Wonderful and great value stay in a lovely hotel superbly located in centre of Marsala. Room was quiet and delightful with a private and spacious balcony on the roof. Breakfast room is spacious and decorated with original works of art, and the breakfast itself generous. Staff exceptionally helpful and attentive.

Best Western Hotel Stella goes the extra mile. Set in the center of beautiful Marsala, convenient to restaurants and the sea. Great location for eating shopping and taking in the beautiful sights of Marsala. Staff was attentive to every detail. They were professional, courteous, and friendly. Breakfast has ample choices fit for every taste. Rooms are spacious, clean and well maintained. We visited for a 3 night stay and had an amazing time in Marsala. A must.

Very difficult to get the hotel by car. No air conditioning in public spaces. When arrived, from desk refused to provide rooms. The only reason explanation we have, she the lady at the front desk was looking for a bribe. After we asked for a hotel manager, the rooms became available in minutes

An excellent hotel right in the centre. The valet parking service was a great help. The room was clean and well equipped. The staff were friendly and very keen to offer help. Breakfast had a good range of fresh, quality food. I don’t think you are going to do better than this hotel in the centre of Marsala. Just be prepared for a bit of a drive around the town to find it the first time you arrive.
The only thing I would suggest would be a few little pots of milk to go with the tea in the room.

Upon check in we were assigned room 203. This room is directly across the small street from a bar/lounge. That is legally allowed to play music, loud until one AM. I attempted to contact hotel staff at 10:30pm via room telephone, no answer. Spoke with staff in the morning and informed then in a round about conversation that they receive numerous complaints from prior quest staying room 203.

Amazing location for a stay in Marsala. Rooms were nice, but a bit small. Staff was very accommodating and let me check in early. I stayed in mid-September and the restaurant/bar was closed for the season, which was odd for a hotel of this caliber, but this was the case all around Marsala. Only complaints would be the size of the shower and air conditioning, which worked but not that well.

Great Hotel Experience
Excellent hotel with very professional and helpful front desk staff. The hotel has old school charm. It is very clean and located steps from the Cathedral and plaza with many places to shop and eat nearby. My sleeping room was spacious and clean and equipped with a compact refrigerator and a electric hot water kettle for coffee or tea. The bathroom was also roomy and well maintained. I would definitely stay at this hotel again. My compliments to the staff.

Perfect location for exploring the lovely city of Marsala! The staff was very nice and spoke English well enough to be helpful. They did not offer details on where to go specifically more just general information. Have a plan for seeing around and look up restaurants ahead of time. I highly recommend the restaurant Marinara just outside the old city wall! The fish is all fresh and the owners are very knowledgeable about local wine and super friendly. Oh and go to church if you are there on a Sunday! The music is beautiful!

A few days before we set out from Manchester, England, I called to discuss our room needs and was greeted by a lovely, professional and friendly person Ilenia. Ilenia Kindly answered all our questions and did so and a reassuring way. We were fortunate to meet Ilenia when we arrived and she came to greet us personally on arrival. It was such a personal touch and was lovely.
We checked in which was very quick and very easy. The reception team are brilliant, Ilenia, Angelo, Frencesco, Piero; they have time and courtesy to help you no matter what the problem is.
Our room was well appointed and had everything we needed. The standards of housekeeping and cleaning were excellent. Our room was always a welcome retreat, and very cool.

Room was re-modeled in a modern way, hot spots right next to the city center square. Also valet parking is available, if you follow the sign from piazza castello.

This Hotel is lovely. Parking was difficult but the reception staff parked our car for us and returned it on the day we left with no issues. We drove to the hotel and they provide a parking service, which is good as the roads are narrow. The room was large, clean and well appointed. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom modern and well laid out. You could not ask for a more central position.

The hotel is kind of ok. Staff at front desk are lovely and helpful. Parking was not an issue. Room spacious. The main issue is the room's smell and the severs stains on the carpet. Makes room look horribly old and dates. Also lobby has that white helogen bulbs that makes it look cheap. Breakfast was terrible but ok by Italian standards. I'd stay there again because it's the best option in Marsala

Centrally located hotel, very close to the Port and also the town. We received good service from all the staff, except for Jessica. She wasn't polite or helpful and when asked a question, made us feel like it was a huge deal to help us. The rest of the staff were really helpful. We were given an average room the first night, where the air conditioning wasn't working properly, however only when we changed on the last night, noticed how much better it could've been. Wifi is extremely slow even in the reception. Breakfast was decent with lots of cakes. Would've been better if they had hot food such as omelettes or scrambled eggs.

This is a functional hotel in a great position. The room was fine and we liked the terrace. The only suggestion is that the foyer and breakfast areas receive a little decorating attention to make them more welcoming and comfortable. The breakfast while adequate is not anything more than that. A little more variety would be a big improvement.

