Room was filthy with cockroaches and their families crawling all over the place. I did not dare sleep on the bed, which felt like it had linens that had not been washed. Urgh. Never ever again!

The hotel was not maintained properly, it looked old, , main door could hardly be opened, bathroom was really old, ceiling stained, pipe was almost falling off, had some bad smell near the lifts, basement parking was wet and no lift, nobody to help with luggage, breakfast was poor

Value does match the hotel

Hotel is an older hotel, but everything work. Bed is clean, underground parking. But inside the carpet is aged and has stain. Breakfast is included but could be better. The problem is the cover all open and nothing to keep the food warm. So all the food is cold. Coffee is cold also. But tea is good. For cooking the noodle, may be a electric cooker is better than LP one.

Nasi jagung or what nama dia..keras mcm nasi yg di panaskan semalam punya..katil berlekuk dah rosak,rasa spring teruk katil..breakfast lar paling teruk..memang TAK AKAN DATANG LAGI!!! Receptionist langsung tak senyum,muka ketat je..check in dan check out pun sama tak senyum..kalau dpt bilik no 403 sila lar tukar je sbb katil queen dia teruk sangat berlekuk siap rasa spring..so so so so BADDDDD

Front staff and counter not welcoming us as no greeting at all, looked at us up and down like we got nothing to spend. Swimming pool at within the same roof, so it will getting too noise if got kids play around/swimming. Room also not clean, as got many thing (food) stick at wall and quilt and bed sheet seems not clean.

Not for those who seek peace

The room is comfortable, but the bathroom is a bit small. Our weekend getaway was slightly spoilt by the noise made by children uaing the indoor pool. Thw not so friendly receptionist should ask whether we prefer a room at a higher floor, or at least remind us about the noise we were about to encounter. Plus, the hotel is very stingy with drinking water. For a hotel located at a place that manufactures Cactus drinking water, the hotel should at least provide water in a bottle instead of a small cup.

Misleading Advertisement

Not so good. We expected a better hotel condition as it was advertised as 3-star and with steep discount from RM200+ to RM130+. It turns out to be only 1.5-star hotel at most.So the advertisement was misleading. For a 1.5-star hotel, the condition would be ok...but for a 3-star, it is a real disappointment. Wifi was weak.

Best affordable hotel in taiping

Amazing experience. Comfy, cozy and affordable place to stay in Taiping. Booked for twin beds with breakfast. Got swimming pool which operates from 8.30am till 7pm. Near mosque, 7e, food court. Still in walking distance. Free secured parking under the building. Lots variety of food for buffet breakfast, worth it.

Personnel was very courteous, friendly and went out of her way to help me. Rooms were clean. Locked myself out and got instant key replacement. Electric kettle was not working , and got a replacement right away. Needed ice water for my drinking container without problem.Near downtown Taiping. Quiet area which was great. Comfortable bed. I had 2 twin beds A/C works great. Would stay here again. Great view of downtown.

I requested high floor but only 3rd floor available due late check in.

The door handle of my room was loosen and spoilt.
The meal dish of previous customer still place outside of room even though my check in time is 4pm.

The corridor lighting was off when I walk to room. The light was switch on after informed the maintenance staff

Positives:
Free and sufficient parking in and around hotel. Quiet location with great views of Maxwell Hill from balcony. Deluxe room is spacious and queen bed is comfortable. Room well equipped with fridge, coffee/tea making, iron & ironing board, hair dryer and disposable slippers. Free breakfast wiith good selection.
Negatives:
Hotel should change the worn and tired looking towels and bedsheets. Bathroom has no shower cabinet/partition so the floor and water closet gets wet after each shower

nice hotel, near to everything in taiping!

it was a last minute reservation due to a sudden passing of a relative in Taman long Jaafar, taiping. after a rushing frenzy of packing and the tiring journey to taiping, it was such a relief to be able to check in to a comfortable hotel such as this one. The facilities and necessities are all provided, and very satisfying for its economical price. The relative we are visiting is in taman long jaafar which is only 9 mins away from the hotel, plus the cemetary (tanah perkuburan Islam) is right behind the hotel. Although this is a bit of a sombre excuse for a trip, however, the location of the hotel makes it so convenient to pay visit both the family and cemetary.

Thank you so much Hotel Taiping Perdana for providing a comfortable stay.

Nice hotel room but no hot water

I had a standard room with a king bed. The room was very big. I could have had an extra single bed brought in. The air conditioner was powerful. The fridge was clean but needed to be cranked up to almost maximum to be cold enough. The bathroom was decent in size but there was no hot water whether I showered at night or in the afternoon. The bed and pillows were clean. The balcony opened up to a fabulous view of Maxwell Hill. There was no bedside lamp, so there was no way to dim the room and get ready to sleep. I either had a very bright room or a very dark room. I eventually kept the balcony lights on and switched off the room lights to have dim lighting in the room. I recommend this hotel if you don't mind having a shower with room temperature water.

shortage of car parking lots & feel worry about vehices that parked around the hotel due to no security men around. If it is designated parking areas with guard besides the underground car park cound be less worry for the customers.

The staff was helpful and friendly. Room and bathroom were very clean. Had hot water and good water pressure. Location was good, quiet yet not far from town centre. However, the room was very,very small. Very,very small. Parking was difficult wth very few bays. Pool suitable for kids only. WiFi useless. Only two very slow elevators.

We stay for 2 nights.
Breakfast was good. The chef is keep on look at the food and always asking the crew to top up the food when it's less or almost empty.
This hotel is suitable for business trip and also for those who want to spent time in the weekend at Taiping.

The hotel is actually very close to Taiping city, just about 5 mins drive. Though, the environment is quiet and relax. The indoor pool is very small, this may disappoint those who like to swim. The bed in the room is very comfortable, I like it very much. Overall, it is value for money.

The hotel is newish and I expected the room to be tidy and clean. The room was tidy since there was much in the room. But the walls were marked and the carpet was full of stains. My blanket covert had stains on it that turned me right off. Staff was great once I alert them to it the changed he cover for me.

Check in was relatively easy. The hotel is very old, although clean generally. Only the carpet needs better vacuuming. Can hear kids screaming from our room on the 6th floor. Paint coming off on the doors.

Stay was alright as staff were friendly. However no lift landing at basement carpark, making us having difficulty to carry our luggage via the stairs to the lobby.

Room has no privacy as we could hear the next door neighbours's talking. Can also hear children playing and shouting or people talking outside the corridor and common landing thus we couldn't have a peaceful rest.

A good bed in Taiping

I was attending a nearby rugby tournament my son participated. The hotel is a genuine 3 stars and I expected that and was not let down at all. Staff friendly and helpful, dining room fine for breakfast and dinner. The room was an executive suite and a clean small one bedroom apartment with small queen bed, no cable tv (that I found.... All good and would stay again.
