Located approximately 30 km northeast of Mariental, this lodge offers an ideal stopover en route to southern Namibia. Nestled in a lush oasis beneath towering palm trees, amidst the red dunes of the Kalahari Desert, it's a perfect place to relax and recharge.

The surrounding area is notable for the green acacias and golden grasses that contrast beautifully with the red sand. The lodge's reception area doubles as a curio shop and is well-stocked with an array of Namibian arts and crafts, locally produced cosmetics, toiletries, jewelry, clothing, and ornaments—a perfect place to buy souvenirs.

Great way to experience the Kalahari

Relatively small rooms, but appointed so beautifully. The resort is attractive and although the reserve is relatively small (<20,000 hectares) compared to Okonjima,it’s significantly more affordable. Highly recommend doing the evening sundowner ride (extra charge, but worth it)

A beautiful place if you’re looking for solitude and enjoy swimming or drinking. If, however, you’re not a drinker or swimmer then there’s not too much more to do apart from taking walks. No fridge or TVs in the rooms. Meal was buffet style so if you didn’t like much on the menu you still had to pay full price. For me, personally, it didn’t work somI transferred to the Namibian Desert Lodge which, in my opinion, was much better.

Fantastic place

Amazing! There was a eland in the yard right outside our door. There were about a dozen people singing at our dinner which made a wonderful dinner even more memorable. The room was beautiful. I highly recommend this property.

EXTRAORDINARY SERVICE

Wow, it was increadible. We arrived just after 9pm and we were served dinner as requested. Our accommodation was superior (Camp and Go!!) Emilia was just sooooo amazing!!! Staff was soooo accommodating and friendly. We had a lovely breakfast the next morning and was sad to leave but needed to reach our distination. We WILL be back!!!

Nice lodge, quiet town

Lovely lodge, helpful staff and very kind and friendly nice walks nearby. Sundowner drive a bit uneventful - and I imagine it's usually the case--but the drinks and guides were all a treat.

One note is that they had trouble finding our reservation.. It took several minutes and staff to eventually find tit. Not sure if this is due to booking on a third party site vs directly.

Nice Lodge in the desert

This attractive Lodge was a welcome sight after a long drive. The pool was inviting Ona hot summer day.

The food was fabulous as was the setting. Watching the sun go down and the animals coming up to the deck where we were eating.

Lovely hotel on the edge of the Desert.

The lovely hotel is in a private game reserve. The staff is friendly, the rooms are spotless, decorated with copper and wood and fitted with a modern bathroom and a comfortable and relaxing front patio.

Sitting in the bar lounge and watching the animals drift by while enjoying a cocktail with the setting sun as the back drop makes for a special evening only to be enhanced by eating a delicious dinner under the stars on the deck of nearby dinning room.

Great desert experience in luxury

The location and facilities are great and the buffet dinner at ND300 is well worth it. We also enjoyed the game drive, but note that the afternoon drives can book out early. We also took the self guided walking tour and were surprised how many animals we saw. Being a lot quieter than the drive allowed us to get quite close to them.

We needed a place to stay on our way back from camping in Koakoland to Cape Town. What a lovely place, quiet and beautifully decorated and maintained, with friendly and efficient staff. A perfect place after 'roughing it' in the bush.

Convenient accomodation for our holiday circuit. Hotel was clean and staff were freindly. The thing that will stick in our minds about the one night stopover was the after dinner singing provided by the catering staff.

Pur essendo localizzata nel deserto del kalahari è ben accessibile. All'interno molto.piacevole la sistemazione del complesso camere tutto attorno alla piscina centrale. Nice place in the Kalahari Desert. Very much enjoyed the sundowner and morning dune walk drives, lots of anmials to see. Very friendly staff and guides, nice shop. Rooms are a bit dated and rather small, though. Good choice of food at the dinner buffet.

Schön angelegte Unterkunft in der Kalahari-Region. Zimmer etwas in die Jahre gekommen.
Das Team war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Das Abendessen hatte eine sehr gute Auswahl und das Fleisch war trotz der Menge sehr gut gelungen.
Auf der Sundowner-Tour haben wir viel erfahren und auch viele verschiedene Tiere gesehen. Dabei wurde immer die Distanz zu den Tieren gewahrt. Pool, Spielplatz, Tier-Trails waren alle gut.