Our room was quirky having a bridge 'corridor' across the street, however this was the only form of natural light into the room so was kept in permanent gloom. We asked if we could move but our request was met with surprise as this room was apparently frequently requested!! Beats me as to why.. However the staff were charming and obliging which helped us overlook the tattiness and faults of the building. I would question the four star rating as we found a far superior three star hotel for our next trip to Marsala.

We really enjoyed it. Front Desk staff speaks English. Hotel is next to the city center Pallazzo where everything happens. My 17 year old son wanted to go to the beach, and the hotel offers a \"free of charge\" taxi service to/from their beach area which is about 4km from the hotel, and there is a really nice Gazebo restaurant, very reasonable. Beach chairs/umbrella 8 euros /day. Shopping/entertainment and excellent restaurants/cafes/wine bars surround the hotel. The ocean is 2 blocks away. So happy we chose this hotel, because the other hotels are out side the main city, and not in walking distance of the restaurants/cafes etc. So although you might be beach front you would not have access to the great shops/restaurants etc. Restaurants do not open until 7:30-8pm. Don't miss visiting the salt mines about 2miles away, and the local acheological museam which has the only known surviving Pheonician boat.

If you are in Marsala, you should stay here. We toured Sicily and stayed at 5 hotels, and this was out favorite. The hotel was a bit hard to drive to because it is in a pedestrian zone. So we had to park outside the area, and the walk-in. Then, the very friendly front desk people told us they had a parking lot and gave us (difficult) directions to their private lot. The hotel is in the center of town across from the cathedral. Nice room, nice breakfast...but the adjoining building was doing construction. and they started work ontime at 7am. (ugh). Cant fault the hotel for that. Also....We left some clothes in the hotel and instead of sending them to us, they insisted on driving them to our next destination which was in Palermo (about 2.5 hours away)....So they won my heart with their wonderful customer service!!! You will not be disappointed in this hotel.

The hotel is located in the center of Marsala with all its restaurants, bars and shops, but you dont hear anything when you close the windows.

On arriving very late after getting lost we were greeted with dont worry about the car it will be dealt with and very efficient check in understanding that we were exhausted. Breakfast was quite plentiful for european breakfast. and coffee was always served with a smile and mind you good coffee. The hotel was central to everything. If you felt like going out of the city the car was bought round for you in 10 mins and if you didnt they could always recommend you where to eat and what to do. The staff from the kitchen to the front desk were wonderful. I was with my 9 years old daughter and they all treated her like a princess. Would definately go back without hesitation and highly recommend it. Only drawback was to find it as at night you cannot drive thru the city but that was half the fun. ......Buon lavoro ragazzi - Auguri. .........

I cannot recommend the Stella D'Italia highly enough. Whilst slightly tricky to find (Marsala not easy to navigate by car!) the hotel was great. Superb location off the main square with good restaurants nearby. The hotel itself is great, but the quality of service was FANTASTIC. Our luggage had been lost at the airport and the hotel manager went beyond the call of duty to try to locate this for us - ringing every airport in Sicily!

Perfect location for a short visit
You don't need too many days to visit most of the attractions of Marsala so you need a good location. The Best Western Stella D'Italia has the perfect location just off the main square but quiet enough for a good nights sleep. Recently modernised, tastefully decorated and interesting art, sculptures and paintings on display.
The staff couldn't do enough to help, even offered to serve breakfast in our room as the hotel wasn't very busy. My wife loved the shops nearby and spent a fortune on new clothes; that was the only downside.

Comfortable stay in heart of Marsala
The only negative thing about this hotel was that it took a while to find, as it is very central and lots of one way streets to get there.
On the plus side the room was clean and comfortable, which made for a relaxing base in Marsala. The staff were very friendly and parking wasn't an issue, as there was a garage that the porters moved the car to.

Other than the fact it was hard to find by car we had no complaints whatsoever. Check in was fine, they valet parked our car, room was comfortable, our (shared) terrace had a fine view. Some room service drinks were good value and arrived promptly and the staff made a nice restaurant booking for us. Can't really go wrong.

The staff was charming and helpfull. Breakfast was good and the room a good size. Bed was on the hard side but many of them are. The room in general and bathroom in particular had a bit of a smell (coming from the dragon/sewer. Would stay here again.

Ottima la location, nel pienissimo centro di marsala, ristorantini e quant'altro a pochi passi, ottima la disponibilità ed il servizio del personale dell'albergo per quanto è un poco difficoltoso arrivare con l'auto, ma il personale tutto si prodiga per evitare ogni piccolo problema, ottimo il servizio di car valet, ottima anche la colazione e SPETTACOLARE il riposo, con un materasso all'altezza della tradizione BW; forse potrebbero essere arricchiti gli articoli da toeletta! Riassumendo, ci tornerei sicuramente e mi sento di consigliarlo vivamente!!!
