People would leave their garbage at the sun beds, on the side tables etc. And the restaurant staff there do not clean it up. At times it was gross and people just avoided those sun beds

Negative feedback - room was very dated, instructions for arrival gave no indication of how to access the hotel complex with a car or where to park to check-in. The directions all led to the pedestrian access. It was very confusing driving, we had to ask a hotel guest.

Everything was perfect, a quiet location but only about 5 minutes walk to a massive selection of restaurants and nightlife. The beach and port are about 10 minutes walk away.

Very noisy cleaners. Young guy at reception, whose name I think is Jose, was extremely rude, constantly interrupted me when I was speaking, refused to listen. This inevitably led to numerous miscommunications as he was simply not prepared to listen to more than 2-3 words of any sentence before starting to speak himself, + him making many assumptions that were incorrect. Staff need much better training in how to communicate with customers. This guy, when I told him that he was not listening, retorted in the manner of an immature teenager + said, ´You are not listening!´. On arrival, when I was making my way to my room, a young girl of about six or seven, wearing no clothing at all, ran into the building from the pool area with her parents + younger sister later coming up the stairs. When I reported this, the same guy at reception told me that the hotel likely does not have any specific rule about this for children aged around seven! This was a completely nonsensical comment from him, as clearly what he should have done is to find out what the rules are at the hotel + not make this ridiculous comment. On one of the days, my keycard stopped working for no reason-had not been kept near my phone or any other device. When I mentioned this to the lady at reception, she simply said, I don´t know why it´s not working, instead of saying that she would report this to the IT/technical department. Obviously, I do not except her to know why it is not working! Overall really unprofessional.

From talking to many people around the pool this hotel used to be excellent. By the sounds of it there has been a management or ownership change which is undoing a reputation built up over the years. We spoke to one family who had been here 22 times in the last 15 years. This would be their last. Firstly the good - a well laid out hotel with nice pools in a decent location. However, all that is lost when you can’t have a morning or evening swim, and the bar is empty and lacking atmosphere every evening despite the efforts of a singer, thanks to exorbitant drinks prices and the more inviting options elsewhere. Inconsistently applied pool rules ruin the fun in what is a family hotel, with diving and huge inflatable rings allowed but small kids’ toys and lilos not. Service is poor at the desk and the manager unwilling to help when there were issues reported. Bins round the pool regularly overflow and pool towels can only be exchanged in a 90 minute window every other day, issues easily remedied if anyone cared. This should be somewhere we can’t wait to come back to. But it isn’t. And for seemingly most others here just now they won’t be returning either. Such a shame.

Hotel was great for kids. We just can’t rate it highly as the air conditioning was AWFUL and should come with a warning- you can’t lower it below 22 degrees and it was the height of summer. None of us slept well the whole week.

Just back from 10 days at Inturotel Sa Marina and loved, loved, loved it! The property was beautiful and all the staff amazing. I cannot remember everyone’s name but really enjoyed engaging with Elan and Iqbal (I think) in the restaurant and Abel at the front desk. The hotel is spotless and all the staff are extremely friendly and work very hard.

Had a lovely holiday hotel was lovely room was very good shower was great a big walk in one cleaners did a really good job room always cleaned .We had a city view it could be noisey at times but that didnt bother us as it was nice people watching and once the doors were shut u didnt hear a thing .Only negative thing i could say is the 20 minute towel rule i understand people put them down and leave i think they should not moniter that between 12 and 2 as thats when people go for lunch as 20 minutes is not long enough i can see it causing alot of upset

Hotel was spotlessly clean and modern and the Staff were very friendly and helpful (apart from one Lifeguard). The Hotel is also in a great location. The only letdown was the OTT rules regarding the use of toys in the Pool. Despite there being no signs, no balls etc are allowed in or around the Pools. I found this quite ridiculous seeing as the Hotel markets itself and Child friendly. Some Lifeguards were more lenient however one in particular couldn’t seem to wait to tell my Daughter she couldn’t play catch with a tiny sponge toy that was as light as a feather! This lifeguard also declined to swap our towels and made us go to Reception despite having a trolley full of fresh ones right next to him!
These ridiculous rules are the only thing that would prevent me booking the Hotel with my Family again. Other than this it was a lovely stay.

Asked on four occasions to move rooms but receptionists were very unhelpful, and communication poor. Would not stay again.

We stayed at Inturotel Sa Marina for 7 nights in May with my family of 4, 2 adults and two kids. The hotel is very family friendly and safe for kids. They have a kids club that will give parents some time alone. The hotel is beautiful and the landscaping immaculate. The staff is helpful and friendly. Although the rooms are not modern, they do feel timeless and our stay was very memorable. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful. The decor is dreamy. The surrounding area are super safe, walkable, friendly and interesting. Although a very touristy area, you can still find delicious food all within a 3 min walk. 2 grocery stores and 3 laundry mats are within 1-5min walk. The beach is 5 minutes away and it is absolutely gorgeous and fun. We will definitely return. The drive from Palma international airport doesn’t feel long at all. Don’t be nervous when you see the smaller towns on the way there, although they are very different than metropolitan cities, they are safe. Biggest piece of advice is to pack light and rent a car to explore the island.

