This hotel is right in the middle of Old Town. Every easy to walk around and find everything you need. It is close to the train station. Everything is walking distance. The breakfast was amazing lot of stuff to choose from. Room was very clean.

We had a really nice stay overall and would recommend this hotel.

It was easy to find, although it would be even clearer if the word “Friday” appeared somewhere outside rather than just “Hotel”.

The bed was large and very comfortable. The shower could do with an upgrade, but the water pressure was great and it stayed hot. The smart TV was excellent and a nice bonus after long days out.

We were pleasantly surprised by the breakfast. We don’t usually bother with hotel breakfast, but there was a good range of options and the staff were very attentive. The coffee machine being available to use whenever was a great touch, perfect for grabbing a drink after a busy day.

The cleaners were quick and friendly, and the location was fantastic for nearby attractions, tours and taxi pick-ups/drop-offs.

A few downsides:
• The receptionist who checked us in was quite miserable and borderline rude, although the other reception staff we met were lovely.
• The minibar could have been restocked. Shops are nearby and reasonably priced, but the tap water ran cloudy for a while so having bottled water available would have been appreciated.
• We stayed in room 108 and were woken at 5:30am by shops opposite unloading. This is outside the hotel’s control, and we didn’t find tourists or nightlife noisy, so it may just have been unlucky timing.
• The room got very warm. The windows are large, but we didn’t feel comfortable leaving them open overnight as there were no safety locks/bars.

The room was clean and the maids attended to them daily, but they don’t change the sheets.

Breakfast was served every morning with loads of options, such as eggs, sausages and the usual breakfast food items. Their baked goods were tasty. They also served some sliced fruit like pineapple and kiwi. Coffee is free all day and they have a coffee machine by the reception desk. The coffee is decent enough.

There is like a very small reading area on the second floor that overlooks the breakfast hall, which is nice if you want to catch up on some reading.

Location is the best feature of the hotel. It’s next to everything. Next to a Lidl if you need food, just 5 min walk to old town square, and not far from Charles bridge. It’s also not far from the local train station if you want to venture out. The local area is also a shopping district so if you want to do any shopping, you can. Location alone makes the hotel very worth the stay.

Stayed here for 2 nights on a solo trip. The room was clean and spacious, very comfy bed and pillows. Bathroom was big with an enormous shower.
A hearty breakfast was provided, although the sausages and hash browns were cold on both occasions. Although a 24 hr coffee/tea was provided, this was only in the eating area. A 4 * hotel should provide coffee machines in every room, rather then having to go out of your room and on to another floor to use this facility.
Fantastic location, so easy to get around.

Totally catfished on the room appearance. The website tried to give an updated modern vibe, but the room was run down, drab and had dirty, stained carpet and damaged counters in the bathroom. One of the windows was broken and unable to be opened. The HVAC didn’t appear to have any temp adjustment so the room was super hot. I will give the location a 10/10. Great walking distance to key sights and tons of food and shopping options. The breakfast was surprisingly good as well.

our stay was terrible. We were ‘welcomed’ by a receptionist who was busy on her phone editing a video on her social media. The room was far too hot and receptionist said to just keep the fan on. The room got hotter and it seems it was blowing warm air. Sent a message to the hotel via Expedia as the receptionist wasn’t helpful even though we had a baby with us who was dehydrated from how hot the room was. Turns out the central heating system works as a heater this time of year regardless of the room already being warm. No fan or AC available. There was a chair in the room and the decor on it was hanging off with a sharp pin hanging off on the side. This is very dangerous especially if babies/children are in the room. The area outside the hotel has a very bad smell of urine. Not sure how this hotel is a 4 star, definitely isn’t 4 stars. Will not be recommending or staying here again. Worst hotel experience. Thank goodness for the breakfast staff and food hence the one star and not zero.

Really convenient hotel but located in the plaza area so if you have heavy luggage be prepared as a car cannot drop you off or pick you up right outside. The walk to a pick up point though is not far! Staff were lovely and friendly.

Great location, walkable distance to city center, supermarket, and shopping. Negatives: Our safe was locked in the room so we couldn’t use it. No ironing board. Stained carpet. Room didn’t look like any of the options in the pictures advertised online (outdated and dingy), drains were clogged - slowly draining.

