Room was kept clean, the cleaners are so friendly as were the pool/bar staff as well as spa. Emma the spa manager was lovely as was our therapist Dimirta. The receptionist Marta was absolutely rude on arrival and her attitude during our check in and room assignment was just shocking. The manager was able to correct and give us an alternative room which was what we paid for. Sea view room. The hotel should give guests complimentary late checkout especially when they are not so busy. The hotel is beautiful and the food did not fail during our half board stay. The soft drinks are overpriced but there is a local spa which is more affordable.

Excellent location. Beautiful property. Wonderful staff. Really enjoyed all 3 pools, the nearby beach, and everything within walking distance!

My room type should not have been listed as it is “ Dazzling Blue Sea View Outdoor Hot Tub”.

It is a ground floor room directly facing a fairly busy pedestrian street. Flip up blinds were closed the entire stay, so this room doesn’t truly offer even a peak view of the ocean, let alone a “dazzling blue sea view”.

Had a great time while in Crete, but wish they would market this room type honestly, as it was disappointing and I think false.

All staff were first class, Stefanos the Restaurant Manager was five star and personable in attendance to us and it was a joy to chat with him.
The pools are all amazing and accessible beach made the stay enjoyable.

A Perfect Family trip at Akasha Beach Hotel & SPA

Our family enjoyed an amazing eight-day stay at Akasha Beach Hotel & Spa. The rooms were spacious, modern, and spotless, with comfortable beds and excellent amenities. Housekeeping kept everything in pristine condition daily.

The food was exceptional, offering a wide variety for every meal. From hearty breakfast buffets to exquisite dinners, every dish was delicious. The restaurant staff were attentive and accommodating, enhancing our dining experience.

The pool area was a highlight. Well-maintained with plenty of loungers and umbrellas, it provided a fantastic spot for relaxation. Our children loved the kids' pool, while we enjoyed the serene adults' pool. The spa facilities were also excellent, offering a peaceful escape.

The staff at Akasha Beach Hotel & Spa were outstanding. From our arrival, we were welcomed with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. Every team member went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, always ready to assist and ensuring we felt welcome.

Overall, our stay at Akasha Beach Hotel & Spa was perfect. The combination of luxurious accommodations, delicious food, excellent facilities, and exceptional service made our family trip special. We left with wonderful memories and a strong desire to return. For a place to unwind, enjoy great food, and be pampered by a wonderful team, Akasha Beach Hotel & Spa is the perfect choice.

Pros: clean, modern facility, good breakfast and dinner food selection, at the center of shopping and restaurant area, and close to the beach.

Cons: VERY confusing food and drinks policy where even the all-inclusive package does not pay for cocktails, spirits and drinks, which are not exorbitantly expensive (€12 Pina-Colada, anyone?). Expedia did not highlight this, nor did it warn us that we were booking a room with half-board package, so it was an unpleasant surprise that even after paying for an "all-inclusive" stay we still had to pay for water and drinks at the dinner, and go for lunch to an outside restaurant (lunch was not included either). There is absolutely nothing to do at the hotel, there is no entertainment whatsoever, except for an oddball musician after lunch and a DJ once a week. Do NOT stay there with kids, they will get bored after a day at the pool. Even getting a sunbed around the main pool is tricky, there is a race that happens daily at 9am when the pool opens, with people jumping one over another to put a towel or even a hat to reserve a sunbed for a day. There are additional sunbeds at the hotel's beach house, but the pool there is tiny. The beach is a few minutes from the beach house, but the sunbeds in the beach are all reserved in the morning, and are spaced so densely that there is no relaxing there unless you like spending time in a crowd. The sea is OK, with black sand and rocky floor, so we ended up spending most of the time around pools.

The Akasha Resort, made the reservation a year ago this was our first stay, from the front desk at check in, to check out there were greetings with smiles, even a (hug).
Great suggestions for a quick bite, in walking distance, (food was delicious). Our bags were in our spotless room by the time we opened the door. The buffet was delicious and diverse. The service in the buffet, pool, and beach were excellent. We can’t wait to come back and hope to stay longer then 5 days. This is most definitely a 5 star Resort.

This resort is truly excellent. If you are looking for a quiet, clean and picturesque place to unwind then look now further.

The facilities provided are of an immaculate standard and the staff couldn’t be any more welcoming and accommodating. I don’t know what you are paying them but they all deserve raise!

