Such a gorgeous stay! Thank you so much, everything was perfect. The staff were so kind and welcoming - and really helpful for everything we needed. Location is ideal - right by the beach but very peaceful and everything is within walking distance. Loved everything about our stay and we will be back!

Rooftop bar/pool area used for breakfast is a real delight with views of the sea and mountains.
The food was exceptional and the dinner buffet very good value head and shoulders above most we have experienced in terms of quality and choice.
Very unusual for holiday hotels is the quality of the bedrooms and especially the bed.
Excellent in all respects apart from the MUZAK which is played morning noon and night and spoils the wonderful rooftop breakfast experience totally.

Perfect!

The Hotel is well maintained, spotlessly clean with warm friendly service. All rooms overlook the beach and Almyrida bay.

Bed and Breakfast, with breakfast served at Almyrida Beach hotel (200m walk). Great choice of food and beverage of a high quality and friendly service (staff brilliant with our kids). You also have access to all facilities at Almyrida studios, beach and residences during stay including pools and bars.

Location is footsteps from the beach with crystal clear water and Sandy beach with lots of sun loungers and umbrellas (€15 a day for two). Temperature of water is warm so a good substitute for the pool (also good for young kids as not deep). Multiple places to eat and drink throughout day and night (lots of great restaurants for night and beach bars/cafes during day), with all facilities decorated to high standard and clean. Also a few supermarkets and shops to cater for all your needs.

We rented a car (Centauro - was really good, organised, efficient and friendly service with free shuttle to and from airport).

We went to a water park in limnoupolis which was very good (30 mins), explored Chania Town with its Venetian harbour, which was spectacular (25 Mins) and visited Rethymno (45 mins) which was again very nice with Venetian harbour. The rest of the time we relaxed on beach/by the pool.

A great family holiday, we will be back

Very nice staff. Solo traveller, I got the usual worst room until I brought up the fact that just because I'm alone, doesn't mean I'm lonely! And they gave me the room I requested.

Excellent modern hotel

Very helpful staff. Very clean and well-equipped hotel. Rooftop bar is excellent, and the breakfast has plenty of choice and tea coffee and juice, however the evening meal is luck warm at best and unbelievably they don’t serve water to drink with the meal this should be a basic requirement for the hotel when guests are half board. Pools are excellent unfortunately people get up early to place towels on the sunbed then don’t use them until lunch time this should be stopped, the bathroom is excellent, Overall, I would very much recommend.

We were in Studios which were comfortable and clean but we spent most of our time at the Beach and Residence where our family were. Very well appointed and great pool. Really enjoyed the breakfast.

We have just got back from a lovely 10 day stay at Almyrida Resort. For anyone that doesn’t understand the difference between the accommodations (as I didn’t when I booked it!) Almyrida resort is a new style, modern hotel with an amazing infinity pool on the roof and restaurant called Thea, which is opposite the Almyrida Beach Hotel - a more traditional style hotel with a swimming pool and the Windmill. Almyrida Studios is also About 250m along the road aswell, along the coast. I think they are all owned by the same company. We stayed in the Almyrida resort And it was excellent. The rooms were equipped and quiet, and all of the staff were very very welcoming and accommodating. We had two toddlers with us and they were all very friendly and helpful. A special shout out Xanthi the receptionist as she was very nice to us, and also the housekeeping staff as they did a fantastic job every day. Both me and my sister also had massages in the spa with Panos. He was brilliant and very attentive. We were also very impressed by the staff who were at the breakfast buffet and manning the bars, they even made special vegan pancakes for my sister every day!

Great place for relaxing holidays

3 summers in a row i stay in this hotel. Very nice area, great for a few relaxing days. Dinner and breakfast a bit basic but tasty nonetheless. For a small tourist place, it has good places to eat and drink anyway at descent prices. Beach near the hotel is very good, but you can have great fun in their pool also. Rooms are good, had problems with tv receiption but i guess this could be fixed, i didnt bother asking anyone. Rooftop bar and coctails were also fun. Staff is pleasant and helpfull.

