I liked that we could get a room at 8.30 pm.
Very tricky reception Chinese gentleman using translator app on phone. To communicate.
On arrival at room kitchen floor area was wet. All plugs removed from sockets. No electricity blankets. Plus the sheets felt damp. Ended up sleeping on top of bed. They do need to lift the standard. But for 85 dollars- can’t expect much.

Beautiful spot overlooking the caravan park, it’s cheap so it’s expected they have not put much work into it over it’s time.. bit old few ants but comfortable bed and staff were pleasant! Would recommend for the cheaper budget!

Parking was ok. Bed was ok. Location was good. The facilities were very poor, not particularly clean and the reception stunk of cigarettes. The amenities consisted of a small plastic bowl, 2 spoons, one teaspoon and two knives and forks. No cooking utensils or sharp knife. No laundry facilities and despite putting our please clean our room sign out, we had nothing done and dirty towels still in the bathroom. Air conditioning didn't work. The place would have been ok in Vietnam or Cambodia but not acceptable for Australia

Room was old and not as clean as it should be - eg spiderwebs on the window sill. The bed was clean and comfy though. Check in person was not there and when he arrived he didn't speak English. It was ok but I wouldn't stay there again

- building is shabby, fit for demolition
-TV just had two Channels working,not even the basic free to air channels.TV was of the size of a laptop
-there were just 5ml of body wash/ shampoo in the bathroom
-given what I was charged for one night and given the facilities, I deserve a refund of half what I paid

I think my feeling about this motel is it was very ordinary. Check in was tricky because the man on reception did not speak English. The outside area was a bit grubby. Room was dated and just clean enough. Not great. But sheets were obviously professionally laundered and bed was comfy.

Very upset about choosing to stay here and it wasn’t cheap - dirty room and bathroom, bed, and couch very uncomfortable- sore back and head . Kettle broken felt unsafe to use lid fell off, tv would not turn off had to turn off via power point . Need to renovate and clean properly.

The bed was comfortable and clean. The room a good size with a kitchenette. It was quiet and very convenient, easy walking distance to shops and beach. Check in was easy.
The price for that area was fantastic, you won't find better value. It's not new and if you expect luxury go pay 4 times the amount somewhere else for similar facilities. This place kicks goals for position, meeting needs and value for money. Will stay again.
The family who run it are friendly and kind.

I feel Wotif need to remove this listing. Its a grubby, smelly shabby place. No plates, no teaspoons, cups filthy, hair on bathroom floor. Cracked window taped up. Reception was a cell phone put on desk for us to talk to someone. Key handed over and that was it. Couldnt get hold of anyone to lodge a complaint with. It looks nothing like the website photos nor write up.

A let down for Lorne. No one present at reception, required to call to get the key, not welcoming at all, zero hospitality skills and then proceeded to point in a direction indicating your room…to walking into the room, definitely a jaw drop. Almost felt like walking out. Bed linen was clean with old blankets, noticed bed had no mattress protector, blinds had freyed edges everything is old. Coffee n biscuits out of date. Bathroom tile grout not cleaned properly…showing signs of some mould spots. shower screen frame rusty, tiles missing on vanity kicker. Don’t even know when carpet steam cleaned. Certainly a stale smell upon walking in n had to used AC to freshen room. Location was good tho. Outside looks abandoned. Pics certainly to not resemble current inside n out. I know price is cheap and served it purpose but doesn’t reflect what you’re actually paying for.
Would not be recommending this accomodation shouldn’t even be a listing.

Bed was very comfortable, room was very dusty and run down. Lady at front desk was lovely, tried to help us when the Foxtel didn’t work but didn’t end up solving the problem and blamed Foxtel. Bathroom was gross and shower had terrible pressure. Spent the night killing flying ant type bugs. Lucky it was only 1 night, definitely not worth what we paid.

When we arrived the frontage had weeds growing and there was a sign that said that the office was closed today, but it was so weathered, I think it had been there every day for a year. After calling the number, a man came to the door 5 minutes later, and opened the door just enough to stretch his arm through and give us the key with out a word to say. The floor was only clean where you could see from a distance and down the side of the bed it was dirty and had cobwebs full of bugs. The soap dispenser in the bathroom had leaked out all over the vanity. The room listing brags a Spa Bath, but there was a note to say it didn't work. The freezer was so frosted over that the shelf was bulging down making it unusable. There was a hole in the sink draining board that had a plug that didn't cover the hole. The shelf in the kitchen cupboard was sagging down on an angle. The only draw in the room had the bottom all smashed in. The air conditioner had an isolating switch with a paper note that was stuck to the tiles with packaging tape, and we didn't use it as it was full of dust. There was a fan heater next to the bed, but it didn't work. After going out to dinner, we came back to share a bottle of wine around 8 pm but there was only one glass and when I called the number to see if they could give me another one, they told me it was too late. They tried to make it look presentable, but the standard of maintenance falls well short. Glad we only stayed 1 night. I would love to post photos

The tradies who use the Inn to stay o'night and go home the next day, didn't appear to give any consideration of others who were there for a relaxing, quiet holiday. There was too much noise/talking early mornings. The bed was comfortable but not enough utensils in the kitchen. I can't give it any more than 3 stars! Overall, disappointing. P.B.

the onsite staff could not speak English and had to ring through to someone who could. the hand basin was rusty and mouldy; the fridge hadn't been defrosted for ages and was all iced up and not very clean. the bins had mould in the bottom; and the whole place was in need of a decent makeover and clean up. i can provide photos if required.
