Great getaway hotel for Valberg
For price and quality,Le Chastellan really met our hopes for a comfortable weekend break in Valberg and was just what we needed. Excellent for a 2 star hotel. Clean and comfortable with efficient and very friendly staff. Well located near to the center for all ameneties and nice and peaceful. Ideal for a break or a base for exploring the area in the summer.

The room is very simple with only a double bed which is not really suitable for two people to have a decent night's sleep. Bathroom was small but fine. Breakfast was ok. Die Fassade des Hotels ist hübsch. Parkplätze sind vor der Tür vorhanden. Die Zimmer sind allerdings sehr klein und sehr abgewohnt. Die Ausstattung wirkt wie aus den 60er und 70er Jahren. Das Preis u. Leistungsverhältnis steht in keinem Verhältnis. Überall Warnhinweise über Strafgebühren für alles Mögliche. Wirklich recht unsympathisch. Zugute halten muss man dem Hotel aber, das das Zimmer sauber ist. Empfehlen kann ich es aber nicht. Man kann durchaus mal eine Nacht dort bleiben, aber länger muss nicht sein. (Sommer 2025)

Les parties communes de l'hôtel sont satisfaisantes notamment une belle salle de repas avec également un espace bagagerie et un local pour le matériel de ski. En ce qui concerne la chambre cela est plus décevant, un morceau de carreau manquant au niveau de la vitre (en plein hiver, c'est un peu gênant), un radiateur très vieux et ne fonctionnant pas très bien, le linge de lit pas très propre et la porte salle de bain / toilettes qui ne ferme pas correctement (intimité limitée par moments) le tout avec une isolation phonique insuffisante ne garantissant pas un sommeil paisible.

Sehr nette Dame an der Reception. Zimmer war sauber und ausreichend für unsere Ansprüche. Es bestand die Möglichkeit die Motorräder in einer abgeschlossenen Garage zu parkieren. Sehr gutes Frühstück mit grosser Auswahl. Leider kein Lift, was uns jetzt nicht sonderlich störte. Man sollte unbedingt dem Bäcker im Dorf einen Besuch abstatten, ausgezeichnetes Brot. Dafür stehen die Leute bis an die Strasse.

Winzige Zimmer, abgenutzte Räume, Flure, undichte Toilette und eine Dusche ohne Vorhang bei der man das halbe Badezimmer flutet. Sicherlich ein eher günstiges Hotel. Und bei 2 Sternen kann und darf man auch keinen Luxus erwarten, aber ich rate jedem lieber etwas mehr Geld auszugeben und sich dieses Gefängnis (denn so fühlt man sich in diesem Hotel) zu ersparen.
