Check in was easy only down side is pulling in you have to go under the building and go up to the second floor to check in too many people checking in just to come back unload take stuff up before coming to move the car because you have to have a parking pass and it will cause cars to back up out into the road trying to get in. As far as the room love love love has everything you can possibly think of even a cord to hang wet clothes over the tub even tho there was a dryer in the room but no soap holder there is no where to put your soap without it sliding off the tub… o also when going please make sure you pay attention to the zip code there is 2 different places 30 mins apart with the exact same address….

Our room/suite was perfect. It was clean and comfortable, especially for the price! We enjoyed our coffee each morning on the balcony with a beautiful ocean view. You're basically within a mile or two of lots of food options. We actually walked to dinner on the pier at a place called Wicked Tuna. Superb! Riptydes is just down the block, as well. The only drawback were the crowds and traffic on Ocean Boulevard during the evenings over the weekend. We were there near the very end of the off-season and Saturday night was beyond crowded. I can only imagine once the Summer season kicks in. But, if you want a nice place to stay, complete with your own kitchen, an ocean view and steps from the beach, you can't beat this. Note: Bring your own beach towels.

Well supplied linen and towels, but bring your own kitchen supplies, staff are respectful and helpful, our room was quite yet next to elevator, laundry and ice. Nice unit but dated furniture could use new ones , ample parking, nice waterfront, no restaurant in the premises, serves coffee in the morning. No breakfast. Very close to amusement park, great location for family with younger kids, 6 minutes to Walmart

The furniture in the room was very old and worn. The bathroom door was swollen and only opened 1/4 of the way and the balcony door would not close properly because it was old and needed replacing. The shower was hot and good water pressure.

This is a clean family, friendly resort. The property itself is safe for teenagers to explore although I was told by the front desk at check in that my 17 and 16-year-olds could not use the gym without me present which is not true. It’s under 16 and clearly marked on the doors. The gym itself is in poor condition (broken equip, etc.) There’s no sanitizer/wipes to clean the equipment off- pretty gross. Maybe it’s not SC law, I don’t know. The hot tubs did not have enough water so the jets were shooting at surface level and blasting everybody in the eyes, mouth and ears. However- they were clean, everything was clean, and staff is very nice! You have to go off-site for any/all purchasing needs. If you have kids, age 17 and under must be off the streets or accompanied by an adult 9pm-6am due to intoxicated adults fighting, crazy drivers, and 3 shootings last year (per the biz across the street). The amusement park next block over is open till 1030 or 11 though, so you can’t have adult time while your older kids go bc you have to physically be there at 9. I would go up the north end if I were to visit MB again, to avoid that. There were things going on outside the amusement park and Friendlys that scared the kids and we’re not from a hoity-toity area. We are from the Philly/AC area- we see stuff. A man dragging his gf down the sidewalk screaming while the cops were busy arresting someone else a block down. Stay on the property and no issues! The views are great!

The room was outdated and smelled like smoke. I requested another room and was informed that they were full and would follow up with me the next day but never heard anything back. The bathroom had mold beside the tub, living room furniture had stains and was old, the dining table was scratched up and the chairs had tears in it. I wish the conditions of the room were better for the money spent.

The check-in experience was very poor. I didn’t receive my room until 6:00 PM. The hotel is in serious need of maintenance and updates. The pool and surrounding areas looked dirty and poorly kept.
There was a strong, unpleasant smell coming from nearby rooms, which made the stay uncomfortable. Noise was constant throughout the night, mainly due to drunk guests, making it impossible to rest.
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Even a Road Lodge/Red Roof Inn would be a better option.

The ocean view is the top feature. Hotel needs an update or at minimum fresh paint. Welcoming coffee and/or tea would be a nice treat.
Pool area is really nice but can be very noisy though. View from the balcony is just gorgeous. Would definitely consider to stay again.

My room was Beautiful!!! I booked a 3 bedroom condo & every bedroom had its own balcony!! The master room had its on built in jacuzzi, that was awesome! I Loved the staff but they were a little slow on something’s but other than that, my vacation was GREAT!!

They came in opened up the color and started playing their music and drinking. We have stayed their a few times before and loved it. But not sure if I will go back.

This place is not what the reviews have said. I feel reviews have been manipulated perhaps with one off reviews and not with people who frequently travel. As soon as you get to sandy beach resort the hotel is very tired. Unbeknownst to us there are 2 different sections to the hotel. Unfortunately we booked the old side magnolia. Had we not prepaid we would have left. The staff were extremely kind and efficient. They moved us (an upgrade we had to pay for) to a better unit. It too was tired. But no where near the condition of the previous room. A tired unit we can handle, dirt for 40+years no.
Now, had we know this also was in a drug dealing and poor area of MB. We would not have stayed here. Finding out after the fact there is a lot of violence and thefts. This is not the resorts fault, but it should be noted. We did like to walk and on beach is fine. But if you stray off this to walk on sidewalk there is a drug dealer and ladies of the evening on every corner.
The pool area is tired. There are hot tubs and pools and they are in working condition but again no maintenance to old tiles or rust on pipes etc sand from the beach was in pool and not once did we witness it cleaned for 2 weeks.
The little kids pool was under construction with no construction ever happening while we were there.
The building is smoke free. However, when you have your balcony door open all you can smell is the weed from the lower units hotboxing you in your unit. We ate a lot of Doritos

The view was amazing! The kitchen appliances worked perfectly. Plenty of room for food and a full size fridge. The room, hallways, pools/pool areas, and laundry room were all very clean and well maintained. Air worked great but we did stay in March so it was cooler already. Staff were very helpful and kind! Would definitely stay here again. Location was perfect right on the beach. Would definitely stay here again!

This about my fourth time staying here. I love this resort especially the ocean. We usually get an oceanfront room but all was left was ocean view and It’s still a beautiful view. We had 2 bedroom with so much space. Indoor pool and hot tub are great. I found my vacation home.

Yes it was looking out on the ocean, beach front, amazing. Rooms were nice, we had a room with full kitchen,,washer and dryer, nice size bathroom/ shower jacuzzi tub. Our room had two queen beds in one room then a fold out Murphy bed in front room. Small couch,,chair, with a 4 person table. TV in both rooms, cable, internet. Two outdoor heated pools,,two outdoor hot tubs. Plus heated indoor pool, and hot tub, with a small lazy river for small children. This will be our third year doing this, we will go back next march 2027 again. Plus they have their own dedicated parking lot right across the street from the hotel and they have private security on duty also. Further more there are plenty of places to eat real close to the hotel with very little driving, in a matter of minutes you can find your favorite food easy. This place is right on ocean blvd, in Myrtle beach SC, a lot to see and do. Or just relaxing. If you choose to cook in your room you are only 10 minutes from Walmart expresses, or other grocery stores for supplies. We will be going back it is always great. The only thing about this place is they are condos so they do not have room service such as ordering food, you will have to door dash etc etc, but like I said food is real close. But we will be back in 2027.
