Our initial room did not cool properly, when we asked to move they moved us to a room completely away from the rest of our group (we had 4 rooms booked) and stated that we weren’t guaranteed rooms together even when we asked to be even in a building next to them. The original customer service agent was rude and hung up on me however when I went to the front desk the gentleman working was very polite and placed me in a building next to my family. Overall I felt like the food was mediocre. The hibachi restaurant, the Italian and the steakhouse were good ( we didn’t try the Mexican) the appetizers at Route 66 were like typical American bar appetizers so if you’re craving American stuff head here. At the buffets I tried to stick to the fresh things (ie omelet or egg station, burger station, roasting station etc and felt like this food was the best). The wait staff was hit and miss. Some very good and others lacking. I felt the vibe was very 20 to 30s age range. Not a lot for Middle Aged or youth aged children. The beach was beautiful and there was an abundance of chairs and palapas to be under and they worked hard to keep it cleaned. The grounds were also kept very clean. Overall would not likely stay again.

Nuestra experiencia en el hotel fue buena en general y la pasamos muy bien en familia. El personal fue muy amable y atento durante toda nuestra estadía, algo que realmente apreciamos.

Sin embargo, entendemos que hay áreas que podrían mejorar, especialmente la limpieza de las habitaciones. También notamos bastante olor a humedad tanto en los cuartos como en algunas áreas del hotel. Sería excelente que mejoraran el mantenimiento y limpieza de los aires acondicionados, ya que el olor parecía venir de ahí en ocasiones.

Fuera de esos detalles, el ambiente del hotel estuvo bien y disfrutamos nuestra estadía. Con algunas mejoras en limpieza, olor y mantenimiento, la experiencia podría ser mucho mejor.

My friends and I went to the DR for our first time. It was a really good time. The workers were a bit rude and we felt like it was a burden to ask for anything. They ignored us most of the time not sure why. Our personal concierge was very friendly and nice his name was Ismael he helped us do reservations and find things out. Overall experience was okay/good. Not sure if I will come back to the DR after this, but they did have beautiful beaches and there was a couple of nice people

The staff were helpful and accommodating throughout.. The food was great, and the beach area was nice, although there was a significant amount of seaweed washed ashore.

On the downside, the property is quite old and appears to need maintenance. We encountered cockroaches in our room, and there was a noticeable moldy smell, which affected our overall experience.

Ocean blue nos encanta, somos puertorriqueños y este hotel siempre se ha caracterizado por su ambiente en el área del lobby y en esta vez me percaté que ya no ponen música en el lobby todo se concentra en el área del teatro que hace una calor horrible. Ya es tiempo que al lobby le coloquen también unos abanicos grandes en días de calor el demasiada la calor en el lobby. De lo de más todo espectacular este es nuestra vez número 5 en ocean blue siempre lo elegimos.

We recently stayed at Ocean Blue & Sand Beach Resort in Punta Cana, and overall it was a nice and comfortable experience.

From the airport, we took a prepaid taxi for $50 instead of the shuttle service. It was definitely worth it because it was much faster and more convenient. The drive to the resort took about 35 minutes.

The first impression at check-in was a little disappointing because we did not receive any welcome drink, and no one really welcomed us when we arrived. It felt a bit odd for an all-inclusive resort. However, the lobby itself was very large, beautiful, and comfortable. There is a nice bar in the center of the lobby which gives the place a warm and relaxing atmosphere.

Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a nice balcony. One thing I really liked about the resort design was the U-shaped layout. There are separate back roads behind the rooms that employees use, so guests can enjoy the main resort areas peacefully without too much worker traffic around.

One thing to be careful about is the timeshare presentation area near the main dining hall. Staff members may strongly encourage you to attend a presentation in exchange for gifts or discounts. Personally, we preferred to spend our vacation time relaxing instead of attending a 2-hour sales presentation.

