Hotel was fully accommodating to allow us to leave bags in the morning when we arrived and return after the match at 23:00 to check in.

Nice 3 star hotel close to train station and UBahn. Clean and correct, decent breakfast, good value for money. I rented a \"suite\" and it came with a nice size bathroom (including tub!), lounge area with couch and tv, and nice sized bedroom. A fan was included; as the sign on the door says - AC would make the hotel a 4 star and more expensive. The fan worked very well and was quiet. Only conplaint is the bed is really hard, just a plain stiff mattress, not comfortable. If there had been a mattress topper to make it a bit softer, then this would be a 5 star review. Still a nice place in the middle of the city.

My home away from home in Düsseldorf. Only thing missing is a reliable WiFi signal in the single room I staid in. It's in the periphery of the property, so that could be particular to this room, and a repeater should do the trick.

Little hotel punching way above its weight. Great staff, my room was really spacious, clean. I am a return offender, this place is starting to feel like home ;-) Also great that they have the VRR public transport ticket for 4€ / day, which lets you get around everywhere in the area of the VRR, which covers a lot of ground. A great deal for everybody using public transport.

Room was comfortable, very clean,but maybe a little small. hotel convenient for station.& local U-bahn.
Breakfast was good, but on one of the two days there was a lack of free tables in the breakfast room, and also a lack of knives, forks, cups.
Was a good hotel to be able to book during carnival weekend.

the hotel is undergoing some renovation, which is a good thing as rooms are outdated. The rooms look nothing like in the picture, old beds and empty walls, but I assume all is due to the renovations. The bathroom is the best place of the room.

Hotel is very convenient for main train station, underground and buses. Old town is 10-15 mins walk or two stops on underground (which is very near). Breakfast was good value. We had a fourth floor room which was warm, quiet and comfortable. Reception staff were friendly and helpful.

Hotel Weidenhof

The hotel is a short 5 min stroll to the main train station or one stop on the underground with the stop right outside the hotel door, the old town and riverfront is a 15 minute walk so 2 stops on the underground so the location and transport links for this hotel are great.

The hotel itself was perhaps a little dated with it's decor but that's all superficial, my room was ready on my arrival even tho it was only 12:15 so that was good, the breakfast was marvellous with a really good choice, the hotel is on a busy main road at the front so request a room at the back as there is no air-con so you will need a window open to sleep in the hot summer months, a fan was provided however which helped.

The hotel is in the Asian sector of the city with lots of restaurants and cafe's around which are both Germanic and Asian so there are plenty of places to eat nearby, just round the corner are 2 nice bars if you want a few drinks not too far from the hotel.

All in all I would recommend this hotel and I would be more than happy to stay here again.

Convenient, friendly & quiet in Dusseldorf

This hotel is clean, quiet, friendly and very convenient at a very good price. All members of the staff were friendly and helpful. A nice buffet breakfast included in the room price is an added plus. Many Japanese, Korean and a super German restaurant surround it. Furthermore, it is located within easy walking distance to the railroad station (with regular train service to the airport), the shopping area, the opera, the entertainment district and the Rhine river walk. Going to a trade show? The U-Bahn subway to the Messe (exhibition complex) is just around the corner. Simple, with excellent total value.

Hotel Weidenhof Visit

This is a simple hotel with a clean and very friendly and helpful hotel staff. The location is conveniently located next to the Oststrasse U-Bahn station and is less than 5 minute walk to the Dusseldorf Central train station which made connections to/from the airport very simple. It's also a scenic 10 minute walk to the Altstadt (or shorter if you use the U-Bahn). Breakfast was fresh daily.

The bathroom was spacious and had a lot of hot water. The hotel is very close to the Hauptbahnhof (main train station) and on the same block as an U-Bahn (metro/subway) station. The continental breakfast was filling (there was plenty of food).

The wifi experience could be improved. Each guest in my party was given a pass to log into the wifi, but it only works on one device. So, someone with a phone and a laptop will need to ask for two passes.

i’ve stayed here for nine days!! In this Hotel what i love about it the staff is friendly and very helpful where am i about to go somewhere they very willingly to help
i came here after a very long flight i arrive around 7 to 8am which my check itime is 3pm yet the Lady Staff later told me i can checked in early and they give me a double room for the whole stay how lucky or how nice of them for the generosity and hospitality their breakfast is great even i’m not a big eater and overall this Hotel is near whereabout you want to go from restaurants cafes shopping malls and all the places of excitement

I stayed for one night while visiting Dusseldorf. The hotel is very conveniently located, I was able to walk there in just a few minutes when I arrived in Dusseldorf at the central train station, and I was able to walk all around the city center from the hotel. There are plenty of restaurants, bars, shops, etc. nearby. The staff is very friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Dusseldorf in a budget-friendly hotel that is well cared for and conveniently located.

I booked this hotel as a last minute thing where the rest of my party were in a sold out hotel. I did ask on arrival if there was WiFi available and the receptionist said that they did not have WiFi, the next day I turned my WiFi signal on my computer on to see that one of the offered connections was 'Hotel Weidenhof', I returned to reception where they did then issue me with a username & Password to connect but I lost a night of connection.
Room was compact but not tiny.
no coffee making facilities though which was a little disappointing.
TV signal not great but not the reason I was travelling!
Minor, but it felt quite old school to have to carry around a key attached to a largish key-ring as opposed to a key card. Wasn't really an issue in the daytime as had my laptop bag with me but at night it filled a pocket.

Overall I'd say that the hotel fulfilled a function, and it was pleasant enough but don't expect many frills.

I had a nice clean room that was big by European city hotel standards. Comfortable bedding, big flat screen TV. The only odd thing was there were no amenities at all - not even soap. This hotel could probably earn an extra star with just a little effort.

Das Hotel ist schon was älter, aber das ist nicht schlimm. Alles war sauber und gepflegt, das Zimmer nicht riesig, aber vollkommen ausreichend für einen Städtetrip. Der Bahnhof, die Innen- und Altstadt gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Das japanische Viertel direkt nebenan. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und hatten nichts zu beanstanden. Das gesamte Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir würden wieder dort buchen.

Das Hotel liegt nur einen kurzen Fussmarsch von der U-Bahnstation Oststrasse entfernt. Auch die bekannte Altbierbrauerei Schumachers ist nicht weit entfernt

Der check-in ging sehr schnell und der Mitarbeiter war sehr freundlich. So wie alle dort im Hotel. Das Zimmer war recht klein, aber es war alles vorhanden. Es gibt keine Klimaanlage.Das Frühstück war reichhaltig.

They have this very heavy doors that even shake the walls when close, so you wake up every time your neighbours come back late at night or leave early.

By the way, there were stains on the toilet lid. We could not sit without putting toilet paper.
In addition, the hotel held us responsible for their own 50 years ago design bathrooms with a message that the floors were wet after leaving the hotel. A terrible hotel.