Great roof terrace with infinity pool.
Very average food quality for breakfast buffet..... walk out of the hotel and choose anywhere on the seafront!!
Would I stay again, no. It was the noisiest hotel I have stayed in...ever

Lovely spot to stay.

Check in was great very polite and friendly staff, we were traveling as 2 couples and they placed us in adjoining rooms very convenient. The hotel rooms were spacious and very comfortable beds. My only criticism would be that the showers had fabric curtains. The breakfast was a very plentiful buffet which was constantly replenished. The pools were great. We stayed in the more modern section of the hotel. Parking when we first arrived was a little chaotic but you were competing with the general beach going public later there was no difficulty in obtaining spots. Almyrida beach was a lovely spot with close proximity to the beach and the eating options great. The beach was also the fine sand rather than the more rocky options in some parts of Crete. Lovely sheltered beach safe for children.

Short break in May

We had a fabulous short break early season in May. Stayed in Almyrida Studios which is directly on the beach and at the end of the Almyrida Bay. It has great sea views looking across to Chania. It is ideally located for beach, bars and restaurants.
Room was excellent but the bathroom needs modernising. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Good selection of breakfast options in Almyrida Studios or at the sister hotel Almyrida Beach which is only a 5min walk. We ate out every night at the higher rated restaurants in the resort all of which were excellent. Highly recommend a day trip to Gramvoussa and Balos Lagoon. We are planning a return trip for the same time next year.

Great location, good for heavy sleepers!

We stayed at the Al Myridia Studios (one of the three hotel buildings). A pleasant hotel in scenic surroundings. The hotel staff were lovely, the rooms were clean and there were good facilities (multiple outdoor swimming pools ) and the hotel was on the beach. There were a couple of issues: firstly the room walls were very thin which meant that we could hear our neighbours flushing, moving chairs etc thus making it hard to have a good nights sleep. Secondly the breakfast was ordinary. Overall if we were staying there again I would advise to get earphones and to get breakfast elsewhere!

Would have liked the Amyrida Residence Hotel to have been adults only rooms. It would have been quieter in our rooms.
2nd week spoilt due to a crying baby next door and children running around.
Otherwise perfect.

Wonderful relaxing family holiday

The hotel was perfect for us. It's a great place for children. The pool is perfect for swimmers and non swimmers. The beach is very close by and there are endless options for eating and drinking. The hotel food is good and available at the poolside bar all day. The local restaurants on the beach are lovely. grest place for a family holiday.

I would highly recommend this hotel. Not only is it a stone throw away from the beach but the pool was perfect for my 2 year old to play. The hotel staff were great and made a fuss over him and us each day.

A very beautiful, quiet, seafront place to stay.

I stayed there for three nights and loved it. It is located in a small oceanfront village which is very quiet. No traffic noise because there is no traffic. It is about a 30 Euro 25 minute taxi ride from Chania. The hotel has three separate buildings. I stayed in the Studios building which is about 140 meters from the others. The crystal clear Mediterranean is 10 meters in front of the hotels with very rocky beaches. The lounges on the beach are owned by a private business snd they charge two euros to use them.
My room at the Studios was very clean, complete with stove snd refrigerator. It is basic and just what i would expect in this village getaway. It had a balcony overlooking the sea with two seats. The staff was always knowledgeable, pleasant and spoke english. I enjoyed talking to them.
The breakfast buffet was large and appealing. There was music on the rooftop bar one night while i was there. The rooftop has a spectacular view of the city and the singer just complemented it. The restaurant right across the street named Demitris was very good for any of three meals a day.
If you are looking for a secluded, quiet, waterfront hotel, this is the place for you.

One of the best thing was Reception staff provided us two rooms with main entry for each room and entry inside room. We would consider as best analysis by staff. Our kids loved it and enjoyed a lot without disturbing nearby room guests in hotel,
Staff was very helpful, polite and friendly.
We had breakfast and dinner all 5 days in hotel. Although food was very good Only suggestion would be to provide different options in breakfast each day and more vegetarian food during dinner.
Swimming pool water should be warm so that kids can swim.
While checking room we were not informed Spa available only Wednesday. We really wanted to try body spa during our stay.

