Lofts are awesome. Friendly staff.
Breakfast is very disappointing, but overall, great hotel.

The room was very small, but clean. The A/C did not work well and you must ask for room service.
Breakfast and snacks are in the lobby. Its a help yourself situation. You could have a bagel, cereal, yogurt, crackers, apples and oranges. Or whatever is avaliable that day.
The hotel had a great shower and was quite.

Our room was clean and location is great. The A/C didn’t work in our room.
Linda
Very welcoming, ample parking and very clean rooms. Will stay here every time we come to Cooperstown.
Kenneth
As close to perfect as a small inn can be. Clean and comfortable room, pleasant staff, ample parking, and only a three minute drive to the Baseball HOF.
Jennifer
Super cute property. Very clean & comfortable. While a little pricey it's proximity to downtown Cooperstown & the Baseball Hall of Fame made that worth it.
Mark
Very short drive to the HoF, easily walkable.
Kenneth
Beautiful landscaping w creek and covered picnic area
John
The staff was welcoming. The breakfast items and snacks were much appreciated. No cost. Located in a quiet area of town and within walking distance to the Hall of Fame. Also, great deli only a block away. Would definitely stay there again.
Thomas
Excellent hotel for a great price.
Cynthia
The inn is clean and the rooms are comfortable and nicely decorated. The breakfast area was well-stocked with cereal, yogurt, and snacks, which was very handy. The location is excellent, about a ten-minute walk from the Hall of Fame, so there’s no hassles with shuttles or expensive parking.
But this hotel was also noisy, mostly because of the wooden stairs—there are no elevators—and the apparent lack of soundproofing between floors. My first night there was quiet; the second was noisy because people in the room above seemed to be constantly walking. Also, staff was pretty much nonexistent. There was also a sign saying that there would be a surcharge for paying by credit card AND that staff kept no cash on-site. So, did that mean that you had to pay with exact change or pay the surcharge?

A nice surprise from our usual hotel rooms. Nice, quiet, and staff were friendly. Cooperstown is a beautiful town and home of the baseball hall of fame which was our primary reason for being there. Highly recommend the Railroad Inn

The rooms were well appointed, spacious, and clean. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The old railroad building was interesting. We enjoyed the peaceful setting. We also enjoyed 24 hour access to snacks, fruit, and coffee and bottled water.

Very very happy with our stay at The Railroad Inn. It was clean and super cute! The staff was so friendly and welcoming. We have decided this is the only place we will stay from now on when coming to the area to see our daughter at school. Just lovely!

Very clean. Rooms are modern, spatious, and cozy. Friendly staff. Parking was easy and accessible. Heat and ac worked perfectly
Callie
Pros: the rooms are aesthetically pleasing and clean. Location is great.
Cons: walked in to check in and had staff sitting behind a computer (no standing to greet or coming up to the desk at all) with her boyfriend sitting there eating wings. Got our room and it was frigid. Given how cold the weather was, it would have been nice for them to at least have the room at a base temperature but the heat was completely off. So cold - like under 60 degrees. Tried to turn on the heat, but it’s a complex remote with no instructions; my husband had to look up an instruction manual (and we are technologically competent). Finally got the heat in, but it took a long time for the room to reach a comfortable temperature (and we are upstaters who keep our house quite cool). Asked staff for additional blankets and all she could find was a single small throw blanket. How are there no additional blankets in a hotel?

