The rooms were good size and were nice and clean. The beds were comfortable and the motel was very quiet. The staff was very helpful any time we needed anything. I would caution people with mobility issues about staying on the second floor as the stairs are very long and steep. Overall we enjoyed our weekend at this motel.

The description on the property website does not reflect the actual condition of the property. Very run down. It would be a great property if someone would update and show some pride of ownership.

Then to charge $24 for one small dog. That is ridiculous. The security of the property was questionable. I would not recommend nor will I stay at this property again.

The pool is not open & appeal s not to have been for years. The tub was dirty. Overall cleanliness was only ok. General upkeep could use some improvement. The bed & pillows were fine, other than the bed shaking every time someone walked by outside, I slept fine.

We loved our stay definitely will be back. For our family its perfect we stayed for 2 nights had access to docks we love fishing so we were able to fish both days. Also before arriving i called to ask about having a room on the first floor because of my knee still recovering from acl surgery. Not only did they give us a room on the first floor, the room had a small kitchenand a livingroom area perfect for my kids. 💙

Lakeshore Inn us a very good place to stay. There are a few issues but overall I give it an 8.5/10.
The key-in system is unusual (a code instead of a physical key or card). At furst u was leery but in the end I liked it. The doors are a bit dated but the place is quiet and safe.
The wifi is rather week but the cable is nice.

Super clean room. Comfy clean bed. And half the price of the other hotels around. We only needed a place to crash and a ki g bed and this place worded great.

We were a bit skeptic on it based on some revbut took a shot. The property is old , dated and run down but the room was clean. Heat and AC worked. And they had lots of pillows which we like for sleeping.
Staff isnt super friendly but for that price whatever.

The bed was clean and comfortable. But little attention to detail. Venetian blinds were in poor repair, with no black out curtains, let in the outdoor lights so the room never got dark. Only 1 small soap about 2inch diameter. Carpet old, worn, and stained. Vanity sink-hot and cold water reversed. Coffee maker had no carafe. Very poor accomodation for the price.

The property is an older motel, at first glance I was thinking it’s another run down motel. However to my surprise the room was very nice, comfortable bed and away from highway traffic noise. If you’re looking for a quiet out of the way from traffic place to sleep for the night and not too expensive, this is the place!

I know they're in the process of fixing the place up, but there is a lot that needs to be done. If you follow the Google maps directions, you will end up in a gravel parking lot filled with vehicles that look like they have not run in years. Pulling out of that lot, you will find yourself in another lot with no lines marked on the pavement, one EV charger, set up only for Teslas, and a tiny office with no one in it.

Eventually, someone helped me and I headed to my room. On my way there, a gentleman who was working on one of the rooms engaged me in a conversation about how he was a busy bee. He told me what hours he works, and a number of other pleasantries that I neither asked for, nor wanted to hear.

My room was at the end of the hall, so only one neighbor on one side.. sadly, that neighbor was an industrial closet with a machine that made a very loud home for several hours.

The room itself smelled musty, and did not look like it had been refurbished since the 1970s. The television had satellite capacity, but very few channels.

Overall, I thought a place with ratings like these on this site would be so much better. This was very motel 6ish.

I recently had a disappointing and frustrating experience at Lakeshore Inn waterfront.I feel i have to share my experience preventing others from failing into the same trap.Lakeshore Inn failed to deliver on its promises, charged defrauding fees maintained unhygienic conditions & displayed a complete lack of customer service. Lakeshore Inn website was misleading, the photos & descriptions portrayed a clean well-maintained establishment but the reality couldn't have been further from the truth. Upon arrival it became apparent that the property housed long-term residents. This was not disclosed on the website. The room was dirty, bedding looked old & worn there was black mold in the shower the carpet was stained it was uncomfortable and unpleasant environment to spend time in.But the most frustrating aspect of my experience was the owners complete rude lack of willingness to address our concerns, when we asked for a refund we were met with a refusal to cooperate,mine you that all our concerns were brought up the first day there we lost alittle over1600 hundred dollars for 12 days and we weren't on vacation we were there to take our son to college. This level of customer service is unacceptable & demonstrates a complete disregard for there guest satisfaction.

I arrived at 2pm and my room was ready, yet they wanted to charge $45 to check in 1 hour early. I paid $196 for 1 night in a “lake view” room which is upstairs and your only view of the lake is obstructed by other buildings and trees. If you have a pet, expect to pay an additional $26. I wanted to support a local mom/pop establishment versus going across the street to the Best Western, but the poor customer service and high rates just left me disappointed and wishing I would’ve gone with a trusted name. The only positive was the linens smelled fresh and bleached, bed was soft and comfortable.

The place is very clean, room, bathroom, and grounds. The bed was comfortable. I knew from other reviews that property is dated, but all we wanted was a clean room, the last few hotels we stayed at were dirty, even though they had very good review and well over $100 a night. It seems that everyone is struggling to find good housekeepers/employees.
Will definetely stay here again. Recommend!!!

The check in experience was horrible I booked 2 rooms one in my name and the other in my sons name same last name they wouldn’t let me check him in to try and get the rooms close to each other then they couldn’t accommodate a senior on a lower level room had to take really steep steps as there is no elevator

The lakeside inn was a great stopping spot in travel for a good night rest and early leave for the price. Technically it is by the lake, yet the view is limited. This is an old motel where the owners are putting great effort to update the interior space. The exterior has seen better days. Yet, the bed slept well, it is clean, and met all our needs for a travel night.

Property was clean and quiet, but old and I’m sure need of an upgrade. The photos online of the lake made the “lake view” rooms appear to be right on the lake. They are not. You can see the lake from there, over the grassy area and empty swimming pool, past a couple of boat sheds and past the boat launch. Not a bad place when it was the only room available in the area but overpriced for what we got. Outdoor entrance, 1960s roadside motel vibes. No elevator, no ice machine, no pool or hot tub. Convenient location, clean and quiet.
