Everything was perfect!
The mountains end Lake Sapança makes it an unforgettable experience.
There were activities for anyone wanting to join in.The swimming pool, the walking pats are beautiful,. Thıs hotel I would recommend to anyone wanting peace and quiet.

Great location, clean and friendly, excellent food

We really enjoyed our stay here, we stayed in the double deluxe room which had a good view of Sapanca lake. The food in the restaurant was delicious and the presentation was excellent. We also had great massages in the spa. The spa staff, one in particular, wasn't the most knowledgeable but the others were great.

The price for the rooms was horrible, checked into room, believed pics and it was a box. Had a 5 day stay planned, had to pay more than twice the price for barely an upgrade.
Staff were excellent , food was terrible, really terrible.
Property is beautiful, view is amazing.
Read reviews of others before booking seems like they were somewhere else.
BTW, shower flooded room first day, because it was not prepped for someone to stay, no shower walls and a drain outside that was on the highest point in room.
BTW, we rented 2 rooms on Q level there both had same issue.

Restoran fiyatlarındaki bir-iki tık abartı dışında her şey çok iyiydi. Otelden çıkmadan günlerce vakit geçirebilirsiniz. Kahvaltı açık büfesi çok geniş ve spa harika. Spa'daki çeşitlilik özellikle büyüledi. Masajdan da memnun kaldık.

Good spa hotel

We had two rooms next to each other, which was facing the restaurant; both rooms were comfortable and we were not bothered by the live music that was taking place downstairs. Hotel has a short walkway by the lake, a good garden, a nice outside pool and the spa is very nice. Overall clean and calm place. 1 hour and 45 min drive from european side of istanbul. Would stay again.

Relaxing and lovely Visit

Richmond Nua wellness-Spa is One of the best Hotels all over the world. The location is overwhelming it is a very safe place to stay located at the coast of the Sapanca lake and has a very relaxing atmosphere. The hotel allowed adults only that why I liked. Housekeeping and Room service are great. The Reception of the hotel is excellent we had quick check in, there is One Person in the reception Whom I must admire MR. OKAN. He was great Helpful, Humble with a Smiling face. Restaurants are rich and delicious food we had half board reservation, we had our dinner in the Aquacort Restaurant food was amazing and delicious and great service from both Mr. UMIT and Mr. TURAN they serve us with big smile and professionally way we really appreciate them. Congratulate you for having this great staff in this pleasant hotel, for sure I will come back again and recommend to every body.

Big disappointment: very hot room, uncaring staff

I will definitely NOT stay here again. The heating system in my room was broken; even though I set it to 20C, it stayed above 27-28 the whole night and gave me nightmares. In the morning when I complained to the reception desk they acknowledged this problem (apparently it happens frequently), but refused to compensate me in any way. They offered me free tea/coffee, which is laughable considering how much I paid for the room. I returned to Istanbul much more tired than I left. What a FIASCO. Next time I will pay a bit more to stay at a decent spa hotel in Istanbul.

ALERT! $exual harassment from a manager staff!

The resort was amazing and we thought we had a pleasant experience. It was a family reunion since I had not been able to see my family for few years.
We were sitting outside enjoying the sun and chatting, and my sister had to go back to get something from the room. She was stopped by a staff member at the room door (he was not house keeping because he was wearing manager outfit). The guy shook her hands and asked her if everything in the stay is good. The he wouldn't let go of her hand. Then he started asking her if she wants to go back inside the room, and went on to tell her that he can show her other fancy luxurious suites if she is not comfortable with our room. He was so insistent and obnoxious. The textbook definition of $exual harassment.
My sister has a strong personality and knew how force her way out, yell at him and put him in his place.
The thing is that she did not tell anyone because we were checking out of the hotel that day, and she did not want me and my parents to escalate things and ruin the nice trip we were having.
Now after I left Turkey, she had to tell me the story over the phone, because I was saying that we should go back to the same hotel when I visit Turkey next sprin
This is infuriating. I know that one bad apple is not a reflection of whole resort, but at the same time customers and Expedia need to know. I wouldn't feel safe spending time there or in there roomy secluded spa for example, knowing that there may be predators walking around.

Most relaxing, re energizing hotel

Hotel is located at the coast of lake Sapanca. Hotel has a very good running track if you prefer. SPA has incredible varieties. I just loved the ceramic beds and hot water beds. Only adults are allowed which is perfect since you do not want hear babies or infants crying around.

Hotel restaurant is rich and delicious. It also has fair prices.

Missing points are room kettle and free water. In Turkey tap water is not recommended.

An hotel with terrible service

Although i made my payment via expedia, stuff tried to charge me at first. Then they took us to the worst room where there is no light or fresh air and when i asked for a better room they told me that all the rooms are full but it was not and they finally change our room. Stuff at the restaurant are also rude and the meal was not good at all. Finally in the morning there was a poor breakfast and the first moments we were happy was when we checked out. Hotel with good ammenities but the worst service.

Great spa experience in a tranquil setting.

Had a lovely anniversary celebration with excellent spa treatments. The spa staff and the hotel staff were very helpful and professional. The hotel overlooks Sapanca lake and is very relaxing and quiet. This was our second time there and we will definitely return again.

Price performance

Although it is one of the first of its kind, it is extremely expensive when compared to the service you receive. The massage hours are booked way beforehand therefore you need to be quick. The pools and restaurants suffer from good service and empty spots when it gets crowded.

Staff is excellent, very friendly and helpfull. Massage was perfect. Spa area is a little bit small, osmanli bath should be bigger. Only negative thing is that alacarte restaurant is very very expensive like they fool you (i.e cup of soup is ₺18)

I've thoroughly enjoyed my week at the Richmond Nua Wellness Spa in Sapanca. The hotel is fine, the rooms spotlessly clean and comfortable, the staff fairly competent (if a bit lacking in communication in English or other European languages), the food enjoyable... and the SPA is the best part!

Everyday I've spent 2-3 hours in the tubs and various areas of the wellness that are all included in the room fee (as a lavish buffet breakfast is). I've also undergone a few treatments which were from beneficial to heavenly (particularly the Dream Lavender body massage performed by Serap and a basic Hammam treatment that was incomparable).

Special thanks to Sevil of the Guest Relations service for making my stay particularly comfortable and for competently meeting my requests.

Not as expected!!

If you are looking for a five star treatment this is not the right hotel to choose. Staff are not trained will, housekeeping never clean the room (they only make the bed!!). The good thing about it is that it is location, and spa.

The Hotel is nice and contemporary. Spa is open till 10pm. Breakfast lasts till 11am. Beds and cushions are comfortable. Mini bar and drinks are a little expensive. Outdoor pool area has hammocks around. The hotel is one and a half hour to Istanbul and 20 minutes to Kartepe Skiing area.

Very comfortable and relaxing hotel for couples

Hotel was great, the SPA, beach, pool, breakfast and overall service were all great. This is one of the best hotel I've seen for couples. It is definitely made for young couples, who need a getaway from the city. Only downsides were the price being too high and servers at the restaurant being a little slow.