It’s a great location and the staff were very nice. The rooms were clean and mostly updated except for the carpet but it was fine, just not newer. The breakfast had lots of variety and options. When I booked the hotel it said they had laundry facilities but upon arrival I was told they didn’t. They did help accommodate us and the cleaning staff washed a load of our laundry for 20 euros. Overall it was a good experience.

Great located hotel in the city centre, close to lots of shopping. Every tour and landmark we wanted to visit was within walking distance. Breakfast was delicious. Hotel bed was comfortable, bathroom was modern and clean. Rooms were air conditioned and bright. Downsides were old and stained carpets throughout the hotel, had requested two singles beds and got a double. However overall very happy with the stay

This hotel is 2 stars at best. Do not book this hotel if you are coming with a car. People at the front are totally useless. We were told that we can not pull up to the hotel with our car to unload luggage. Which is not correct. The girl at the front told us we need to walk with our luggage for 4 blocks on cobblestones street. No one in the hotel to help you with luggage. The garage is far and a nightmare. Breakfast is horrible. Juice is just a yellow water, we had a choice of cold hard boiled egg or cold burned sunny side up. Even coffee was bad, forget having any pastries with coffee. Staled hard pastries. We ended up getting stuff from a nearby store and bring it with us to the cafeteria, so we could have breakfast. One if the worse hotels I ever stayed.

No airconditioning, though advertised as have one.

The hotel advertises as a ptoperty with airconditioning. However when we arrived the hotel was hot like an oven. Also we couldn't sleep all night due to very loud noise ftom the street. When we asked for a change of room we were told that there was none available..really??
Also we were told that the hotel cant help with providing any fans.. and airconditioning is only turned on in later months of the year.

Not a very helpful customer service..

The hotel is close all attractions and metro station.

The rooms are clean and seems recently redorated.

The location was amazing and for the most part, the room was wonderful. The common areas, such as the hallways needs some TLC. The carpet in the hall in particular was pretty rough. BUT the rooms didn't have and carpet and were very nice and clean. There are no USB plugs in the room, so that was surprising considering it seemed to be recently renovated and the AC didn't function. The room was VERY hot at night, and we tried to turn on the air and not only did it not blow cold air, it was hot air. The window did open, but it was a busy area and was loud outside so that wasn't a great set up. The location was wonderful though and made for very easy walking to all of the things we wanted to see.

I would highly recommend staying in Friday Hotel. It is a small hotel centrally located for Old Town Square and Wenceslas Square and within walking distance of Charles Bridge and the Lesser Town.
The hotel is clean and the breakfast was very good with a variety of choices. The complimentary tea and coffee throughout the day is also welcoming to warm you up after a day's exploring.
The staff were polite and friendly too and my husband and I enjoyed our weekend break there,

Well Our hotel room was on the front side of the hotel with balcony about 2 o'clock In the morning.. There was screaming fighting going on the hotel. Personnel did not get involved until we went down to let them know that we cannot sleep because people outside of our hotel room fighting. Also in a room in the bathroom the.
Water faucet was not Contributing a full stream of water.. The right way it was just trickling out.
Then we had breakfast, the breakfast was. AOK, they had a few problems. They had a toaster for all guests which only toasted 2 pieces of toast but it had place for 4, so the toast it was broken the Bake beans were not warm. They were cold. The Fresh fruit bar was not fresh fruit. And the parking was too expensive.
And the communication from guest and hotel personnel was not explained properly.
Sorry, sorry to let you know. That I will not. Stay.

Loved the location of this place -- the place is safe to walk around and is lively even at night. The breakfast is really good even though the same daily. The free coffee machine is awesome!

HOWEVER, its in a noisy location and one can hear hollering at night. The worse part of this hotel is the super unhelpful staff. They dont offer anything -- didnt speak English well and when we asked for some options for sightseeing juts handed us some brochures and didnt have any answers to our questions on the brochures. The guy especially was soooo unhelpful even on simple things. Like I wanted to some soap in teh evening -- he just said that the housekeeper store is locked which was NOT true since I came back later in the evening and the girl behind the counter was able to procure it. The guy just wnated to sit and surf and not do any work. OK place overall but dont expect beyond a bed and a room

The property itself is in a great location. Walkable distance from Prague Main Station, steps from Landmarks like astronomical clock and Wenceslas Square. The room I’ve got did not look like the pictures, only the bathroom was remodeled. The AC was not working at all. Luckily it was October and it was cool outside, however the opened windows allowed all noise from streets to disturb my sleep. Breakfast was very good.

