Property had everything we needed and did provide beach towels which was helpful. Location is peaceful. It is an easy 5 minute walk to the center of Pollonia. Everything in Milos is essentially 20 minutes away by car. Definitely rent a car. If you accept the property's offer to help you with a car, (they say they can get you a 10% discount) you must be comfortable with property providing no contact information for agency and Flora becoming flustered and irritated if you need to make a change and the car rental office is closed during its posted hours. She will assist you but her irritation is palpable. The gentleman, however, from the car agency itself is very accommodating and kind. Other staff at Domus Litus are very kind and quick to respond.

The property was perfectly situated on the north side of Pollonia for sunsets. Flora was the best hostess and gave us lots of tips for things to do, places to go and restaurants. We couldn't have loved everything more!

Our view here was 5 star! Our room & balcony was very clean…the maid worked extremely hard to keep all the volcanic dust off of the tile floors in the hallways and rooms. The location was good for walking around Pollonia. However we had cold showers for 3 out of the 5 nights stay. We notified the front office the first time. Apparently they have to flip a heater breaker for the water heater when the solar hot water runs out. The second time they had a new person and she didn’t know what to do but called on her cell for help. I waited an hour, but the water never got warm so I took another cold shower. I notified the regular reception person the next day and told her our flight would be early the next morning. She explained their solar water heater problem again and I was hoping she would make sure we had hot water. However she doesn’t arrive till later so we had cold showers the morning we were leaving again. Honestly this is such a simple fix…an automated switch can be put in so that a human doesn’t have to be present to get hot water to its hotel guests. I really liked this spot but other reviews mentioned the hot water problem. I wish we could have found another hotel with the wonderful water view.

Overpriced for what it is

Positive: Vicky at reception was lovely and very helpful. The room (No.3) was a good size, was very clean, and had quiet aircon. A gratis 500ml bottle of white wine was appreciated, as was the water and coffee pods which were replenished every day.
Negative: Room 3 ground floor balcony is adjacent to the main entrance to reception so affords no privacy. You have to keep the curtains closed all the time otherwise anyone passing can see in. Domus Litus (Beach House in Latin) is located on the north side of the Pollonia peninsula, and is exposed to the virtually constant wind of the Meltemi.
I dont think the cost of this room at around €180 per night warrants its location within the complex, the exterior facilities, nor the description 'luxury'.

The property has been amazing. So beautiful, close to the water. The receptionist, Chris, was outstanding! He was super attentive, hospitable, and kind. He made sure to give us his personal suggestions for our short trip and also let us know to reach out to him at any point during our stay (even gave us his personal number!). The room itself was very clean and had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. Breakfast was also included in the accommodation and it was healthy and delicious. The location can't be beat, and the staff are exceptionally welcoming, kind, and helpful. The minimal extra cost for the ocean view was completely worth it (I can't imagine traveling so far only to have a view of a neighboring wall!), and the balcony was great for your morning coffee. Everything was simple, modern, and very clean, from the room to the common areas. The included breakfast was well organized, generous, and included tasty local items.
The hotel is an easy 7-10 minute walk into Apollonia's waterfront area with lots of restraunts and little shops.

This property is wonderful! I would rate it as a boutique hotel at its finest! Excellent housekeeping and the Manager Christof was amazing! My phone died while I was there and he went out of his way to make sure I was ok and my family knew it! They give you a gift of wine and water and coffee when you arrive and they give you a gift when you leave. Christina the reception lady is very kind as well! Make this your choice! I would give them 15 out of 10!

Our stay at Domus Litus was awesome. The location is very quiet. Breakfast was good, and there's a restaurant behind the hotel that's 30 second walk (which is also where the breakfast was). The views and sunset was amazing, 4mins walk to pollonia beach, 6min walk to the \"main area\" where the bus stop is, pharmacy, grocery and many other food places. Chris, the property manager is AMAZING. We felt taken care of the entire time we stayed here.

Lovely, Family Run, Hospitable Stay

What an excellent stay. The accomodation is located a short stroll to the tavernas of Apollonia and only metres from the sea. Xristo made our stay especially hospitable and Mr Vangelli was very helpful to us. This is a perfect location to tour the whole island especially if you have a car available. If not the bus stop is conveniently located.

Veldig bra opphold!

Hadde et flott og avslappende opphold på Milos! Helt perfekt lokasjon til det lille sentrumet av Pollonia, kort vei til strand, supermarked og restauranter. Hyggelig vert som tok oss imot og var tilgjengelig hele oppholdet på WhatsApp for spørsmål eller organisering av taxi. Rent, rolig og hyggelig sted.