We had a good stay, but found the check in process arduous - the reception staff demanded the passports of all guests, including my four and six year old children, signatures from all adults and the Expedia tax invoice emailed to them. My wife stayed in the car as my three year old son was napping, and so these demands caused us much stress, particularly trying to locate the specific Expedia receipt which they required emailed to them at the point of check in. Easily my worst check in experience of any hotel to date.

The pools are lovely and the heated pool was so nice for my son. The couches in the living room are very old and the bathroom seals around the tub were rusty and looks a bit gross. My husband woke up after our first night with 5 large bites on his head, neck and face that we need to go to the pharmacy for steroid cream to treat as they became so large and painful. There were ants in the bedroom and we saw a large brown bug crawling on the couch. We informed the reception and showed the bug and requested the room be deep cleaned and sheets changed which they did but it freaked me out a little for the rest of the holiday.

The hotel overall was great, the staff very friendly, very clean, and the breakfasts were amazing. Location was great, really near the bars, restaurants and shops. The beach was a bit disappointing as very small and so crowded, it felt more like Weston, you had to step over people to get to the sea. We tried to walk to the Marina but very steep hills which is not good if disabled and was not very well signposted so we gave up! My only negative about the hotel was that we had to get up really early everyday to reserve sunbeds which was frustrating but understandable in August and the sofabeds in lounge were great to sleep on but uncomfortable to sit/relax on.

Our room overlooked the pool which was really nice. But for some (with small children or wanting an early night) could be noisy in the evening as the evening entertainment was also nearby.
There was two very large pools in two separate areas and plenty of entertainment for small children. It wasn’t too obvious or loud so didn’t disturb those that didn’t wish to partake.
We never used the main restaurant but there is a small cafe which was nice.
The neares beach was an easy 15min walk Cala Gran which is beautiful. Cala Esmeralda was a few minutes further round the coast and equally beautiful but a bit quieter.
My only two issues and they are not particularly big are
1. We were a family of 4 and on the balcony there was only 3 chairs. This was the same in all rooms. So had to use a dining chair outside.
2. The sunbeds - whilst the hotel had a policy of removing towels if the bed wasn’t used in 40mins it was never enforced. The result was people were turning up at 7am to claim there sun bed for the day. At the time we went Mid July it was very busy and people struggled to get a bed. The hotel did facilitate more beds in the grassy areas which helped. However there was also insufficient shaded areas or umbrellas to compensate for this.
Our room overlooked the pool which was really nice. But for some (with small children or wanting an early night) could be noisy in the evening as the evening entertainment was also nearby.
There was two very large pools in two separate areas and plenty of entertainment for small children. It wasn’t too obvious or loud so didn’t disturb those that didn’t wish to partake.
We never used the main restaurant but there is a small cafe which was nice.
The neares beach was an easy 15min walk Cala Gran which is beautiful. Cala Esmeralda was a few minutes further round the coast and equally beautiful but a bit quieter.

Fantastic. Quiet, in a quiet part of town. Two pools were great, one is lively and has a stage with music that goes on quite late and the other pool was really chilled out. Both great for kids. Cleaners were amazing making the room spotless every day despite the best efforts of my two youngsters.

Lovely hotel. Great location - near everything. Very pleasant staff. Our apartment was very well appointed with very comfortable beds. It looked like it had recently been refurbished - not a mark on any of the walls or paintwork. There was a good size balcony with comfortable wicker armchairs. We were self-catering so didn't try the restaurant or pool-side cafeteria/bar. The swimming pool area nearest our block (3) was very well laid out with plenty of sunbeds and parasols. We would definitely stay there again.

Lovely hotel with everything you need
We stayed here for a long weekend with my two friends. We were really pleasantly surprised when we arrived, it's a lovely complex, two lovely outdoor pools, an indoor one too, gym, restaurant, snack bar etc. We did free yoga outside on the lawn and recieved excellent service from the very friendly staff. Is just a few minutes walk to the central restaurant and shops areas with so many places to choose from to eat. And the amazing cove beaches are also just a few minutes walk away. Crystal clear, calm water and gorgeous soft sand. We had a lovely time and would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful week at Sa Marina Hotel lovely spacious room plenty of space for cloths & ample coat hangers in wardrobe. Staff so polite & friendly from reception to cleaners nothing to much trouble so very clean & tidy everywhere. Good entertainment in the evening activities during the day if you wish to join in as well as the gym. The food is very varied and good. Two lovely swimming pools including beach towels

I stayed at the Inturotel Sa Marina for 5 days with my mum. We absolutely loved this hotel, lovely rooms, very clean resort, two great swimming pools, on site snack bar and lots of entertainment to keep the children on site entertained. The hotel is a short walk to the beach, supermarket, the restaurants and the marina so perfect location.

Hotel consists of 3 blocks with 2 swimming pools. Plenty of sun beds and umbrellas around the lovely pool area at the main block. Rooms are of a good size and have a mini kitchen area. Kettle, toaster, microwave and 2 ring cooker provided. if I had one criticism it would be the sofa beds. They are essentially sofas where you take the back cushions off and put the bed-sheets over the sitting cushions, which are not particularly comfortable. Overall this is an excellently maintained hotel and would recommend it to others.