The hallway ( near our room had a stain ) not very welcoming, front desk ladies could use a smile and be little bit more friendly during check- in.
Room was ok, but shades.. curtains broken, rug dirty/ stained and the heat didn’t work right , we were cold!
The buffet was ok, nothing special… wish the ladies at the buffet would give little bit more space and not constantly hover around the guests. Good location but taxi is unable to get in front of the hotel…
Would not stay there again!

No way it’s a 4 stars

If that hotel has 4 stars, I am not sure how many I need to book my next stay. Only the location met my expectations. The hotel, starting from the front door is so outdated, even the remodeled parts are felling apart. The room has no space to put the suitcase, I had to put it on top of the mini fridge. No coffee or even a hot water offered, except during breakfast. Which is mediocre and served in the room with no single window. The staff, out of 3 people I interacted one was really nice, but the other two were very unfriendly and not helpful at all. The guy said, he can’t answer my question as he is getting a headache. We had 2 rooms, but the bed was so uncomfortable, if I would have to share the bed it would have been a torture.

The air conditioning does not work, room smelled like dog, the carpets were very dirty, old, and stained, and the safe did not work properly. I am not a princess type of person and this place was not pleasant to stay in. The pictures are very misleading other than the bathrooms being nice. The AC is loud and there were homeless people sleeping across the entrance of the property. Cars cannot drive you up to the entrance during certain hours which makes check in and out a hassle.

We had 2 rooms for our family of 5. One of our rooms was exactly as pictured on the Hotels.com site…the other room was old, outdated, and dirty. It had old dirty carpet, and the room smelled bad. We requested a change of room, but they weren’t able to accommodate us until our second night. The new room we were moved to had nice flooring, like the photos on Hotels.com, and was clearly remodeled. Unfortunately, the air conditioning in our room was broken, in the middle of July, so it was hot. We requested it be fixed 3 times, although they sent someone up, it was never actually fixed. The people were nice, and helpful, and the breakfast was nice as well. The hotel is a 5 min walk to Old Town Square which was great bc we didn’t need an Uber to see everything we were interested in. It’s close to lots of museums, restaurants, and street vendors as well. I’d suggest requesting a remodeled room.

Location centrally perfect. We took the 59 bus from outside the airport to the Metro green-line then a few stops to Mustek metro only minutes away from hotel. Lovely room and facilities but Air conditioning inadequate for July. Room on the top floor noisy with skylight open to assist cooling down.
Breakfast good for the price, staff friendly. Would stay again but not on 4th floor.

It’s a nice hotel with a good breakfast buffet, but their air condition is very old, and not maintained. So the room was brutally hot. They offered to switch us, but the other room was just as bad. The location is good. I would never stay here in the summer, but any other time of year, it’s probably a good choice

This is a decent hotel in a prime location. Generous, well appointed breakfast is a highlight. The rooms and hotel itself are a little worn, but clean. Our room’s AC didn’t actually blow cold air, fortunately, it was quite pleasant for our stay so it wasn’t a huge issue.

The number 1 reason for booking with Friday Hotel was the room Air Conditioning. Our 1st night the A/C was not working. The next 2 nights Marsha was able to have our room moved and what started off on the wrong foot turned into a wonderful stay.

The hotel is located within walking distance of Wenceslas Square, the clock, and so much more! It is very loud and hot if you come before the air conditioning is turned on (May) because the open window means all the sounds travel into your room. The breakfast was awesome and free. Our keys kept getting demagnetized which was annoying- we had to go down twice on two different days to get them redone. The hotel does not have usb plugs so make sure you bring an adapter as they also don’t have any for you to borrow. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The hotel is also not far from public transit which is the best way to travel the city.

So much notice, stained carpet, one iron for the building, no privacy they will enter your room even if you have do not disturb sign, fridge not working, no air conditioning u will die in the summer.

Hotel was lovely.
Staff were friendly and helpful throughout.
Good breakfast between 8am-11am. Good choices from hot breakfast to continental.
Room was great, good WiFi and TV, which we were able to connect to streaming apps.
