Beautiful wine resort. Peaceful and very welcoming. Staff were lovely. Fantastic pool and terrace to have lunch/drinks, and the most lovely courtyard for dinner which was delicious. Great wine tasting . Cannot fault this property, unfortunately we only had 1 night there but we were unexpectedly upgraded to a junior suite which was amazing. Highly recommend !! 5*

A lovely place to stay with amazing sunset’s & views. Would highly recommend for a short getaway & produced some amazing wine. If you’re looking for a quality stay with good food & wine it’s well worth the stay. Staff were very friendly & has an amazing pool area. While we were there in early July it was quite quiet & we were able to enjoy the pool with hardly anybody else there. Nice wine tasting as well!

We rode complimentary bicycles one day that was great. They also found out that it was my birthday and they gave us a great cake at dinner and then saved the rest for the next day. When we went to get the cake the next day they gave us a new one because the other cake was a day old. Very nice. Dinner was delicious, as was the wine and complimentary after dinner drink. The resort was amazing but the breakfast was more so. All of the staff were nice, friendly and helpful. You won’t be disappointed if you spend any time here

This is a beautiful property in the wine country just outside of Marsala. Our room was comfortable, the furniture was updated, the toiletries provided were from Ortigia, and the bed and pillows were comfortable. The views are spectacular from all areas of the resort.

This is a beautiful hotel with a stunning courtyard for meals, a fabulous swimming pool under a tower with a view towards the sea. The staff are all so friendly and helpful - especially at the bar! Great breakfasts and bar food available. We ate twice in the courtyard restaurant which was great but we think most guests would agree with us that they also need to offer simpler dishes than the fancy fare on the menu. Some simple pasta, pizza and salad dishes would be nice too.
Our bedroom was nice with firm comfy bed and good aircon but (small gripe) the bathroom was far too small and had nowhere to put toiletry bags.
But overall the hotel is BEAUTIFUL, the service is great and we would highly recommend!

This is an extraordinary hotel and wine resort. The arrival was so welcoming, the entrance barrier allows staff to be alerted ready to welcome. Check-in easy online. Room perfectly adequate if a little small. Swimming pool and facilities good, food delicious and service knows no bounds. Ate twice as so good. But the view is pure delight at sunset

The pool area and bar were lovely - very relaxing - as they were hosting a wedding the evening meal was also overlooking the pool with breakfast back in the courtyard. The highlight was the wine tasting tour. Great stopover in our 10 day tour of Sicily

Lovely location and beautiful architecture. Rooms were nice too. No VIP access upgrade even though other rooms were available and the wifi signal was terrible in many parts of the property, including in the room and many of the outside areas. Staff were nice, but not overly friendly. Value for money was sadly lacking as there are nicer hotels for less elsewhere.

Fantastic hotel. I stayed twice already, first in 2017 and then in May 2021. The hotel is really beautiful, immersed in nature and with incredible views on the sea and on the Egadi’s islands. The staff is super helpful across the board, from the reception ladies to the waiters. We did also the wine tasting and it was a great experience. Food overall (breakfast, lunch and dinner) is delicious. It is really a little corner of paradise. I will definitely go back a third time!

This is a great place for a relaxing stay with good food and a lovely view ... but we had to share the hotel with a huge wedding that took over many of the public areas so as non-wedding guests we felt awkward being there. The wedding had a live band playing loud music until 1am with a booming bass beat. We could hear and feel it in our bedroom so could not sleep until it was over. It was like being in a hotel next to a night club. The bedroom was good but we discovered underwear belonging to a previous guest. Also we had to get the AC repaired when we arrived - the hotel lacked the attention to detail one would expect of a 5* establishment. The pool was great with a view across the salt flats - spoilt only by me cutting my finger on sharp metal on a sun lounger. I would not recommend this hotel as the management are more interested in making money from weddings than running a 5* hotel

We enjoyed Baglio Oneta immensely. The resort was a bit out of the way from other attractions, but we came to understand that as we toured the area. It was too cold to use the pool, but when the sun was out and the wind not blowing, it was comfortable. We walked around the property and off of it and if there was a walking itinerary it would be better suited for walking. There was no concierge and the front desk was not equipped with any lists of things to do in the area. As it turns out watching the wind surfers out in the shallow bay was very interesting. And the food was excellent, breakfast and the prix fixe dinners.

