My mum and I did a girls trip here and we LOVED our stay! Just the kind of quite wind-down that we needed after the hustle and bustle of Venice and Florence.
This hotel is GORGEOUS!! The food at the restraurant was superb and the pool divine on the hot Tuscan days! Easy to get to and a quick 30mins from Florence made it a wonderful choice.
We both can't wait to be back!! Thank you for the beautiful stay!

Amazing View and extremely relaxing!

We didn't want to leave here!! It was beautiful, relaxing, kind and helpful staff, best steak ever for dinner, and pool with a view! The location was great for day trips to Lucca or San Gimignano and still close to Florence. The staff was kind and helpful, gave us the best room in the place with a staircase leading to a balcony upstairs with the best view! We loved spending time there or the pool when we weren't sightseeing, they have bikes to ride around and a washer and dryer which was helpful for us. Breakfast was tasty with lots of options and dinner was yummy! It was nice to have the restaurant option in the evenings so we didn't need to leave and could relax more. Wish we could have stayed longer! Thank you again for everything!

Amazing Tuscan country house

We stayed at the Le Mandrie for 3 nights while visiting Tuscany to go over wedding plans. The staff were absolutely amazing, extremely friendly !

We stayed at the sister house which is a minute walk from the main house / restaurant. Very clean and spacious with a great shower.

After a long day travelling around tuscany we decided to stop by the restaurant for a drink okay before going to bed but ended up ordering the \"famous\" beef steak ... SENSATIONAL ! This is by the far the best beef steak I've ever had and there was a whooping 638 grams of it.

An excellent stay and I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Relaxing in Tuscany

I can't say enough about our stay here, it was, in short, amazing. It was such a relief to drive outside the city into Tuscany. The rooms were exactly as expected, plus there was an outside Patio area with table that was just ours (which we bought wine and cheese and meat from nearby Coop and enjoyed it out there). The breakfast was amazing. Each room had a reserved table, and it was buffet style consisting of eggs, pastries, coffee, fruit, meat and cheese, cereal, yogurt and oatmeal. The staff was really helpful and the view was gorgeous! If you are going to Tuscany, staying here is a must!

Great B&B in Tuscany, close to Florence.

My sister and I stayed for two nights and had an amazing time. The location is great, close to Florence and Pisa but in the country so you can enjoy the calm and beauty of Tuscany. Each building is great and spaced out to have more personal space.

Tasty Tuscan beauty

This is a working vineyard agriturismo with its own restaurant, which had the best food of our 11 day Tuscan vacation. Included breakfast was ordinary, but the a la carte restaurant and their own wine was great. We arrived in cold rain, making finding and climbing the windy road in our rental exciting. Our very Tuscan suite had a bedroom, living area, and fridge, with more space than we needed (except in the tiny Italy-style shower). How awesome to open up the shutter style window to the Tuscan country view the next am!

Beautiful villa close to Florence

Beautiful villa close to Florence. If you came to explore northern Tuscany with a moto or a car this is great solution. Away from crowds but yet close to many nice places to see .Room was spacious and beautifull and breakfast was fantastic. We entended to stay one, but in the end we stayed three nights. Staff was very helpful and pleasant. Totally cool!

Nice place from La Toscana

Nice hotel, with excellent personal service, be careful with the time table, people there close almost everything for lunch, 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.
The included breakfast is really good, and internet works fine, they have two properties in the same place, both with nice view from la Toscana, prices are good if you think every room is fully equipped, good for rest and near If your rent a car to Firenze, Siena and Pisa

Wonderful but challenging find

Our gps took us to terrible uphill gravel road not fit for anything less than a 4 wheel drive! Saw Mandrie street where the hotel is located, but was afraid to go up the road as it was dark. Asked at a local restaurant, and was directed to the hotel in front of the football field. Hotel in front of football field told us it was across the road up the dark path! Having survived our mini-adventure we made it to this delightful lodge. Our kind receptionist upgraded our room and we were quite grateful! Our suite was lively. Fresh rosemary, basil and thyme filled a jar on the kitchen table. There were ample pillows and blankets stocked in the bedroom upstairs. Dinner started at 8 and was delicious. The next morning an ample breakfast spread awaited. Check out was at 10am. My walk around the tranquil grounds was peaceful. I highly recommend this hotel!

Nice accommodation conveniently situated

Nice comfortable accommodation set in the Tuscan countryside but still very convenient for visiting both Florence and Pisa. The view from our balcony was beautiful and it was very tranquil. The swimming pool and lovely gardens offered plenty of opportunity to relax when not out and about exploring. The organic breakfast was plentiful and the two occasions we ate in the food was delicious. The house wine made from the owners own grapes was particularly desirable and very cheap too. Unfortunately it was mosquito season and they were everywhere including in our room despite insect repellent machines and sprays. Otherwise a good experience.

Although difficult to find, the scenery outside is beautiful with nice big rooms with plenty of space for any family and friends. One of the better breakfasts I found in Italy provided for free. Almost limitless parking available was nice as well.

We got in to the hotel around 1230 am and couldn't find the road. Carlos came and got us from the main road and was so cheerful and helpful even at 12 in the morning. It was the perfect start to our trip. Thank you Carlos!

Totally Unexpected!!!!

Wow!!! Totally Impressed! From the moment we arrived, which was after hours, 10:30pm, until the moment we left, we just felt completely at home.
The rooms are impecable!!! Soo clean! Everything is just perfect for the set up and place this hotel is located at.
Our room had a balcony on the second floor that looked out to a garden with a great view of the Tuscan hills. The constant singing of the birds even at night is so peaceful!

