The staff in dining area were excellent, friendly, and very attentive. Lunch was the best meal of the day. Our room was clean and spacious - we stayed in the log cabins. The beach didn't have lounge chairs this time around and the swings were so high up you couldn't use them at all.
Wi-fi was paid for in advance but not provided in our room and had to bring up to the front desk - didn't know this was an amenity that isn't included for all but with Hotels.com it was.

Staff was fine but the rooms were a little outdated for the price. There was no wifi that allowed streaming services to work. Mosquitos everywhere. You couldnt enjoy being outside without getting eaten by mosquitos. Food wasnt very good.

So much to do for the kids, a park, miniature golf, ping pong table, foosball table, pool table, multiple pools. It’s a great space for families with kids. The food was great and staff were very kind and warm. We stayed in a cabin and it was spacious and clean.

La única queja fuerte que tengo es con respecto a que no tienen bien puesto los nombres de las habitaciones. Yo reserve lo que tienen como VILLA DE MADERA que duermen 5 y a la hora de llegar al hotel me dijieron que tenía que pagar OTRA habitación porque no era VILLA sino que HABITACIÓN. Eso no es correcto cuando uno tiene la confianza y seguridad de hacer las reservas con ustedes

I recently stayed at this resort and had a mixed experience. While the staff were friendly and the food was good, there were some major drawbacks. First, the WiFi barely worked, and I had poor or no signal on my phone throughout the stay, which made it hard to stay connected.
The bed and pillows were quite uncomfortable, which didn’t make for a restful sleep. Additionally, I was given a different room than the one I had originally booked, which was disappointing. On the plus side, check-in was quick, and the hotel felt private, though getting to the location was a bit tricky. Overall, while there were some positives, the stay didn’t quite meet my expectations.

I chose this hotel because it was all inclusive so I would not have to worry about food or anything else. They offer three meal and snack but at specific time of the day while they have a few areas around the beach and the piscina where you can get drinks at any time of the day. When it comes to the food, they offered a buffet, my kids would not eat because they have a very small selection of food for them. As adult you can pretty much eat and try new food but when it comes to feeding children, they are very picky for this reason they should always offer food that would like them for example chicken finger, fries, mac and cheese and others. They don't have a restaurant open during the day and for this reason I had to go downtown to get food.

I’ve stayed at Indura Resorts and Telamar before and Ensenada Resort is by far the best option, specially for families. Service was amazing, property well maintained, security and amenities are really good.

This is PARADISE!

Speechless!!! It has been many years I have been to Honduras and Ensenada blew me away!! The location, the amenities, the beach front comfort, and safety made this visit unforgettable. If I can compare my stay, it would be like taking a cruise on Norwegian or Princess. That good! We stayed in a villa with 2 bedroom and 4 restrooms (room 222) which was outstanding. It’s on building 2 out of 8 and we were on the first floor which was great since my father in law is on a wheel chair. The food was really good and the 3 meals plus snacks plus all the drinks, made the all inclusive and our stay unforgettable. The private beach at Ensenada was clean and very empty compared to the public beaches. For being a US citizen, I felt very safe and at no time did I fear for my life. Our villa did have air conditioning and that was great since my phone told me the weather was 99F but with the breeze and the shade it felt like 80F which was very pleasant. If you are looking for a great place to stay with great services, food, amenities, peacocks, and a safe place to enjoy R&R, this is the place, hands down! The photos I posted don’t do justice to Ensenada!

We were without power for periods of time. Check in took hours as we were not aware the children needed birth certificates- so our rooms were denied until we could produce them. 4 hours away from home and no one available to send copies for hours was inconvenient but we understood the safety concerns. Hotels.com didn’t notify us of this new policy.

I loved their pool and how easy to close to the beach. Loved their pool bar. Staff was very friendly.
Cons- they need more food variations, they had the same kind of chicken for lunch and dinner the day we were there. Also they bathroom in the rooms needs to be updated, water wasn’t coming out early in the morning so could t shower and the toilet wasn’t working. I also wished they had a blender at their bars so they could do frozen drinks

Everything was fine can’t really complain much. Only complaints are cleaning does need to be more thorough. Seems as if they only spot cleaned before we arrived. The water was always dirty however. Not sure if it was because it was raining but anytime we opened the faucet and no matter how long we left it running, water was dirty. Food was not 10/10 but it was good.

The fridge was working when we arrived, but someone promptly came and fixed it. There is only one location near the beach for towel pickup/drop off if you are using theirs which isn't convenient if you want to go in the smaller pool

I would recommend this place. It’s located at one of the best beaches in Tela. Jairo, one of the waiters was very attentive with a very friendly smile.
The place is big so you don’t feel crowded at all. The dock is a plus to see the sunsets.

This place was great. We did have a little trouble checking in, make sure everyone has and ID, even for underage children. They required an ID number or birth certificate. We almost didn't get in because this is a requirement. I dont think it's detailed in the Resort listing so just a heads Unfortunately, I did get food poisoning from dinner and was terrible sick all night. Its my fault because I saw the chicken wasn't fully cooked. The beach wasnt clear as the images, the rains in Honduras during this time of year pushes debris and dirt from other bodies of water, so that was upsetting. But despite all of these setbacks, I would give this resort a second try. The music and atmosphere were a fun experience. Staff was really kind and patient.

Everything was really great except for the music at the bar is really loud and it was difficult to sleep at night syart from 8 am to almost 2 am. I really found difficult to be relax with the loud music. The music should stop at midnight but it didn't. The resort is really nice and food is good. Recommended it and staff si friendly and always helpful.

Beautiful property and staff was so friendly. Only improvements is non of the phones worked in the rooms for the all the guests at the event we were attending so we always had to flag a staff member down to get ahold of reception. Also it would be nice if they had a box of masks available at the restaurant because if your coming from the beach and pool it’s easy to forget or misplace a mask.

I can understand that covid has affected this place. I can understand that profits must be way down. So, I do have some sympathy for that. But there's a few things that could be addressed. Zero entertainment. They only offer cheap vodka, rum and gin. The beach is beautiful. Why not have it cleaned up everyday? There was plastic, foam, plastic bottles and trash. My wife and I picked up what we could. Motorcycles driving around on the beach. The rooms were nice. No running hot water, but wouldn't have used it anyway. The food was ok. We lost a room key and were charged $12. The staff were very nice.

Well what can I say the room was nice and clean but we had to wait for about 45 minutes by the pool to get our drinks I got tired of waiting so I walk to the bar to get a drink, also they turn off the AC when we went to get a snack, I ask the people that work there why they turn off the AC and he told me that the manager make a decision of turning it off so every body was sweating in the restaurant area. it makes no sense. But everything else was nice.

Awful experience. Staff is lazy, the staff in cleans when you call zoom serivce. Rooms are very outdated and there was no amenities in the fridge. I paid for a whole exclusive package for mo reason because i had to end up buying food and drinks outside the property. Food was always trash. No variety and there was only one place open. The waitresses were also rude and lazy. This resort over all was boring. Only had a pool and beach. No extra activities and bad views. Please save you moneh and dont come here