The resort has several restaurant options, but overall the food choices felt somewhat limited, and most of the time we ended up eating at the buffet. Among the specialty restaurants, the Japan

My son and I spent 14 days recently at Ocean Blue. We were pleasantly surprised by how nice the property was. The staff was incredible. We enjoyed the shows, the food, and the activities by the ocean and pool each day. My only small complaint would be the gym. They could upgrade many of the machines and add treadmills and working elliptical machines. Everything else was great.

Todo estuvo bueno. ¡Ojo! Si reservas por expedia van a querer regalarte unos obsequios de bienvenida pero eso es mas bien para reunirte e intentar venderte un paquete de hospedajes mediante una charla que dura mas de dos horas, mucho cuidado.

Nos encantó el servicio del resort en general, sin embargo, queremos mencionar algunos aspectos de mejora

1. La estrategia de mercadeo de venta de paquetes turísticos no debe darse en los tiempos del turista, es decir, cuando llegó a un lugar como estos es a desconectar con todo y encontrar alguien que le demanda alrededor de 4 horas no es para nada grato.
Se y entiendo que es un negocio y que hay personas que viven de esta actividad y por eso siempre los escucho y atiendo con mucho respeto

2. Algunas personas del servicio en especial de los bares de la playa no son muy atentos y su disposición puede mejorar
En este aspecto quiero relevar la atención del señor que atiende en el bar principal ubicado en medio de los restaurantes
Es muy atento y formal

3. La atención de algunas personas del restaurante principal el bufete en general son muy atentos
Sin embargo, el servicio de los líquidos es muy demorado y toca persistir mucho para recibir el servicio

Love the Hotel! The pools the rooms and all they offer. The people are very welcome, kind and attentive. They were only a few thing bad that they can fix easily, the AC at the bowling place it was so hot, the clpsing time for the bowling place was very early leaving the kids with nothing to do at night and what I mean is for tennagers. The shows were very early so you enjoy the pool until 7pm that is the time they close

Las facilidades están muy bonitas. Pero nos hicieron perder 5 horas de ese primer día intentando vendernos un programa que ellos le llaman Privilege. Al no comprar la membresía de $20,000, se notó la indiferencia en el trato. Me sentí como que nos querían vender un timeshare. Otra situación fue que el concierge que nos asignaron, nunca contestó los mensajes de WhatsApp. La pasamos bien, pero prefiero darme la oportunidad en otra propiedad.

Excellent but I have a couple of suggestions . Swim -up bars are very crowded and noisy all the time. Even with the music playing we can hear some guest and some bartenders yelling and singing too loud . Entertainment are awesome but it will be great if the hotel design a quiet area for guest that want to rest ,read a book or just relax without noise or music. Just one area , so guest can choose where to go depending their demands . Thanks to Maurielys at the lobby bar, Juan at the buffet , Daniel ,one of the drivers , Ana the housekeeping and others that I dont remember their names , for making our vacation great . The food is amazing,lot of choices. The service is outstanding ,always with a smile on their faces. Thank you for the great work 😀

Overall my family and I enjoyed our stay. The resort was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The buffet was okay. I didn’t like the lack of pool side food compared to other resorts I’ve been to. I was also disappointed that the pool closes by 7 pm.

Property was 7/10 for me. They should announce or make it public to the people about the events they have for the week. The rooms were nice and clean. Might need a touch up in the bathroom. Food was amazing every day they had something new. Overall a nice experience.

Wait staff at margaritas, sports bar, Japanese restaurant, roue 66 were incredible!

Minimal stocking of beer in room even after request.

Lobby bartenders were fantastic. Love the guy who sings.

Bring a bunch of 1's and 5's some try to earn it and some won't serve you well without it as most all inclusive.