Letizia at breakfast was espectacular!!! Daniela at the office is super nice and the owner is just great! I think his name is Carlo if I remember well ( I just had a bottle of wine here in Venice ).

Overall, if you want a great place to rest, and enjoy the Tuscan region, this is the place to stay. Not a 5 star place when it comes to luxury, but it FEELS LIKE A 10 STAR!!! When it comes to ambience, cleanliness, food and customer service!

Simply Amazing!!!

Thank you so much.

The only downside to someone planning on staying there might be that is 30 minutes away from Florence and you NEED a car to get there.

Otherwise! STAY HERE! You will not regret it !!! Breakfast is amazing!!! Free internet and of course, free parking!

Had a great couple of nights staying at this beautiful hotel. It offers everything you could possibly need, has a great restaurant and very helpful staff. Would highly recommend to anyone planning on visiting this area of Tuscany. It is pretty remote so you would need a car or be happy paying for taxis.

Great Agriturismo.

Nice place to relax. Breakfast with homemade jams. Has a restaurant for dinner.House wine is from their own grapes. Very nice English speaking receptionist.. A small town is just a short drive away to pick up any needed food or supplies. Apartment with a sofa bed, adequate kitchen area with stove and refrigerator.. A large bedroom and nice bathroom. 25 min. drive from Florence but we stayed here twice on our trip. Too far out for just an overnight stay. Great if you're wanting a few days to rest and relax.

The hotel is very well situated for visiting Florence, Sienna, Pisa and other Tuscan highlights by car. Comfortable room and good breakfast. Self-cater or enjoy the reasonably priced evening meals.Helpful staff. We even managed a swim in the lovely pool - in late October! Great place to stay in the beautiful Tuscan countryside.

Quiet respite from busy florence

This is a great place if you want to stay outside Florence. Receptionist spoke English very well and was very friendly and helpful. The one bedroom had a large bedroom, nice bath and a comfortable sleeper sofa if needed. Great buffet breakfast. On top of a hill which is very picturesque. A small town nearby to pick up any needed supplies or groceries if you want to prepare your own food. Adequate, well equipped kitchen area. Hotel also has a restaurant and you can take a cooking class there. We are going to stay there again in a few days.

Great unique getaway place - medieval farmhouse with beautiful surrounding countryside. The only complaint we have is that the heat was turned after 10 AM and didn't come back on until 6 PM and we were there when it was cold for several days. That may be fixed soon because they seem to be in process of upgrading their heating system.

Wonderful and highly recommendable place

Wonderful and highly recommendable place in Tuscany within reasonable distance of key Tuscan cities and attractions. As Tuscan as it can be, with traditional Tuscan buildings in a very nice garden with a nice pool and a wonderful view. Be aware though that the property consist of two houses with approx. 250 meters apart. Both very nice, but for a family with kids who love staying at the swimming pool, it was better for us to stay in the main building with the swimming pool and the restaurant. The restaurant serves very good food, but is a bit expensive. The breakfast is good. The closest city is Montespertoli, which provides a few shops and restaurants and is sort of charming, but it is a very quiet place.

Наш номер был похож на каземат: сырой, с низкими потолками, очень холодный. Кровати узкие, как в поезде. Душ напоминает советские турбазы, с деревянной решеткой под ногами, на которую брезгуешь встать. От кухни шум до полуночи и с 6:30 утра, спать невозможно.

Upea tukikohta Toscanaan tutustumiseen parinkymmenen kilometrin päässä Firenzestä. Auto melkoisen välttämätön. Viehättävä maatilamajoitus upeissa maisemissa. Kunnollinen uima-allas, joka oli vielä lokakuun lopussa auki, vesi tosin hyvin kylmää tähän aikaan. Hyvä aamiainen kuului hintaan, oma ravintola hyvä. Montespertolin kylässä parin kilometrin päässä kauppa, ravintoloita, ym. Maksuttomat pyykinpesu ja kuivauskoneet. Tullessa oikeaa risteystä vaikea löytää, merkitty pienellä kyltillä. Maksuttomat, hyvät polkupyörät lainattavissa. Liikkuminen on pelkkää ylä- ja alamäkeä, mutta mahtavat maisemat. Ihana henkilökunta, hyvä siivous. Ei kuitenkaan steriili hotelli, vaan maalla ollaan. Hyvä lämmitys huoneissa. Kahden makuuhuoneen asuntomme oli hyvin tilava, suuret parivuoteet ja kunnollinen viides sänky.

Super séjour au Mandrie di Ripalta. Chambres très propres et confortables,
personnel à l'écoute. Les propriétaires sont charmants et donnent des conseils avisés sur les visites à faire. Seul petit bémol on ne peut pas dîner en terrasse et beaucoup de bruit dans la salle de déjeuner. Une super piscine et équipement avec vue imprenable sur la campagne toscane. A conseiller immanquablement.

Bien, mais il en manque!

Bel endroit, mais j'ai eu une chambre moins belle et moins grande que toutes celles vues sur leur site. Il y a l'air conditionné, mais impossible d'avoir la température sous les 25 degrés. C'est chaud pour dormir! Il était bon d'avoir une piscine, mais le terrassement en gravel??? dur pour les pieds. Super belle salle à manger, mais il manque d'ambiance. Nous avons souper là 2 soirs. La nourriture était excellente, mais le service +/- bon et sans musique = une ambiance assez moyenne. Bien comme endroit, mais il manque le petit +, surtout pour le prix payé.