Nadya
Very clean, staff was very helpful and kind. Our room didn’t have a blow dryer and the front desk woman was kind enough to get me a new one!
Eugene
Yes very clean courteous staff nice various selection breakfast food n snacks
Tim
Stayed there two nights last week. Relatively new place and the outside and inside look great. Staff was young but accommodating. Once checked in is when things got tripped up. The tv was broken in our room. Got a room switch. Climate control in the room (heat pump) was not working and the room was hot. Had to ask for more tp as the role was almost empty at check-in. Cable tv still did not work so I had to use my You tube tv account. There was a stink bug that found its way onto my sleeping girlfriend. Yikes, she was not happy! Walls are thin and lots can be heard from the hallway even though not many people were staying there. The bed was not the comfortable compared to the rest of the decor which is quite nice and thematic. Would I stay there again? Possibly is the best answer I can give.
Ronald
Parking and the location of the place are safe
James
Everything was great
Luigi
The place was great, kids loved they had their own loft.
Ricardo
Great stay as always!!!!!
Edward J
Great job renovating an old train facility into a cool inn! Helen was warm and wonderful, the rooms were pleasant and fun. Steps away from downtown Cooperstown (a fun walk, we passed because of the cold)... will come back and stay again!
Elisha
Beautiful
Brenda L
The lobby was clean and rustic. Just what I expected. The room was perfect.
Danielle
It is a comfortable and friendly place. Everything is clean and they offer snacks, drinks and easy breakfast items. The whole inn is decorated in sleek modern lines with whimsy of train decor. I would go back anytime. One small negative was the showers are rainshower style and they do not offer much pressure.
Dana
The rooms are always spotless and smell nice. The staff is very friendly. And the location is fantastic. I would highly recommend this location.
Susan
The breakfast food was fine. Plenty of healthy choices. It was all available 24 hours (along with other snacks) so it was veryconvenient.
The location was nice and quiet (at least in December). The staff was friendly and helpful.
The bed was comfortable, though I found the pillows a little hard for my taste. The ceramic tile on the bathroom floor was kind of chilly (won't be a problem in the summer months), but the water was nice and hot.

If you want to Cooperstown, it's a great place to stay walking distance to the Hall of Fame
Jennifer
The property is conveniently located to nearby areas of interest, well maintained. The staff were friendly, attentive and accommodating. They had a cute little setup at the entrance with coffee, beverages and snacks. Parking was convenient. Only complaint is that the insulation doesn’t reduce sound, it is easy to hear people walking through halls and upstairs.
Todd
Great staff , easy check in , allowed to check in an hour early
gail
Excellent front desk service
David
Room was clean no frills and could use some warmth
rhona
My husband and I enjoyed our stay in Cooperstown. Restaurants and the hall of fame were in walking distance from the Inn. The room was clean and everyone was friendly.
Sharon
Friendly staff, clean room
june
Excellent location, easy walking distance to numerous attractions, restaurants. Room very clean, comfortable , great bed. Loved that it was originally a train depot and they kept the history!
Melissa
AC in the room didn't work properly, was unbearably hot all night and we couldn't sleep. They have coffee and tea but no sugar for the coffee.
Danny
So the property was nice and I would stay here again... except, the hotel shut off the AC and the room was too warm overnight. So, I can't give it five stars.
Cynthia
Bathrooms are up to date, and the hot water comes quickly! We enjoyed learning the Inn was originally a railroad depot. Located on a pretty quiet street, with excellent blackout curtains. We had a lovely stay.
Jon
Clean comfortable room with easy access to the parking lot. The complimentary breakfast had quite a few options. The staff was friendly and provided a lot of dining options that we're a short drive away .
Pamela
Safe and quiet neighborhood, good off-street parking. Nice porch and seating area outside for morning coffee. Snack/Breakfast bar was open 24/7. Staff was friendly and helpful
Teresa
Had an amazing time in Cooperstown and the railroad Inn was a great place to stay.
paul
Staff was great and whole atmosphere was great!
Jill
The Inn enhanced our Cooperstown experience. Our room was clean, comfortable and historical, and staff was friendly and helpful. We could easily walk to the Baseball Hall of Fame, restaurants and shops. Breakfast was a simple, yet sufficient 24 hour offering of fruit, packaged snacks, bagels, juice and hot beverages. The porch and grounds are beautiful and offer a fire pit, outside seating areas and tables - unfortunately we went in fall and it was too cool for us to enjoy being outside long.
Chris
The room was very clean as well as the bathroom. The hotel itself smells nice and clean. We’ve stayed there several times and have never been disappointed.
Jim
This boutique Inn was very nice and the staff pleasant and helpful.
Lynne

We loved staying at the Railroad Inn for a weekend in Cooperstown! The service was excellent, the room was clean, comfortable and well-appointed, and the location was great. We’d definitely stay here again!

A nice comfortable stay that looked to be recently renovated. The hallway floor sounded hollow underneath but fortunately I was at the end of the long hallway and someone walking only woke me up once.
Paul
Room was very nice, and a very nice size. Had a great experience. I would recommend
