1. Service desk did not even know that we were coming.
2. The booking did not match the Room we got.
3. Book a queen size bed but got a Twin bed instead.
4. Property was dirty, sheets were not changed and full of stains.

Very old and run-down, facilities including showers are toilets are completely broken down. Inadequately lighting in the rooms. No amenities provided not even towels - you have to ask for one. The staff especially at the reception are rude and unfriendly. It's also very inconveniently located and there are no taxis. It is not value for money at all.

This hotel has passed its glory days; everything was rusty and outdated- showers, pool, elevators… towels were dirty and there was only 1 towel everyday even we asked for two because of two person. Most of the staff was unfriendly and didn’t speak English. No free shuttle or gym as was promised in the internet page. Hotel never answered to the rmails.

You can take a hot shower (or a warm or cold one) any time of the day in a town where the residents often go without water from their faucets for weeks at a stretch.

Ridiculous!!!!!

Ridiculous. I thought I booked an executive room. I got sent in a standard room. As if this was not enough, when I got in, I had no parking and I was asked to park a bit far from the gate. My booking was not confirmed and I had to wait for the lady to call and confirm the room type. At the end, I had a standard room with leaking taps, phone not working (had to go to the front desk to order room service) no chair for the main desk. Tired of this. Not sure if I'll book here again. Ridiculous.

All except for one lovely lady tending the bakery the Staff was rude and acted inconvenienced when we needed something. Extra undisclosed charges. We ordered pizza for 15 and got two small pies. We were told it would take 11/2 hours to get two more. Drinks came after we were done eating.

Relatively isolated hotel

The building, built in the late 1960s, has seen better days. While it may be one of the better hotels in Yaounde (no basis for comparison), it falls short of today's international standards. Staff were a bit diffident, rooms need updating, corridors were dark and, all and all, it was an acceptable but not particularly pleasant stay. I don't think there was value for the money.

Convenient golf hotel

Globally good, despite moving from one room to an other to get the best internet wifi connection at the expense of a view on the golf course and the town. Internet connection is poor in any room even if you choose a room as close as possible to the router (i.e. on the 4th floor room 433 and suite 434 are the best spots but you are still not able to access to videos on youtube) I managed to move to room 433. The room is very clean, but the shower is leaking so the small bathroom (get rid of the 'bidet'!) is wet almost the whole day. Room service is ok, and the breakfast buffet is great with a big variety of local dishes. I like this hotel because of its location on the mountain, far from urban pollution, and its easy access to the golf course

Big need for staff training & improved supervision

Average quality of the room because of the old furnitures and limited amenities. The only real advantage of the hotel is its location on Mont Febe allowing a beautiful view on the town of Yaounde and avoiding downtown pollution. Service quality is below common standards: slow and not fully reliable. Big need for renovation of furnitures, carpets and curtains. Avoid room 421.

Tired hotel but good view

If you want to be in the middle of town, this is not the hotel for you as it's quite far out, but located on one of Yaounde's 7 hills and has a great view over the city. The hotel itself is very tired - they are beginning (well overdue) renovations, and the rooms on the 6th and 7th floor have already been done. I didn't stay in them, but the rest of the hotel certainly isn't 4*. It's acceptable, but nothing special.

Beautiful respite from hectic Yaounde

I really disagree with some of the negative reviews here. My room - with a balcony and golf view, which I highly recommend paying for - was beautiful, with a comfortable bed and a good work space, and an amazing view - nice to come back to after a long day. Excellent shower. Huge pool, very good for swimming laps, and open late. The gym on the other hand is not at all appealing. The hotel is about 20 min outside of town, but there is nothing appealing and affordable in town, so this is your best option (I've tried 3 other hotels in town and will definitely go back to Mt Febe).

The hotel was obviously very nice and chic in its day but now needs much work to get it back to that level.Breakfast dining room poor and qualit of food poor.Standard of english in reception not very good.Business Centre is not well stocked and equipped and pricey

Même si le cadre est très agréable, dans la verdure avec une très belle vue, ça reste un très vieil hôtel n'ayant jamais été rénové depuis les années 1970.
Porte de salle de bain qui ne se ferme pas, il manque des carreaux, la moquette date d'un autre âge. Même pas une théière ou une bouilloire en chambre, absolument rien de fourni. Hôtel à fuir!

