I stopped by Dueren on my way to see a friend in the area and needed a place to stay. The hotel was near the train station and the right place. It is a traditional German hotel that has been updated. The breakfast was definitely worth the price. Definitely on my places to stay if I find myself back here.

Room had a stinging wasp nest outside which caused dozens of flying insects to enter the room in the early morning. The light near bed was full of dead wasps. They were large snd aggressive. It was really terrifying. We kept windows after first two nights but rooms was very stuffy snd uncomfortable. After first night I notified the hotel front desk and they later told me they had no sign of any insects. We complained, showed photos and they did not show any concern. I was told that the city government did not allow the hotel to exterminate the wasp nest . We were stuck for six nights. No other hotels available, no room change snd no card from hotel manager. We paid in advance. We finally just kept the windows closed tight but with no ventilation it was terribly uncomfortable but better than having dozens of stinging wasps frenzied in the room. Please save future guests this nightmare.

There was a smell of mould in the corridor on the ground floor around the reception area. However, the rooms we freshly redecorated and new furniture were installed. The bed was comfortable and soft.

A bit of a mixed review. We were disappointed that the bar and restaurant were closed because of Covid. If they can practise social distancing for breakfast, why not dinner? Other than that, the hotel was very comfortable, although the wifi wasn’t great. We’d stay again though.

When we booked in the lady said we had not paid, after (she) done some flicking around in folders looking at various papers ???? she still said we had not paid. I showed her the booking and even my bank statement. So after getting the manager she looked on the computer and said yes it had been paid. The room was nice, no air conditioner but had a large fan. The town itself is interesting, I wouldn't want to walk around at night. Found a lovely restaurant, and brought some beer from the shop across the road (from the restaurant) room had a fridge. No English TV just 2 x business news channels. great towels.

Bra personal som ger bra bemötande. Parkering kostar 9 Euro som jag uppfattade att det ingick på övernattning, annars hade jag stannad. Rum är värd pengarna men duschen var inte särskilt varm med vatten. Annars jätte bra, parkering är lite trångt.

Room was far too warm (30 degrees Celsius) on an average summer day 25 degrees Celsius). No air condition. Was sweating and felt very uncomfy. A clear dealbreaker. The area is not safe (drugs etc.) Would not recommend, though the staff was nice and the breakfast quite good.

Das Hotel ist etwas \"in die Jahre gekommen\", aber das Verhältnis von Preis und Leistung war in Ordnung. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Mein Zimmer war hell, sauber und ruhig. Bad mit Tageslichtfenster.

Leider war beim Frühstück keine Brötchen vorhanden und keine Teller, keine Löffel für Müsli und kein Tisch abgeräumt von den vorherigen Gästen damit quasi kein Platz war zum sitzen. Als dies angesprochen wurde bei dem Küchen Personal wurde man frech angemeckert das nicht alle gleichzeitig möglich ist.

Das Hotel renoviert nach und nach die Zimmer, wir hatten noch eins im 90er Jahre Chic. Aber es war alles soweit ok. Wobei ich nicht ganz verstanden habe, warum in unserem Zimmer zum Bad eine teildurchsichtige Glasscheibe eingebaut wurde. Null Privatsphäre auf dem Klo 😅... Nun ja.... Aber alle Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich 😊

Parkmöglichkeit war unbefriedigend, da Tiefgarage und Parkdeck in einer dunklen Seitengasse gelegen war und das Rolltor nicht mehr funktionierte. Kein gutes Gefühl, dort sein Auto abzustellen (Diebstahl, Vandalismus etc.) Dafür 9 € ist nicht gerechtfertigt.

Das Hotel war recht leicht zu finden und liegt in einer Einkaufsstraße. Der PKW Parkplatz liegt hinter dem Gebäude und es muss sich ein Zugangscode für das Parkdeck am Empfang geholt werden (7,50€/Nacht). Von Außen sieht das Hotel ganz nett aus, leider ist die Stufe vor dem Eingang voll mit Vogelkot. Der Empfang ist sehr nett eingerichtet und das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Flure und der Aufzug sind schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen und könnten mal eine Renovierung vertragen. Das Zimmer war ganz nett eingerichtet, leider gibt es keine Klimaanlage was im Sommer zu einem warmen Zimmer führt. Bis auf ein paar Papierschnipsel unter dem Bett und etwas Staub auf dem Boden war das Zimmer sauber und gepflegt. Im Bad war die Decke nicht richtig gemalt und es hing ein Spotlicht aus der Decke. Leider ist es Nachts durch die Straße und die Autoposer etwas lauter.
Das Frühstück war nett angerichtet, ausreichend in der Auswahl und wir empfanden es als lecker.

Das Hotel liegt am Rand der Innenstadt. Es sind etwa 500 m zum Marktpatz und zum Rathaus und 400 m zum Bahnhof. Das Haus ist nicht neu, aber in gutem Zustand. Das Persona ist freundlich und entgegen kommend.

Sehr schön die Minibar mit einer gut gekühlten Flasche Mineralwasser. Auch das Frühstücksbuffett war gut und reichlich. Auf Wunsch wurden auch Spiegeleier zubereitet. Leider keine Klimaanlage, aber da das Zimmer nach hinten lag, konnte man über Nacht das Fenster offen lassen. We stayed here because it was on the road to further destinations. Because of the traffic we were a little late at the check in (22:30), but when I called on our way to the hotel to mention that, it wasn't a problem. In the morning we left. Our short stay was nice. The only 'not very good' thing was our matress. It was a little old so our backs went down in de matress.

Ik heb gekozen voor een klassieke kamer met een kingsizebed. Het was een normale zeer eenvoudige kamer met 2 losse normale befden. Er was wat schimmel in de kitranden van de douche. Ook bij het ontbijt moesten we de tafel delen met onbekenden. Het personeel was zeer vriendelijk maar de ligging was onprettig. Erg drukke straat en de hele nacht door het geluid van sluiten van afvalcontainers. Ook betaalde ik voor een parkeerplaatst boven op het dek maar de 2e dag was er geen plek meer dus maar betaald.