Our room was well appointed and the grounds are beautiful. All our meals were excellent and while it is a little diificult to find (more signs!) it is well situated for day trips in western Sicily.

Beautiful grounds. Owner/manager was getting married the first night we stayed so there were over 300 people for the wedding. The staff was def preoccupied with that and our dinner took almost 3 hours, 40 minutes to get our wine and take our order. Food was mehhhhhh. Definitely had better in Marsala. Front desk was not helpful and actually a bit arrogant. For $240/night, go elsewhere, you will be appreciated. Was never offered any wines, tastings, nothing.

The place is beautiful. Beautiful garden and pool. Great view of the vineyards and ocean. Common areas well-decorated. Great breakfast. The only issue we had was the wait for dinner. It took almost 50 minutes for the food to come out - our kids were hungry and falling asleep. But the hotel service people are nice and apologetic. Would come back and recommend this place to friends.

A Truly Fantastic Spot
Our only regret was that we only booked for one night. If we had to do it over again, we would add a couple of days given the relaxing nature of the hotel. The staff was super helpful, friendly and always available. Their recommendation that we join the wine tasting ended up being a highlight of our stay. The layout of the hotel is super -- a variety places to sit, relax, swim or just have a snack and a glass of wine. The pool was great and the meals were fantastic. Breakfast had way many tasty options and dinner at the hotel is a must. We definitely hope to return again!

The hotel is located near a vineyard in a beautiful castle. So beautiful and romantic. We ate dinner an it was mediocre for such a luxurious place. The wonderful breakfast was some compensation. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Top notch hotel in an idyllic setting. This is a special place with beautiful gardens, olive groves and vineyards. It's remote, quiet and a treat to stay here. Breakfast was great served in an elegant dining area. You will feel pampered here.

Baglio Oneto is a lovely old Sicilian dwelling converted into a resort in the peace and quiet of the countryside and yet only 10 mins from Marsala and 25 mins from Trapani. The staff were lovely and always helpful. My only complaint is that I felt the room to be quite cold and i wasn't able to set the room temperature as it was still set on summer air conditioning and all rooms had to be changed to heating at the same time. I was told that this is always a problem in October with the change of season. If you are looking for a quiet and beautiful oasis where you can relax, this is the place for you.

The hotel is so relaxing. The rooms are comfortable and stylish with all that one requires. Staff are extremely attentive and friendly. The food is really good, with a nice breakfast buffet and to die for dinner. Parking facilities no issues as they have ample space. A car is required when staying in this hotel. I cannot fault anything with this hotel. I will definitely return and also recommend it.

This is a stunningly located hotel with views of Erice and the Egadi islands, We enjoyed walking around the vineyard before dinner and having a drink on our veranda overlooking the sea. The waitstaff were attentive and the dinner was delicious, as was the breakfast. The room was very nice, though the internet was in and out, which was a bit odd for this level of hotel.

Booked this hotel relatively late for a break for my 50th birthday. Also had a hire-car which was invaluable to get around, as the location is a bit remote! Hotel was very comfortable and the staff were excellent. If anything, it lacked a little bit off atmosphere (especially the restaurant) because it was so quiet, but we were travelling out of season. Restaurant food was of a high standard but a little overpriced (captive audience due to location!) In all, a lovely short break in a peaceful location.

