The hotel is great for travellers. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean, comfortable and nicely furnished. The bed and bedding are good quality and very comfortable (we had a king).
The area is very busy with lots of action so that means lots of noise but the band playing in the square outside our room stopped around 10:00 pm so not a problem for sleeping
The restaurant has a very different vibe than the hotel…not on the same level. Food was adequate but the staff are great.
I would stay here again but eat elsewhere.

Breakfast included but is more continental buffet with pastries, cereals, yogurts, boiled eggs, deli, etc. Overall breakfast was fine and got us through the afternoon. Room is small but well kept. We were on the third floor, the flooring is wood flooring, so when someone above our room walked around or moved chairs/bed, you could definitely hear it. Our room was on the side of where all the restaurants were and at night it could be noisy from their guests and music performers. If you're a light sleeper, this may not be for you. The location was Perfect! Walkable to so many landmarks, shopping and restaurants. The only thing that really bothered us was the strong smell of the cheese from the restaurant below.

I only spent one night at the Hotel Adler Zurich as I had an early flight out the next morning. It was a good experience as the room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful with helping to choose a restaurant for dinner and making sure there was a taxi waiting to get me to the airport in the morning. And it is located in Old Town - greta location! I would stay again if I ever get back to Zurich.

The hotel was very good. Spotlessly clean, everything worked well and I really enjoyed my 4 nights staying here and I slept very well each night once I fell asleep. A little bit of street noise from neighbouring restaurants but manageable. Super convenient location in the Center of the old town and I would stay again .

We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay at Hotel Adler. The staff was extremely helpful in providing directions for our activities. The room was immaculate and well equipped with everything we needed for our comfort and storage. Both our cheese fondue dinner and included breakfast buffet were delicious. We really appreciated the complimentary bottles of water and sodas. The hotel is centrally located in Old Town and within easy walking distance from the train station.

My room was given a quick clean and straightened up each day and i recieved new towels.
The staff were all really friendly in the hotel and the restaurant- I twice ate in the hotel in the evening and even though people were queuing out the door they ensured i was accommodated. The foundue was amazing.
The hotel is traditional swiss - some of the wood in my room could do with refinishing but everything otherwise was well maintained.
The bed was super comfy.
TV - i had some access to UK channels.
Shower was really powerful.
You had free access to a fridge downstairs for soft drinks and water to take to your room.

Only complaint is that the Expedia listing advertised a “24 hour airport shuttle”. Expedia promoted this feature as a “rare find”. This was the main reason I booked this hotel (as opposed to others that looked comparable). It turns out that there is no airport shuttle and they offered to arrange one for a price that was more than double what I paid for an Uber. I don’t know if this is the hotel’s fault or Expedia’s fault but it was misleading.

The room was spotless! The front desk team was outstanding each interaction friendly, knowledgeable and participants in making the stay excellent. The location is just wonderful in old town — and also the morning breakfast staff was superb — I am guilty of not remembering the name of one young man who helped me each morning, but at the time the only young man working deserves a special shout out for his hospitality! Superb hotel—very central, cute, clean, and cozy. Located in the middle of all old town action, the windows and walls are so well insulated, it’s impossible to hear any noise. Simple but healthy breakfast was an extra bonus. Highly recommend.

Location is great - right in the middle of the Old Town - so most sights within walking distance. Only downside is noise from the street outside at night. There are a couple of bars on the same street, and - even with the windows closed - it's very loud, so bring earplugs.

Nice hotel. Great restaurant downstairs. Super convenient to shops and other restaurants in historic part of Zürich. The square gets a little noisy in the evening. But usually quiets down before midnight. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is in an excellent location in Old Town Zurich. It is less than 10 minutes' walk away from the main train station. The area is safe and yet convenient, with easy access to lots of main attractions. The hotel is essentially a boutique hotel in a renovated ancient building so it is full of character and yet it has modern conveniences and comfort! The room is very nicely renovated in a rustic yet modern decor, and I like that it has a safe. However, there is no bar fridge inside (though not an issue for me). The breakfast was quite nice - I loved the fact that it had smoked salmon!!! The food variety was decent (though not outstanding, except for the smoked salmon!) and it was served in the Swiss Chuchi Restaurant, which was part of the hotel. It was again full of character and quite charming. The hotel offers half-price entry to the Kunsthaus Zurich, which is an absolutely delightful art museum with a very good collection - it is one of the must-see things in Zurich! The only issue that I had during my stay was that there was a small plumbing issue in my bathroom - given how old the building was, this probably was not surprising - the hotel staff did try to make it work for me and I appreciated it. Overall, I had a very lovely stay! I highly recommend this hotel and would stay there again for sure.

Really nice hotel. Older style, but clean, well kept, and the staff were all lovely. It's in a fabulous location right in the old town and it took me about 15 minutes to walk there relatively slowly, from the station, so location wise, couldn't be better.

I'll definitely be staying here again next time I'm in Zurich.

Hotel Adler Zurich was in a perfect location to experience Zurich—close to landmarks but not on a busy street. Room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was tasty and staff was very friendly. We were in need of a new piece of luggage due to a broken zipper and the ladies working the front desk were very helpful with store recommendations and directions. Really nice boutique-esque hotel in the centre of the Altstadt. The staff were very friendly, I really liked the free water and soft drinks too. Nice room, a little small, but it was very nicely furnished. Nice breakfast too. I would recommend!

Great location, great price

This is a reasonably priced hotel in a great location in Zurich's Old City. Only a 10 minute walk from the main train station, it is in the middle of tons of restaurants and shops, and walking distance to many cultural sites. The staff are also very nice and professional. I would stay here again.

The hotel is in a great spot, just a quick 10 minute walk to the Duomo Cathedral. It’s not the newest place, but the cleaning staff really do a great job keeping things tidy. The best part has to be the breakfast, it’s amazing! The service in the breakfast area is super friendly, and I was totally surprised to find latte art at the buffet.

Warmly Welcomed & Pleasant Stay!

I arrived late at night, but still, was warmly welcomed by the young girl at reception. She provided clear information about my stay and explained that guests can help themselves to cold beverages from the lobby fridge, free of charge. This was a lovely touch. My room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The hotel itself is located in an ideal proximity to local landmarks, shops, restaurants and public transport. Overall, an extremely pleasant stay and highly recommended to fellow travellers.
