The staff was so very nice and helpful. We did not use the pool. The room was clean and the view was great. Can't hear the noise outside (we were right over the pool) but you could hear the neighbors opening and close sliding door that would get stuck. The shower in our unit had pretty much no pressure but good hot water.

I liked the hotel the kids loved it my only problem is the cleanliness of the room. There were dishes with clearly visible food residue left on the plates. The platform on which the wall bed sits is disgusting around the edges of it possibly food, dirt, & dead bugs around it. The linen on the pull out couch looked dirty with hair on it. The couches were dirty more specifically the two solo couches you can see the true color of the chairs are whitish towards the bottom & then the top of it has a blackish tint to it along with multiple stains.

Our child loved the indoor water park Cons: Check in took about an hour. it was marathon weekend, so maybe that had something to do with it. The smell of pot runied our ocean view balcony at night (not necessarily the hotel's fault, but stilldisappointing). The indoor pool chlorine was intense and started burning our eyes. Our child loved the slides.

We would have like to book an extra night to stay one extra day but the price for one night was more than the price we paid for the four days we were there. For this we were super disappointed. Online we could only book for an extra of 2 nights ( minimum 2 nights ) so we couldn’t do it online either. Other than that everything was fine

The roomwas out dated and bathroom needed redone. Popcorn celling wass falling down onto furnature. Was only on 2nd floor and could not enjoy the beach and water because of palm trees. Dont get me wrong its still a beautiful resort and checkin and parking were great. Still good value if renovation happen!!!

The that was good to me and my children, anything you need that they could provide they did. Kids had a ball in the water park, just feel they should be a closed in walkway to the other buildings water park. When it's really busy I think they should have two men replacing the water park towels. I feel the breakfast buffet needed some turkey bacon or turkey sausage for all those that don't eat pork daily.

Our experience definitely had ups and downs but aside from the initial check-in, the property itself was fantastic! The room was spacious, clean, and updated with a very large balcony (we had a corner room which likely made a huge difference). The two water park areas were simply terrific - things for kids of all ages and well maintained. We did the breakfast buffet one day and ate at the restaurant for lunch one day, both of which were terrific and reasonably priced for hotel resort food. The location itself felt very safe and was surrounded by nice homes and neighborhoods which is very different from other locations we've stayed at in Mrytle Beach. The staff throughout the property were pleasant and helpful. Parking is in a garage directly across the street and the garage itself was recently updated and pleasant and felt safe. We would highly recommend this place for families with kids!

Everything about Dunes is great! The only thing if wish they improve is their check in and check out. It's almost impossible to get parking at 4 to check in and getting a uboat at check out is like hitting the lottery. But the staff is lovely and the rooms are great!

We booked a room at Dunes resort in Myrtle Beach SC. The hotel as well as the parking garage were under construction. There was absolutely no where to park. Their only solution was for us to park in a tow away parking lot for public beach access that Myrtle Beach has NO PARKING over night. That was a big no. We checked in at 11:20pm. We were not told this before we were checked in. After 3 hours of being inconvenienced with no parking we had to leave that property and find another hotel to finally get checked in at 2:30am!!!! This was a complete inconvenience. The front desk workers were absolutely no help. They were telling us to park illegally per The City of Myrtle Beach SC, which would have had our car towed.

The rooms need a long overdue update- rusting and damaged appliances, damaged bedroom furniture. The hallways of the north and south towers are dirty and dingy. All of the trim needs to be repainted and recaulked. Beds are firm and the oceanfront rooms have a great view. Overall quietness while in the rooms.

Overall this trip was great. My son had the time of his life at the 2 VERY different indoor water parks. The staff (in particular Toni) was amazing, very welcoming and did everything to make sure my son had the best birthday ever. She was very helpful from start to finish. My only complaint was the people upstairs sounded like they were fighting for hours and we heard it all lol.

Other than throwing a few clean towels on the chair (towels only) and getting the dirty towels if they could be seen, room serv didn’t exist. The beds/pillows were very comfortable. We left and I was guessing she might go by and quickly mop the floor. I returned to find a mop propped against the stove. Floor dirty.
If you can ignore a little dirty floor and doing a little cleaning in the bathroom yourself and no room service, then this would be a good Place to stay.

Our room was on the side of the tower, with beautiful views. The rooms were clean and spacious. The description of the room was exactly like the post. We had a partially wrap around patio with seating and full access from the main bedroom and the living room. The views was amazing, over looking the ocean, dunes and some beach homes. I was impressed to see the dedication the staff gave to the pool area keeping it clean and well stocked with towels. We visited during Christmas and although it was cold the pools were heated and hot tubs was pleasantly hot. All the staff was friendly and helpful.

The rooms were filthy, had roaches, and were barely cleaned during the stay. We checked out a day early because of the roaches. Front desk tried to make it seem like roaches are a normal part of the hotel experience. I've travelled around the world for several years and not once have I encountered roaches in my room unless it was something I did - like leave the balcony door open, etc. These roaches were coming from under the fridge and walls - yuck!

Love the amenities and getting daily house keeping. The children activities were nice. Having onsite food and bar is convenient since not many walking choices. But they need to work on allowing guests to blast music and hollowing at the pool at night. Quiet time st 10 pm but first two nights couldn’t sleep from loud music and screaming guests. Had key issues as well not able to get in gate at second building and one door at parking garage. Had to get help wto th room door since had to do handle up and down first to get it opened. Lobby under renovation that did not affect stay. Staff we interacted with were all kind, waterpark was great for young kids, walkway to water parks between buildings was chilly but expected for Christmas and water was heated adequately, playground was small and could use repairs, bridge to beach was newly redone, room was spacious and view of ocean from balcony for sunrise was perfect!

The room is very clean. We stayed at the room with two queen bed which is smaller than other rooms but it is still quite spacious with 3 sinks and 2 televisions. The bathroom is very clean too. The kitchenette is is also nice with all the utensils and tools. It is well equipped. We enjoyed our stay.

My daughter left a note for the staff, thanking them for having us. I would also like to thank you for a wonderful stay. The view was amazing and the room was incredible. Although I will admit the WiFi was unsecured and couldn’t get the living room tv to stream. But we’re not there to watch tv, would have just been nice to have At the end of the nights. All in all 5 stars.