Our stay at this hotel was the best part about visiting Sicily. The hospitality was wonderful and the wine tasting was great as well. The only thing I did not like was seeing the two large sweet dogs cooped up in the small cages. They needed to be in a larger area more appropriate for their size. I am an animal lover and seeing them stuck in there the whole time broke my heart. I wanted to take them out for a walk since I never saw them let out to run around. Please take them out to exercise!

At this 4 (and after a 2.5 hour drive), no help with the bags, just directed to a ramp where we could bring the luggage. Our room was dark, but we had a nice view of the swimming pool. We ate in the restaurant in the evening, the food was very poor (the worst we ate in Sicily) and very expensive. This hotel could be fantastic if they address the issues, perhaps it was because we were off season, but weren't made to feel welcome. The hotel was very clean, so Kudos to the cleaning staff.

We were there for 3 days and liked as a base to visit other areas. We had to drive a lot because the hotel is in a isolated area, away from restaurants, supermarkets or other services. Because of that we had dinner in the hotel but expensive and did not liked the cooking. Breakfast was quite good with hot food. Around the hotel we managed ti walk and liked the setting. One comment about mosquitos in the room at night (in October)). In general we liked it.

Beautiful Quiet Resort
Our wonderful experience with Baglio Oneto started well before our stay. We received an email thanking us for our reservation and offering additional services for transfers, tours and anything we thought we would want or need. We needed transportation from Palermo so we responded asking for them to arrange a car which they did. Then we decided to add an additional night to our stay, but Expedia no longer had the room available for another night. We emailed the hotel and immediately another night was added. When we arrived at the hotel we were greeting enthusiastically. The resort is beautiful and the vineyard is incredible. We spent 3 wonderful nights at the resort. Thanks to all the staff including Giovanni, Salvatore and Paola just to mention a few. Our room was lovely and very comfortable. We tasted delicious wines along with cheeses, meats, olives, bread and olive oil our first night. The pool and bar areas had lovely countryside and sea views. The hotel is located a short taxi ride from the historic city center of Marsala. Included in our stay was a fabulous full breakfast each morning. We chose to have dinner every night in the resort restaurant. Dinner was fabulous each time!

Basic but well presented small hotel.
The hotel is situated on a hill with long views on one side towards the coast. The rooms and common areas have been recently decorated and are kept very clean. We had a superior room but this still did not get you a seating area except for the bed or the patio chairs outside and the room was fairly small and had rather limited storage. You have to ask to have your air-conditioning turned on by Reception which is not explained anywhere that we could see, and when it was turned on, we then woke overly hot in the middle of the night to find that the air-con was off again. I would rather pay a few pounds more per night and have full use of the air-con.
Dinner in the restaurant was good, breakfast was O.K. and the hotel has a nice central courtyard with seating which is protected from the wind and provides a pleasant haven. The hotel's winery produces decent red and white wine which you can sample and buy. Staff were excellent.

This hotel is a small jewel hidden from plain view in the hills outside Marsala. Rooms are excellent , if a little dated. Location is perfect for exploring eastern Sicily and Palermo, Corleone etc. Food excellent. You must be a car user to stay here but the price more than compensates you.

We had a wonderful 4 days exploring the west coast of Sicily while using this marvelous hotel as a base. It was fast and easy to get to Marsala, Trapani, and other locations. We had a huge room with a king and 2 twin beds and best of all - 2 bathrooms! The food and wine in this agritourism hotel were great, the staff were friendly and always helpful and we spent every afternoon at the huge pool. And the scenery around the hotel was spectacular - particularly with all of the ancient ruined villas on the nearby hills.

We toured around the whole of Siciliy and this was the last hotel we stayed at, the phrase save the best to last is certainly very true where this hotel is concerned. It is a fabulous place to stay, if you want peace and quiet, fantastic views this is it. The service was excellent, the food and wine was first class. this is a hotel built around an old baglio or four sided building enclosing a courtyard but with a modern hotel wing for the residents large rooms. Superbly located between Trapani and Marsala and a good base. Knowlegeable staff ,well trained and determined to please.
