and service was very good. If it had not been so expensive, we would have stayed at few more nights.

Enchanting hotel in an idylliclocation
We stayed at this hotel as it is in a convenient location for driving up the Stelvio Pass. We arrived at the hotel and were instantly wowed at the panoramic views across the valley. Unfortunately the view out of our room was of a car park but when we asked for a room with a view of the valley, they kindly ungraded our room without charge! All of the rooms had wonderful extras such as a Dior goody bag and a coffee machine that you could use for both tea and coffee. We were able to use the spa facilites at Bagni Vecchi as well as their sister hotel, Grand Hotel Bagni Nuovi, and both were fantastic! The spa at Bagni Vecchi itself features a great outdoor pool and a thermal cave that's inside the mountain! Dinner from the hotel restaurant was delicious too. We would definitely recommend this hotel to others!

Utterly unique experience. A mountain spa, beautifully minimally decorated. Ancient as the Romans - it was hundreds of years old when Leonardo da Vinci visited. Views you cannot beat, fabulous food and more spa facilities than you could use in weeks

Eravamo già stati a tutte e tre le Terme di Bormio, ma troviamo che i bagni vecchi sono i più affascinanti.

Tutto bene, ottimo hotel, ma con la SPA nel week-end molto, troppo congestionata, ad ogni ora.
Deplorevole poi che non sia stato riportato il fatto che un'ala dell'albergo era in ristrutturazione, con lavori in corso ovviamente rumorosi e fastidiosi.

Struttura molto suggestiva, da anni e’ il mio punto di riferimento, la piscina esterna è il fiore all’occhiello! Molto gradito upgrade con una camera più grande. Camera moderna, letto molto comodo (uno dei più comodi che abbia mai provato), colazione abbondante e varia con prodotti freschi. Personale cortese e disponibile. Punti negativi: parcheggio molto limitato, la cena è solo a buffet non c’è alla carta, ho avuto dei vicini sopra di me molto chiassosi quindi impossibile dormire la mattina (peccato)

La struttura è bellissima e ben tenuta. Incredibile la posizione, praticamente inglobata nella montagna con una visuale mozzafiato sulla vallata. La camera era spaziosa e comoda, il servizio in camera non è da 5 stelle ma da 6, passano 2 volte al giorno e nel secondo giro pomeridiano c'è sempre qualche coccola, un profumo da provare, una maschera per la faccia etc. etc. I bagni termali sono sempre puliti. Insomma 10 lode. Il pranzo è a buffet leggero e sano, da fare!

2 giorni a febbraio, con la neve intorno, magnifici, in una location storica di montagna perfetta . Bagni termali nelle vasche all'aperto stupendi, con gli stambecchi che pascolano vicini ,immersi in un panorama mozzafiato. Senza mai annoiarsi, anche per tutto ciò che é offerto nelle strutture interne con vasche, saune, stanze relax olfattive ecc. Ottimo pure il ristorante,
