The room and facilities generally were quite good. However there was a bit of a smell emanating from the bathroom, which I suspect was due to poor drainage outside. The chap checking us in offered us discounts on wine but didn't say where breakfast was. Also the driveway to the reception is in urgent need of repair. Apart from those 3 issues the site was quite good

Filtered for hotels with pool and breakfast. Arrived and pool empty? Asked and guy said shouldn’t show on Expedia that has pool, so went back on Expedia app, filtered for pool only and hotel still showing????
Also other guests were less than ‘wonderful’. Didn’t even bother with breakfast to be honest. Just had family move to Bathurst and will go there regularly, but never to this hotel again.

The photos of the breakfast bar need updating. There was NO FRESH FRUIT (only canned fruit) and no individual butter/ jam packs, just a large container of margarine and bottles of jam which is environmental but NOT HYGENIC. Room was GOOD and as expected. Great pressure in the shower. The soap in the shower ran out of on second day which was annoying. AND only ONE towel rack in the BIG bathroom. How about adding some HOOKS ! One other thing, balcony is not very private, a kid from next door made his way into our room from the adjacent balcony.

Unfortunately, this was by far the worst experience we’ve had at any accommodation.

Lack of communication: There was no prior notice or communication regarding the check-in procedure, especially if we were arriving after the regular check-in time. When we arrived around 3:00 PM, there was no one at the reception, and we had to make a call to get assistance.

Unclean facilities: The kettle provided in the room was extremely dirty, and we had to call again to request a replacement.

Hygiene and safety concerns: The toilet was infested with small cockroaches, which were both unsettling and unhygienic. Additionally, I noticed that the fire alarm in the room was covered with cling wrap. I am concerned about the safety implications of this.

Room was clean and tidy with all the usual appliances, cutlery plates bowls etc. Larger room allocated in the back section that was quiet and comfortable. Good value with Al-a-Cart breakfast included that was more than sufficient to start the day. Would stay there again.

I didn't like the drive way which had lots of pot holes.
The family room we had was very old and rundown. The room didn't look like the pictures on the website.
There was no matress protector on the beds or pillow protectors. TV was not a smart TV. Windows didn't lock properly.

Do not waste your time & money with this motel. No lights in the bathroom so no one could see where they were going in the dark. Very dirty, ants throughout the kitchen, facilities including TV & internet kept switching & cutting off & not to mention bad pot holes leading to the rooms just to ruin your wheel alignment. Also a joke for free continental breakfast, all they was cereal & bread for toast which bread was rock hard & stale. Pathetic.

(To be fair we reached out separately to the hotel prior to submitting this to try and resolve our issues, however they never responded).

We were extremely disappointed with our stay. The disappointment extends not so much that these issued occurred, but more that, in spite of alerting you to these issues, very little was done to rectify the issues. Only when repeatedly requested was the bare minimum done.

Some really basic things that in any other accommodation would automatically be covered. No remote for the TV, no reception on most channels, no wifi available in the room, multiple times I asked for the soap and shampoo to be refilled (it never happened so i had to buy my own), I asked for housekeeping to make the beds (never happened), asked for pest remediation as room was FULL of bugs,(I had to do it in the end at my own expense), general cleanliness of the room (kind of addressed once, requested multiple times, the carpets and hard floors were disgusting), the smoke alarms were covered in plastic, We had to clean the pool before it could be used. On the last day breakfast was very late, to the point we nearly missed it due to plans for the day and no one answering the phone during hours. It felt like the rooms weren’t maintained after each guest, only the bedding changed (hopefully)

In all, our experience of your accommodation was terrible. Would most definitely never stay there again.

Can't rate as we did not take the trip due to a medical emergency. The Motel was phoned (after the cut-off date for refunds) to let them know that we wouldn't be coming. I had hoped that if they were able to let the room, that we might be offered a credit note.The weekend was going to be very busy with a large National Trust event happening, so I am sure the room was re-let.
\Anyway, no such offer was made. We get to Bathurst quite frequently, and our usual B&B is no longer available, so we were looking to find a replacement. Guess who has missed out!

This motel needs ALOT of work. The rooms are extremely run down and need a very thorough clean (don’t look under the beds - YUCK!). Rooms were not serviced daily as you would expect from a motel. For $240 per night I expect a lot better. Very basic breakfast and not very hygienic (tubs of butter, jars of spreads for everyone to share/use). Facilities around the motel in bad state too. The road in is full of potholes. Kitchen facilities are very poor. Plug for sink didn’t fit therefore couldn’t wash up. The sponge supplied was used and dirty therefore assume the utensils were not cleaned properly. No hot water to the kitchen sink. A strong smell of gas within the kitchen area as we were located close to the gas hot water systems. No fluorescence tubes in any of the bed lights. Would not recommend this motel to anyone until they do a very big makeover.

Great location to stay overnight.
Really wonderful that the property made an effort to supply the free breakfast to customers (this is mind-blowing for Australia).
The only thing they can work on is Internet connection. For 2023 offering unreliable internet at maximum 1Mb per second that does not even let you watch any video is ridiculous.

The property was clean and I upgraded to the refurbished rooms for $10 per night however when I went to have a shower on arrival there was no water due to work being done by local council. When speaking with staff they said sorry nothing we can do should only be a couple of hours. I then logged into WiFi on the room which had a weak signal and kept logging in and out. When i spoke with staff they said it's it working now? The breakfast was just boxes of cereal and a selection of milk. One fruit yoghurt, canned peaches and bread that could be toasted. Instant coffee and sour fruit juice. The walls are very thin and you can hear conversations in the next room. The outside railings are flimsy and would not pass safety standards. I stayed 2 nights and the water was turned off the second day also. Staff said they would leave a message for management to see if a reimbursement could be made for at least the upgrade of $10 per night for the problems encountered. On check out the staff member acted dumb and kept saying, that is refurnished room, we have no control over water or internet. I had to purchase my own bottled water for in the room. No happy.
