Very good location close to resort center for travel information, bus station, grocery and restaurants. Free on-site laundry machines are very helpful. The negative side is that our room on the first floor had some humidity smell and we saw a few tiny ants on the shower floor. But overall, we are happy with the property.

The only thing I can comment on is their lack of communication, I have emailed this hotel on several occasions to advise of my situation due to the Iran War but they choose not to answer, therefore I cannot give a good review for this hotel being ‘The Lost Course’

Clean room but the air conditioner could not keep up and the high temperature was only 92 degrees during the first week of fall. I cannot imagine how miserable it would be during the summer.

It would be nice to have a desk/chair in the room to work on a laptop. It was strange to see Aboriginal children running around the pool. Clearly, they were not allowed in the pool. Hopefully they have their own pool to utilize. LOVED the painting class. Good talk at the art gallery about Aboriginal art. Beds and bedding very comfortable. Nice big shower. Dinner buffet at Sails was not worth the money. We started at 7:30 PM and lots of empty serving dishes (lamb chops, only 2 slices of ham carved, 3 pieces of kangaroo, etc). No one manning the pasta station or the carving station. Definitely NOT worth the money. Lunch at Geko Cafe was fine and host very friendly. I found the staff on the whole (front desk, Noah bartender) to be less friendly than the Aussies we encountered. aboriginals looked miserable and never mad eye contact, spoke to us or engaged us in any way.
All in all, glad we visited, but it is one and done.

Expensive rooms due to monopoly at site. The Lost Camel was not the most expensive but it was right up there with one of the most expensive rooms my wife and I have ever stayed. No other options to spend the night if viewing the Rock. We had a wonderful vacation and experience. Nothing bad to say except for the huge expense for hotels rooms, rental cars, and price of bus tours.

Overall we had a good experience with our say. On our final night, we had quite of bit of noise from coming from a neighbouring guest's room. We ended up loosing sleep on our final night. We did not have a chance to mention this concern with the staff at reception. Reception was not open. We had to get on the airport shuttle 5 minutes before reception opened. We ended up leaving our room keys in our room. Simply could not personally give it to reception staff at check out. Outside of this issue staff was very helpful with our needs extra towels, organising repairs to our room TV when the TV lost reception. The maintenance staff got our TV repaired within 2 hours.

Uniquely this hotel has all rooms with no proper windows, just opaque glass from shower room and toilet. This felt claustrophobic and dark during daytime. In the night it was impossible to get the room dark for sleeping as there are lights outside on two sides shining through glass and around the door. There are no curtains or blinds. This didn’t suit me as I can’t sleep in a light room. Overall the hotel is nice, modern and clean so it’s a shame.

Keep up the good work. I hope the territory gets reliable NBN coverage soon. A chemist in the resort and a dr in the resort would be great.
Keep it as natural as it is. And finally it would be good if water was sold in glass bottles not plastic.
Uluru is Sacred the desert is sacred one feels the natural spirit alive. Keep commercialism out of the NT. More support from the government is needed.

Not happy

We booked for a king size bed room during our stay.only to find out that the king size bed is make up from
2 single beds, which is not as comfortable.Besides that, the housekeeping during our stay was very poor! We stayed for 6 nights in total and only requested one house keeping on the third day of our journey, but surprisingly they didn’t vacuum the floor, did not remove the rubbish bag, did not restock the milk ; tea bags and toiletries. All they did were change the bed sheets and towels.
And we are the full rate payment tourists, not on a discounted travel . Would expected standard service for sure.

Disappointed

We would like to say we had a fabulous stay. Unfortunately we booked in Feb instead of Mar. tried to get a refund, bounced back and forth between Ayers Rock Hotel and Hotels.com. Nothing. Even though we are actually staying at the Resort in Mar. Disappointed that either of them would hang on to our 500 CAD and not help out with a refund even though we are still going to be staying at the hotel Ayers Rock properties and with Hotels.com when we have 30 hotels booked for the next month. Be careful with your bookings.

This was a fantastic place to stay . It was a lovely surprise. We were right next to the pool and we also arrived around three hours early and we got our room right away . Staff were excellent . A short walk to the main hub of the complex with restaurant, Coffee shop, Supermarket and tourist shops. They even have a post office. The only down side was that excursions were way over priced. If you want a fantastic totally free thing to do one evening , then do to see Uluru change colour to a bright red as the sun is going down. It is the best thing to do in the evening and totally free.

It is a nice hotel with a swimming pool. This is a great option when you have some spare time and nothing to do.

The room was clean and big enough. I did not like it that there were no windows in the room or the bathroom, so it was a bit humid.
There is no restaurant for it is near two cafeterias in the center of the villa.

Very good hotel. I would go back.

The hotel is part of the complex around Uluru and so we had good access to the town square space. There are no bar or food facilities other than those in the square but you can use the bar and restaurant at Sails in the Desert so that was good. The room was a nice size and had what we needed for our stay, and the pool was great for cooling off. There is also a shuttle bus that takes you round the area if it’s too hot to walk..

Decent hotel

Good location, rooms are good, as others have said, little natural light, but for us this was not an issue. Close to supermarket, shops and restaurants

No elevator to 1st floor. Need to carry suitcases manually over 18 steps. Very slow check in process.