Fint och fräscht hotell, med god frukostbuffé på fin takterrass. Läget är perfekt med närhet till stranden, restauranter och mini marker. Vi badade bara i en av poolerna eftersom den ena var så grund och en av dem bara var för vuxna. Den fjärde förstod vi aldrig var den låg. Maten var ok, men desserten kunde vart bättre. Hotellrummet var väldigt fint och nytt, men vi delade balkong med fåglar som hade byggt ett bo där och personalen vaskade inte bort fågelbajs som var både på handduksupphäng och balkonggolv. Dessutom var det ingen form för solskärmning på balkongen så man kunde inte sitta där på eftermiddagen. Men rekommenderar ändå hotellet. Allt i allt en positiv upplevelse.

L'hôtel est très propre, l'accueil sympathique,.le personnel ( menage..service) très aimable et dévoué.
Nous avions une chambre d'angle , vue mer et piscine mais gâchée par les ailes d'un grand moulin ( local technique de la piscine)
Le parking assez grand et pratique.
La mer ,.juste de l'autre côté de la route. Plutôt agréable.
Néanmoins ,pour de nombreuses raisons,.l'hotel ne correspond pas à un 4* mais 3*...déjà l'alimentation, le petit déjeuner,du choix mais toujours absolument la même chose. Le repas du soir, tjrs les mêmes entrées,.il faut aimer les carottes râpées, tomates, concombre. Pour le reste ,plutôt de la nourriture de cantine. Pas de nappe mais des sets en papier . On nous debarasse très vite les assiettes et les tables et à 21h fermeture du self. Pas assez de parasols autour de la piscine, d'autant que les gens installent leurs serviettes dès 7h du mat pour y rester parfois 2h,.serviettes payantes 2e/pers et chq fois que.l'on veut les changer.
La mer
est très proche,.plutôt agréable mais les transats sont payants.
Enfin, les gens arrivent à ttes heures du jour et de la nuit, ils font souvent beaucoup de bruit avec les valises et à 2h du mat parlent fort sans qu'apparemment L'hôtel ne se manifeste.

Bien mais besoin d’un rafraîchissement

L’hôtel est agréable bien situé le personnel accueillant mais les locaux en général et les chambres ont besoin de modernisation. Le balcon est peu utilisable en raison d’un fort vis à vis avec les voisins.

Excellent place for the the money, I judge the place mostly what you get with the money you have spent to it.It was amazing how cheap was the breakfast.Less would be okay also, the staff was friendly and helpful.We do not spend our time at the Hotel very much . We just sleep there and eat breakfast and after that we go to see places.Maybe in the evening take some drinks at the pool bar.We don’t use swimming pool because we swim in the sea always. We eat only breakfast at the hotel.So I can’t tell what kind of food is served in the evening at the hotel restaurant. You can hear sounds from other rooms quite easily but it’s like that in cheaper hotels, it didn’t disturb us because other quest were not noisy. Excellent and very cheap hotel. In Finland you can get only a breakfast with the price we spent for accommodation and breakfast. Happy customers.

Mixed emotions

Bit mixed emotions here. There is the old building and new building. We were posted in the old building. The service was top, our room was big, clean and nice view. But then to little space to store clothing. Our friends room was old, wit old bathtube, nog working but worh lots of possibilitty of clothing storage. Internet worked fine, but payment for rental of safe and beachtowel and use of basic wellness. Which should be for free in s 4 star hotel. Three outdoor unheated pools, way too cold for a swim.

Food was served in a depressive room with terrible lightning.The breakfast was ok, but not 4 star quality. Dinner was under quality and we regret that we choose that solution. If you want to be a four star, you serve better quality food.

Rooftop bar in the new building is great. Fantastic view, great drinks and service.

