This is the only high end hotel in the area. Beautiful building at the end of a long driveway through the hotel grounds. A lot of art in the hallways and the rooms have country feel to them. Restaurant is also really good.

Fabulous hotel, friendly, informative and efficient staff. Excellent housekeeping. The restaurant was superb, with a relaxed atmosphere and first rate food. Didn’t use the pool, but when walking by it was clean with good quality sunbeds and parasols. Definitely a place to return to.

For such a beautiful looking hotel on the outside, and what we thought was a luxury hotel. it was very disappointing. No bell service, breakfast was par at best and there was one coffee pot for everyone to share. The bed was horribly uncomfortable. We couldn't find the gym, the front desk clerk did as little as possible.

There was no services at all.. No kettle in the room and no complementary water provided. We had no choice but bought water from mini bar and it was expensive. There is minimal facility for hotel guest It was like a substandard B&B in a castle at a 4-star hotel price.

This was our second time at Villa Pomela, and we returned for its proximity to the Serravalle outlet (not even 5 min away), the excellent restaurant (we arrived in truffle season - yummy!) and it’s great service and wines (we enjoyed the delicious Gavi house wine, aptly named D’amore...), and the very good service at the hotel (smiles and welcoming at all times). The rooms are a bit hit and miss; last time we had a huge nice room, but this time it was smaller. A bit tired bathroom, but clean. One of our friends got a really small room for the same price we paid which we found strange. The Beds are typical for Italy, a bit on the hard side and no duvet but rather a blanket. But we slept well. I would say the rooms could benefit from some renovation, but the character should be kept. We will come back!

Beautiful hotel and grounds...It's like staying in a mansion. Relais Villa Pomela is one of the most upscale hotels in the surrounding area, yet very reasonably priced. The hotel staff is gracious and accommodating. The hotel restaurant is a bit pricey for dinner, but a nice breakfast is included at no charge.

Slightly tired grand hotel

The grounds of the hotel are stunning. Main floor ceilings about 40 feet tall with polished marble floors...rooms are clean but old. Furnishings pretty stuffy. We did not get the rooms with the balcony, rather we faced the parking lot. This was possibly due to booking fairly inexpensively online. Breakfast was terrific. We chose to eat dinner at the hotel based on online reviews. This turned out to be a mistake. Food was ok, kind of homecooked ok, but overpriced. We had the 35 euro menu which consisted of 2 courses- I had duck salad ( mesclun with chopped duck and a sprinkling of balsamic) and braised beef (2 small slices of tasty braised beef with some potato and veg). It came with water and a glass of wine. There were only 3 tables of guests, despite the hotel being well-attended. That should have been a clue. I would stay again if the price was right, but would find someplace else to eat.

We stayed in junior suite. In my opinion it's better than suite, because it has nice terrace overlooking the park and the fountain. If you came for shopping the location is great. Only couple of km from the outlet, but at te same time in quite rural area. Hotel has great restaurant, service a bit slow though, so you need to be prepared to spend some time there. In overall, the best option to stay in the area.

Classy hotel on a convienient spot

Fantastic monumentary hotel in an excellent state with surprisingly comfortable rooms. The restaurant is of a very acceptable level with a friendly staff with a good knowledge of what they are offering. The hotel is very close to the highway on the route between Milan and Genua.
It is a convenient spot for travellers who need to be in the Eastern part of Genua.

The hotel was well used and slightly dated, for example the shower head was broken but minor things really. The place was very pleasant and comfortable. Not a lot to do for single people but good for a family. The hotel is literally 5 mins away from shopping outlets.
As a bonus there's a winery next door and you can buy reasonably priced wine to take away with you. Staff very very helpfull and nice. Definitely worth a stay. Only thing I found annoying was the SKY tv was totally in Italian which was a shame.... but then again we were in Italy!

It was with great pleasure that we discovered this cozy relaxing hotel. The stuff is extremely friendly, the rooms are nice. We got a nice room with balconyon the second floor, with an amazing view on the landscape of the countryside around Novi.
The bathrooms are completely renewed, the rooms are extremely clean and neat. Definitively recommended.

Les avis étaient trés bon. On a recherché dans nos critères : tranquillité propreté, très bon petit déjeuner et tout près de notre lieu. Et un balcon avec vue sur le parc.
Nous arrivons en fin de soirée, un tres bon accueil du réceptionniste souriant qui parle très bien notre langue. Et nous donne toutes les explications. Nous montons dans notre chambre au 1er étage et pas loin de l entrée de l'ascenceur, je me dis ça y est nous sommes mal tombé, car près de la sortie, donc passage de toutes les chambres et une climatisation est en marche dans ce couloir et bruyante. On arrive dans la chambre la aussi climatisation bruyante, heureusement on a pu l arrêter et ouvrir la baie donnant sur une tres grande terrasse vue magnifique sur un parc trés bien entretenu. La chambre est tres propre,un peu déçu hôtel .com nous avait donné une superficie plus grande,mais reste grande par rapport à une standard. Al'heure de se coucher, on entend les gents un peu parler fort. Puis un oiseau, avec un cri strident dans le parc, pendant plus d une heure, j'ai du mal à m'endormir. j'ai laissé ouvert la fenêtre pour ne pas mettre cette clim. Mais la clim dans le couloir fait énormément de bruit et ça bourdonne .il est tard, tt le monde dort j arrive enfin à m'en dormir à force.Dans la nuit, un bruit sur le balcon, le vent s'est levé et la chéneau en métal, il faut fermer le fenêtre, le bourdonnement de la clim du couloir. Quelle nuit! le matin on est réveillés des enfants court dans le couloir

La villa è meravigliosa e si trova in una posizione splendida. Bellissimo il giardino e bellissimi gli interni e gli arredi, anche della camera. Buona la colazione ma darei più attenzione ai prodotti del territorio
I bagni ampi sono un pochino datati ma mi hanno detto che è in programma la ristrutturazione
Appunto: in un 4 stelle la dotazione per gli ospiti è un po' poverella...

C'est la troisième fois que nous allons à cet endroit et nous y retournerons avec plaisir à chaque visite au centre commercial Serra Valle Factory Outlet. Il est bien situé, c'est tranquile et nous pouvons y dîner le soir sans avoir à sortir. La cuisine est délicieuse. Les chambres sont propres, bien meublées et la literie est de qualité.

Seuls reproches:
1-les 2 apéritifs très chiche. 1 Spritz avec 3/4 de glaçon dans le verre et une demi flûte de proseco!
2-Pas de menu en Français au restaurant. Heureusement qu’une serveuse a fait beaucoup d’effort et de patience pour nous donner quelques explications.

С первого взгляда отель кажется красивым замком, больше напоминающим музей. Красивая территория. Но это все.
Худший номер за все время путешествий! Ужасная твердая кровать и такая же подушка. В первый раз в жизни, после сна болели ребра. Одеяло напоминает, что вы в плацкарте- простынь и пыльное тонкое одеялко наверх. Обстановка в общем и целом очень аскетична. Очень пыльно, если у вас проблемы с алергией, будете чихать постоянно. Отдельно хочется сказать про завтраки- очень скудные. Отдельно нужно просить омлет и что больше всего удивило- овощи. Их просто на завтраке нет. Куча хлеба, масло, 2 вида ветчины, водянистые иогурты- это все что вы увидите в ассортименте.
Единственный плюс этого отеля- это близкое местонахождение к аутлету Серравалле.