Renovation is urgently required. No towels, you have to ask seemingly every day for towels. No idea why it is like that.
Prices are European, standard is very low, rices are not justified.
Breakfast is simple, price for this offer far too high.
Prostitutes at the bar in the evening who offer their services are accepted.

Comportement de certains employés surtout à la réception pas du tout professionnel. De plus les gens sont jugés par leur apparence et des à priori. La qualité de service sur différents aspects découle donc de ce jugement. Séjour que je dirai moyen dans l'ensemble. Beaucoup d'amélioration à effectuer en terme de qualité de service surtout pour un hôtel de ce standing (4 étoiles) avec sa réputation et son image

Un habitué du mont Fébé! A part la literie qui n’est pas mauvaise, la chambre manque d’un rafraîchissement surtout la salle de bain. L’atout majeur de cet hôtel c’est la vue et la piscine. Je n’ai presque pas manger a l’hôtel car la carte est restreinte et en plus il n’y a pas toujours les disponibilités, de plus c’est très cher pour le Cameroun ( poisson braisé a 12000-15000cfa alors qu’en ville vous trouverez pour 2000cfa ) le buffet PDJ pareil cher pour ce que s’est. Le personnel est adorable a l’exception des réceptionnistes, si vous voulez un sourire de leurs parts il va falloir vous armer de patience. Pour conclure, c’est un bon hôtel pour juste dormir, profiter de la vue et de la piscine.

Le dimanche de 12h à 18h, impossible de se reposer dans cet hôtel. Autour de la piscine est organisé un buffet avec de la musique à fond et des jeux pour enfants. L'animateur hurle dans le micro. Un cauchemar... De plus, on m'a attribué une chambre au 1er étage alors que l'hôtel était presque vide ; du coup j'étais aux premières loges...

Hotel tres bien situé pour se reposer à Yaoundé
Le personnel est tres gentil , le restaurant est parfait, toute la cuisine est tres tres bonne car nous sommes restés une semaine et avons goûté à Beaucoup de plats. (attention le Tout aux conditions de l'Afrique à Ne Surtout pas oublier )

Tarifs non respectés et cartes de prix non disponi

Point de vue confort, rien à redire. Literie et surtout sanitaires impeccable.
Mauvais point question organisation: les cartes des repas disponibles dans les chambres ne corresondent pas aux tarifs du restaurant, et on a voulu en profiter pour 9000 CFA (sur une facture de 25000). Même le directeur du restaurant n'a pas voulu en tenir compte, disant qu'il avait demandé que ces menus de chambre soient retirés (mais ne l'avaient pas été, c'est sont problème). Je comptais rester quelques jours de plus, je m'en suis abstenu.

There is no bottle of water provided, the room is not bad but not too good, but the view from the hotel was nothing better than any other hotel that i stayed in Cameroon. It's fabolous. Def, recomend it.

L'Hôtel n'avait pas réservation à l'arrivée. J'ai passé une nuit dans une chambre de qualité inférieure avant d'obtenir ma chambre définitive. Il y avait une taxe supplémentaire à payer, non mentionnée dans la réservation. Certains membres du personnel sont très professionnels, mais d'autres beaucoup moins... Vérifiez bien si votre réservation a été prise en compte par téléphone, et le décompte des frais à payer sur place! Petit déjeuner de qualité (9500 XAF) restaurant tout à fait correct. Le buffet à midi est d'une qualité variable.

Intertour Cameroun sont des malhonnêtet...J'ai fais une réservation pour la saint Valentin une chambre avec Vue sur le Golfe Mais arrivé à hôtel la réceptionniste très impolie me dit que je ne pouvais pas être dans la chambre que j'ai payé....J'ai était finalement installé dans ma chambre grace à l'intervention de la manager.....Mais l'agence intertour Cameroun sont des malhonnêtet

Grand et bel hôtel au charme désuet

Hôtel très bien placé avec une vue magnifique sur le golf et toutes une partie de Yaoundé, en hauteur moins de pollution.
Dommage que l'établissement ait vieilli et que le fitness center soit géré par un tiers extérieur à l'hôtel.

Mont Fébé 2ème fois

C'est hotel n'est pas aux standard s européens. Oui il mériterait une rénovation complète. Mais la localisation a l ecart sur la coline a qq centaine de mètres du palais présidentiel fait de lui la 1Er choix en terme de sécurité. Pour ceuxnqui ont les moyens je conseille le Hilton mais les prix sont quasi doublé.
