IM SO SO SORRY I made a mistake! My name is Nikea Lui and I accidentally gave a bad review to this hotel, by accident and was supposed to be for the Willoughby Hotel as to which I left due to how dirty the hotel was and a one star rating is what I gave. I was a little stressed and tired from driving from Victoria so I chose to stay at the twin Tower hotel a very last minute booking.

Steve, an absolutely AMAZING host heard about my complaints with Willoughby Hotel and empathised with me, I booked a single Queen room for my son and I to share. Steve upgraded me to a double Queen ennusited room out of courtesy and I couldn’t have been more grateful, as we arrived after 6pm Steve even extended the pool hours for my Son even though it closed at 7pm my son could swim till almost 9pm, thank you Steve and your staff I will be back to stay and I highly recommend Twin Towers for not only their professionalism but overall experience I even gave Steve a hug haha I was so amazed given a stressful experience at Willoughby Hotel.

We booked a room with two separate beds through Expedia, but when we arrived, we were told that such an option didn’t actually exist at the hotel. Instead, we were given a room with one shared bed, as it was the only available option in our price range. Also, keep in mind that the shower and toilet are shared and located in the hallway, which might be inconvenient for some guests.

Pros:
✔ Very comfortable mattress—we slept really well.
✔ Excellent on-site restaurant: you can have breakfast, lunch, and dinner without needing to go elsewhere.
✔ Friendly staff, though you might have to wait a bit before someone shows up at the front desk.

Cons:
✖ Misleading booking information—double-check before reserving.
✖ Shared facilities on the floor.

Overall, if you’re okay with these minor inconveniences, it’s a decent budget-friendly option with great food and a comfortable bed.

I’m a bit disappointed with my experience here. I had hoped this would become my go-to place whenever I’m working in Willoughby, but my most recent stay was not as good as the previous ones.

During my first stay, I asked the manager what benefits regular guests might receive, as I often have long shifts in Willoughby. The manager told me that for regulars, the process was simple: book your stay, check in, and they’d waive the bond. I thought that sounded great, and during my second stay, the bond was indeed waived.

However, on my recent stay, I was charged the bond, which was frustrating. The manager I dealt with this time was not as friendly or accommodating as the previous ones. What really bothered me, though, was that the day after checking out, I received a phone call asking me to prove that I had paid for my accommodation. Considering the payment was processed before I even received my key and was handled by the same person who called me, this seemed unnecessary and unprofessional. I had to send over a bank statement to confirm payment, which I didn’t think should be my responsibility.

I also sent an email expressing my dissatisfaction, but I never received a response—no apology, no acknowledgment, not even a “thank you for your feedback.” The manager I dealt with was named Mark, and I’m genuinely disappointed by the lack of follow-up or courtesy.

I was disappointed with my stay at Bridgeview Hotel as in the ad it said nothing about stair only access. Also when we went to shower the head of the shower was on the floor and the tv remote had flat batteries and we had to climb onto the table to turn the tv on and off. Both myself and companion are seniors.

The staff were very friendly and approachable. The room however was not what we were expecting from photos. It looked a lot like a hostel when we expected a hotel. We also must have misread that there was a bathroom as there was only a shared bathroom. The bathroom on our floor was a bit unappealing but the one on the floor above was very nice. Overall not what we were expecting but at least the staff were nice.

Very disappointed in my stay. Was greeted at check-in and stated I had booked on Expedia. The gentleman helping me located my paperwork for the reservation and then asked me to tap my card. I assumed this was a deposit for any extra charges incurred, but he proceeded to charge me again for the booking. Have now been double charged and waiting for charges to be reversed all because of poor training of staff by the hotel.

There was damp smell in the room, carpets feel a bit wet. Fungus behind the blinds, windows were not functional. there was no remote for AC in the room, collected from reception and came to know AC works only on one mode and blow cold air only. Toilet light was not working, poor lighting in the room as well. No lifts in the building, if you have heavy bags, you have to carry them and climb stairs. I booked room in this hotel because this hotel have a 4.1/5 rating but I am totally disappointed.

The hotel is good value for the price. Bed is very comfortable. Linen is crisp and clean. Bathrooms clean. Nicely and simply furnished. I requested a quiet room. It was quiet from traffic. It overlooked the rear of the building - tress and elevated outlook over suburb. There is a courtyard outside the window and it got rowdy during the evenings. As I was jet lagged, I fell asleep very early (7pm). But I do believe the noise ended by midnight. Pleasant stay on a budget. Nice character features and pub/bistro downstairs is warm and comfortable. Didn’t eat on site. On site open air parking behind the building. Good value. Carpets could’ve been cleaner. I’m good condition, but needed a vacuum. Otherwise facilities were clean.

The bathrooms were not far away and, while not state of the art, clean and pleasant.

There is a kitchen with cooking and microwave facilities and washing machine. Cutlery, crockery etc.

I did not use the complimentary glass of wine voucher but appreciated it.

The staff were very friendly and helpful.

This is basic accommodation, reflected in the price. I will come again.

OK - Everyone seems to have a big problem with the shared bathrooms. Have you ever used a shared shower in a gym or swimming pool? Have you ever used a shared toilet on a plane or in a pub? It ain't that bad!! There's always plenty of towels, shampoo and body wash. Really good showers although some guests can be grubs and don't put their dirty towels in the baskets provided.

On to the bedrooms - We're in a small but perfectly adequate room (Number 5). Beds are comfy although the TV's are at really weird angles - There's plenty of room above the door to have put it there.

Handy little smoking areas with seating are a bonus.

Food from the pub is really good - First night had fish and chips and the next we had the mixed grill - We don't eat much so split it between us both and it was more than enough - Steak was pretty damned fatty but then that's where the taste is.

Parking is limited to about 6 cars but yeah, there's plenty of on-street parking not far from the hotel.

We came to stay here as we had no power and we don't have a bad word to say about it. We'll be back next storm!!

I booked the \"hotel\" on rush while on the road, not reviewing it is only a room..with shared bathroom and toilet. Coming from a long drive your be expecting for a nice shower in your room. But it's my fault as I did not read properly, then again this property should be labeled as \"room with shared toilet\" We ended leaving the property and booked a proper hotel.

A really nice stay at the Bridgeview! Ideal location for quick regular buses to the centre of Sydney and beaches. Lovely communal spaces just for those staying - a lounge on the 2nd floor, fully equipped kitchen, free washing machine and roof terrace on the 1st. And the pub below!
Free drink and lovely art deco architecture set this apart for us. Would return if in Sydney again.