First and last time I ever come to this hotel horrible customer services at reception nobody was helpful manager didn’t do anything just brush me off I was supposed to get some type of upgrade either a room or premium bracelet since I’m a platinum vip member this hotel doesn’t provide any vip access or upgrade I got 70 dollar voucher in which I couldn’t use for anything useful I request a a certain room location with pool view didn’t get that I also asked if the room could get some type of decoration for a birthday occasion nothing was done mean while I look down the hall and some other room had a happy banner totally unacceptable customer service I was beyond mad oh let’s not forget my fridge wasn’t working on the first day had to wait over 4 hrs to get another fridge put in the room also the room safe malfunction had to get somebody else to come and fix it food was horrible especially in the buffet everyday is the same food and they bother you with the timeshare pitch they stalk and wait for you at the entrance of the buffet no fun pool activities drinks were really cheap and not good beach is small and full with sargassum one of the worst hotel experience I ever had never doing a ocean or h10 property again !!!

Una de las cosas es que compré con vista a la piscina y eso no sucedió, aunque le dije que fue lo que compré la recepcionista, que no fue muy amable, insistía en que estaba con vista a la piscina. Mi estadía era de jueves a domingo y el sábado en la mañana tenía una notificación que pusieron por debajo de la puerta, para que fuera a recepción, me indicaron automáticamente que tenía un balance, el cual no era cierto. Al final el gerente vino y me indicó que me estaban buscando para cambiarme de habitación de vista a la piscina. Le indiqué que mi estadía terminaba el domingo y que no valía la pena cambiarme de habitación cuando el domingo era mi salida.

The service in the sit down restaurants were really good except the Italian restaurant. Service in the buffet was horrible everyone we went no one would bring water to the table, would t ask if we wanted something to drink and rarely cleared the table of dirty plates. Pool service was ok. Staff in Route 66 and the Coffee shop were awesome every time we went. Rooms were big and spacious bed was comfortable. I wouldn’t stay here again though.

The food at the resort was amazing and was definitely the highlight of our stay. The restaurants offered a great variety of options, and the quality of the food exceeded our expectations.

However, compared to other H10 hotels we have visited, there were not many activities or entertainment options available throughout the day and evening. The resort felt much quieter and offered less to do than we expected.

There were also a lot of children throughout the resort, which may be great for families, but it was not the atmosphere we were looking for. Additionally, one of our rooms had a noticeable moldy smell that was unpleasant during our stay.

The staff was friendly, and the property was generally clean and well maintained, but the lack of activities, the mold smell in our room, and the overall atmosphere prevented this from being a higher-rated experience. Overall, the food was excellent, but there are several areas that could be improved.

We enjoyed our stay in this conveniently located and well maintained resort. Staff is friendly, food delicious and varied. The choice of drinks is great, including prosecco. The fire show was amazing and so much fun.The only thing they didn’t really advertise the evening shows well. We figured it on the third day lol. Also, the beach was not great as there were a lot of weeds. They tried to clean it but it still was a lot. It still was so much better compared to the hotel nearby.

Took our 16 and 18 year-old here with us. our 16-year-old had a fantastic time tending to his own wants and needs. The strikes building with the bowling, chess, pool, gaming, etc. was awesome for him and us at night after dinner. We loved that the gym was open 24 hours. There’s a great coffee shop named Mike’s that my husband and my six-year-old went to every morning around 7:30 and praised it every single time they came back. We utilized every restaurant there except for blue moon because it was an 18+ restaurant. Our favorites were the steakhouse and the Italian restaurant. We loved the two separate large pools and the closeness of lunch and the beach at the second pool. The entertainment was fantastic a constantly try to get everyone involved in scheduled events right by the pool. We enjoy doing noon aerobics every day in the pool even my 18-year-old. We actually never left the property and it was absolutely fine not doing so we did hear about many off resort trips from other guests, but decided to stay on property. What I do recommend is making sure that you have ample medication in case you get a gastritis issue we did utilize the clinic there. They did accept our insurance but you had to pay a $250 deductible that my insurance company will reimburse. They were great in there. Three of the four of us got sick. She gave us plenty supplies for three of us with only me being checked in for the one $250 deductible. I’ve become sick and many countries this was fantastic.