Can’t fault it, I’ll be going back there, or to another hotel in that group for sure!! Advice….just book all inclusive, it’s well worth it and saves hassle every time you order a delicious cocktail!!

The staff and spa were amazing. The food options however left a lot to be desired. The hotel it’s self was lovely. I would advise try to get a room on the ground or upper levels for a better view as we were on -1 and the view was just of an entrance to the building

The hotel was really good. Staff was very friendly and cooperative. We are vegetarian and they have arranged a number of vegetarian things for us in breakfast and dinner

It was my wife's birthday on one of the days and they have provided the complimentary cake and breakfast within our room just as a surprise

Overall it was an amazing experience on staying with this hotel.

The service is not 5* in the slightest. The staff are so rude and arrogant. I have never been spoken to or treated so rudely. Every second during food they would come and ask for a signature which is so disruptive whilst I am eating. We had to pay for our drinks (half board) and every single morning they brought our coffees and teas cold. The food is sub par. If you visit all inclusive places often then you will be disappointed by the choice and quality. My friends paid for full board and even they had to pay for certain drinks and cocktails!!!

המלון היה מהמם מכל הבחינות, הצוות הנקיון והבריכה, ארוחת הבוקר היתה טובה מאוד אך ארוחת הערב צריכה שיפור, הזמנו חדר רגיל עם בריכה פרטית והם שדרגו אותו לחדר דזלינג עם נוף לים והבריכה, זה היה מאוד שווה. הבריכה מהממת ומאוד יפה, יש גם הבריכה ליד החוף הזמנו שם מלא אוכל טעים מהבר וישבנו בפרטיות כי אנשים העדיפו הבריכה הראשית, לסיכום הכל היה מושלם והמחיר היה מאוד שווה.

Overall, we had a great experience with the @Akashahotel_Spa, staff was incredibly helpful, and the amenities were great, starting with the welcome drink, upgraded our room to sea view with Jacuzzi, perfectly clean room, wonderful decoration and most importantly food, Mr. Nikose (the Service Manager) took almost care by HIMSELF for our food which was cooked separately and gave us new vessels which were used only for us specially. Nikose was always available and help us and supported us in each and every way. We really appreciate his dedication to his work and quality service he provides to the visitors.

We give 5 stars and highly recommend @Akashahotel_Spa to all the people from Israel and all over the world.

Wir waren 4 Nächte im Hotel und wir verstehen die guten Bewertungen wegen des Services überhaupt nicht. Der Service an der Reception war nicht zuvorkommend, beim Check-Out waren sie sehr abwesend und haben sich nicht mal bedankt und beim Frühstück ging es sehr lange bis mal jemand gekommen ist. Das Zimmer und die Hotelanlage sowie die Lage allgemein waren aber sehr schön. Jedoch waren wir geschockt wegen der Situation mit den Pool-Liegen, sowas haben wir noch NIE erlebt! Der Pool öffnet um 9.00 Uhr und obwohl in den Hotelregeln steht, dass keine Reservationen der Sonnenliegen erlaubt ist, stehen ab 8.15 Uhr die Leute mit Ihren Tüchtern am Poolrand in einer SCHLANGE an! Es werden sogar Absperrungen dafür aufgestellt. Nur damit man noch einen freien Platz am Pool bekommt! Das war echt das allerletzte und sehr unangenehm. Aufgrunddessen gehen dann alle zur gleichen Zeit ans Frühstücksbuffet, weshalb es überlaufen ist.

Wir hatten Frühstück und Abendessen gebucht. Das Hotel hat uns dann jeweils entscheiden lassen, ob wir anstelle Abendessen lieber Mittagessen möchten. Das fanden wir super und haben oft das Mittagessen gewählt. Abends haben wir meist in verschiedenen Restaurants im Ort gegessen.

5 étoiles mais ne correspond pas du tout aux autres hôtels de même catégorie moins chers et beaucoup plus luxueux que celui-ci
piscine et transats complet à 8h30
aucune place dans la piscine principal
music trop forte et piscine inaccessible trop de monde et d’enfants qui crient et la seconde piscine un peu ridicule mais il n’y a que ici qu’on pouvait se poser car aucun transat libre sur la plage avec des gros rochers pour y acceder il faut mettre des sandales il y a tellement d’autres coins plus beaux chic et luxueux à moindre prix
sinon accueil du personnel restauration adorable et les chambres sont belles et confortables