Almost always happy with service but this was not acceptable, from arrogant welcome at the front desk to breakfast personell uninterested in serving coffee. Not one smiling face at this place. Cannot recommend this lovely location if handled in this manner.

Il lodge si trova all'interno di una zona di dune di sabbia rossa ai margini del deserto del Kalahari, in mezzo a un paesaggio spettacolare. Gli appartamenti sono curati e confortevoli, lenzone di servizio (ristorante, bar, reception, focolare e piscina) sono arredate xon gusto e funzionali. Ottimo il buffet. Interessantenil game drive all'interno della proprietà.

Schöner Einstieg auf der Fahrt von Windhoek in den Süden Namibias in der Kalahari. Wir sind den Zebratrail gelaufen und haben viele Tiere gesehen. Essen in Buffetform war sehr gut. Unser Chalet war mit direkter Sicht auf die Kalahari und auf ein Wasserloch mit Tierbesuchen. Sehr schöner Aufenthalt

Lodge was nice as all Gondwana Lodges. Rooms are nicely decorated and clean. Staff is really friendly and food is delicious. However, there are some points that we did not like: the AC is directly pointed towards the bed. We need to turn it off as otherwise we might get sick. they should place it somewhere else in the room.
Second point: tables for dinner and breakfast are only prepared inside. But all guests want to sit outside. At breakfast there weren‘t enough prepared tables so I didn’t had fork/knife or a coffee cup for almost 20 minutes…

Oase in der Wüste

Dies war der erste Stopp auf unserer Namibia, Rundreise und einfach nur zum wohlfühlen. Wir hatten Glück und unsere Lodge ging zur Wüste hinaus. Den tollen Service, die Getränke und ein leckeres Abendessen haben wir sehr genossen. Das Highlight war die Sundowner Tour mit John „Rambo“, bei der es 3 Stunden auf einen Game Drive mit anschließendem Sundowner ging. Einfach großartig!

Lodge con vista sul Kalahari.

La struttura è molto bella e ben curata, la camera era meravigliosa e il portico con vista aperta sul Kalahari era spettacolare. Servizio eccellente, colazione nella media, poteva essere più varia e buffet a cena con diverse proposte per tutti i gusti, sempre nello standard namibiano in cui si predilige la carne.

Super mooi verblijf, zeer vriendelijk personeel, de sunset drive is erg leuk (in de winter erg koud, warm aankleden), veel dieren gezien! Het lopendbuffet was zeer variërend, erg lekker! Dat geld voor ontbijt en diner. We verbleven in een familie kamer, de kinderen hadden een eigen kamer. Wc en douche zijn apart.

Alles in allem ein gelungener Aufenthalt

Die Lodge ist schön etwas in die Jahre gekommen und die Zimmer könnten eine Renovierung vertragen, allerdings war unser Zimmer sehr sauber und das Bett bequem und mit gutem Moskitonetz ausgestattet, zum Glück, denn wir hatten sehr viel Mücken im Zimmer. Ein Fön war zwar vorhanden, konnte aber nicht benutzt werden, da der Stecker in keine der Steckdosen passte. Die Terrasse hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Frühstück und Abendessen waren sehr gut, das Personal stets freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir haben den Sundowner-Drive mitgemacht, das war toll, können wir in jedem Fall empfehlen.

schöne Lodge am Rande der Kalahari

Die Anib Lodge ist eine sehr schöne Lodge, die Zimmer sind schön eingerichtet. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit direktem Blick aufs Wasserloch, es kamen jedoch sehr wenige Tiere. Überhaupt sind der wenige Tiere auf dem gesamten Gelände zu sehen. Man kann die Lodge bedenkenlos weiter empfehlen.

Die perfekte Anlaufstelle für einen Urlaub in der Kalahari. Das Personal ist ausgesprochen zuvorkommend, die Camping2Go Zelte sind sehr gut ausgestattet. Auch im afrikanischen Winter war es noch warm genug, wobei man dennoch warme Kleidung mitnehmen sollte. Die Aktivitäten sind sehr zu empfehlen, wir haben den Scorpion Walk und den Morning Drive gemacht. Internet war um die Rezeption herum sehr gut. Die Lage um die roten Dünen herum ist hervorragend.

Sehr gut - aber...

Insgesamt sehr gut, Dass und was die Nutzung der E-Bikes kostet, hätte man vorher sagen können. Am Abreise-Morgen war Trubel, weil Zahlung vorübergehend nur mit Bargeld möglich war.