Nous avons passé 2 semaines de vacances dans cet hôtel au mois de juillet (Almyrida résidence, à ne pas confondre avec Almyrida Beach ou Almyrida Studio qui appartiennent au même “groupe”) C’est un établissement que je conseille car les chambres sont spacieuses et propres, le personnel très à l’écoute et professionnel, le buffet de la demie pension et le petit déjeuner sont de bonnes qualités, variés et les horaires acceptables, les piscines sont très bien sachant qu’une des 3 piscines est réservé au adultes. Bref c’est un hôtel globalement au top et calme. Vous avez beaucoup de restaurants et de services autours… Le seul problème finalement est le check out! Il est à 11h (ce qui n’est pas scandaleux!) nous avons donc demandé de bénéficier d’un late check-out car notre avion était à 20h! Quelle ne fut pas ma surprise lorsque j’ai appris que l’hôtel facture 10€ par heure pour un late check-out! Sachant que nous y avons séjourné 14 nuits et que la chambre ne serait pas occupée après notre départ! C’est un peu honteux… et anti-business!

En perle!

Dette er virkeligt et dejligt sted. Vi har rejst rigtig meget de seneste 10 år og har ikke været et sted, hvor vi har været så godt behandlet som her. Rengøring og foranstaltninger grundet Covid-19 tager man meget seriøst.
Vi havde en pige med på 1 år. Alle var så søde og hjælpsomme overfor os med diverse småting. Stedet er rigtig dejligt. Lækker rooftop-restaurant (Og pool). 2 fine poolområder nede på jorden beliggende i en lille by. Hele vores ophold på en uge var helt perfekt.

Opredning var af dårlig kvalitet

Opholder var fint men vores ekstra opredning til vores datter var af ringe kvalitet sengen var for kort og alt for hård ( vores datter er 160 cm høj) den var ikke beregnet som seng jeg er glad for vi kun skulle have 4 nætter der.
Ellers var hotellet fint og dejligt rent

Geriausia vieta apsistoti Kretoje.

Labai puikus viesbutis, lokacija ir personalas. Ypatingai geros vakarienes (visas 7 dienas buvo skirtingas maistas). Juros krantas nuostabus (nemokami gultai prie kavines MAKIS). Tikriau galiu drasiai rekomenduoti si viesbuti ir teigti, kad tai geriausia vieta apsistoti Kretoje (butinai uzsisakykite su pusryciais ir vakarienem).

Minusai: prie baseino sunku gauti gulta (zmones is pat ryto bega uzsiema ir eina valgyti, jei esate mandagesnis zmogus, tai po pusryciu gulto jau negausite nei ant stogo nei apacioj prie didelio baseino).

Underbar vistelse i Almirida

Vi bodde på Almirida beach som är den äldre delen av Almirida resort. Hotellet var fräscht och rent med mycket bra service. Vi hade en rymlig balkong med havsutsikt och eftermiddagsskugga, vilket var toppen. Ställning på nalkongen för att hänga badkläder och handdukar på tork. Ganska litet men trevligt rum för tre, två vuxna och ett barn. Skön säng. Städerskorna gjorde ett jättebra jobb och gulliga handduksfigurer på sängarna varje dag. Personalen i receptionen var supertrevliga och hjälpsamma och ordnade en dagsutflykt med taxi åt oss med en trevlig och kunnig chaufför. Frukpstbuffen var helt ok men inte mer. Stranden i Almirida har klart vatten och är långgrund med fin mörkgul sand. I slutet av juli var den mycket folk på stranden. Tavernorna i Almirida var sådär, har ätit bättre i grannbyn Kalives när jag varit där. Sammantaget en mycket positiv och härlig vistelse.

Oppholdt på hotellet 2 uker i september 2017. Hotellet ligger sentralt til i den lille landsbyen Almyrida. Gode hotellfasiliteter, god mat, god service og godt renhold. Kan anbefale et opphold her.

Tolle Hotel im kleinen Städtchen

Schöner Aufenthalt im neuen Hotel ruhige Atmosphäre, nahegelegener Strand, etwas abseits gelegen von grösseren Zentren und möglichen Ausflügen, etwas langweilig wenn man Zeit nur im Hotel verbringen will, Meerblick nur seitlich. Meer durch Parkplatz und Strasse getrennt. Speisen in Ordnung, etwas einfallslos, Abendessen in Buffetform und einfacher Qualität.Schön saubere Zimmer und freundliches Personal. Alles in allem sehr zufriedenstellend.
