Kalahari Anib Lodge Camping2Go is situated on the eastern fringes of Namibia in the Kalahari Desert, 33. 5 km from the city of Mariental.
The tented camp offers comfortable accommodation, where guests can relax around a cosy campfire and enjoy the surroundings. Accommodation is offered in 4 permanent, structured tents that have been set up close to Kalahari Anib Lodge.
Each tent is equipped with 4 single beds, an en-suite bathroom with a shower, and a kitchen on the outside terrace, equipped with a fridge, stove, sink, necessary cooking utensils, and cutlery. There is also an outside braai, as well as a firepit.
Guests can make use of the facilities at Kalahari Anib Lodge, where meals can be enjoyed at the restaurant, or guests can take a dip in one of the pools or partake in any lodge activities. The lodge is an ideal stopover for those traveling between Windhoek and the south, or continuing to the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park.

We were there in February (Namibian summer) so it was hot in the tent during the day, and the huge water-filled cooling thingy (don't know what it's called) didn't help at all, if anything it made the tent hotter not to mention the noise it made. We decided to just open the windows and through in the warm breeze. It was better once the sun had gone down. Otherwise it was a great stay. Staff were nice and friendly and we enjoyed the sundowner game drive.

Amazing privacy & great for stargazing (less light pollution - close to zero - than around the lodge). We had everything we needed in term of facilities. The only slight negative was the staff - when we asked for some info (e.g. the walking trails on the property), they didn't really make an effort to explain things well.

There is a good bit of distance between each of the four tents, so it feels completely private. The setting is beautiful and peaceful. It’s the best of both worlds: the tent is equipped with everything you need for self-catering and braai, but you have the option of eating at the lodge restaurant too. We enjoyed the pool, a long walk, stargazing, and ebiking with views of eland, zebra, and springbok. The main negative was that it was extremely hot when we were there. The afternoon sun hit the dining area of the tent full on. There is a portable AC unit in the tent which did help somewhat, but next time I would choose a different time of year!

It's in a great location in Mariental, making it the ideal stopover if you're coming from Windhoek and then continuing south. Equipped with every comfort, the restaurant dinner and breakfast are excellent. Extraordinary location. Superb cleanliness, even the pool deserves a mention. Highly recommended.

Die Zelte stehen wunderschön in der Landschaft, jeweils ca. 50 Meter voneinander entfernt und einen kurzen Spaziergang von der Lodge. In der Lodge gibt es alle Annehmlichkeiten die man mitnutzen kann (Frühstück/Abendessen gegen Aufpreis), alle Mitarbeiter waren super freundlich und hilfsbereit
