Der Heiderhof is a very classy hotel. Well appointed, beautifully decorated and a very helpful staff. The spa and work-out room were wonderful and the breakfast was excellent. There is not much to do in the immediate area but it is only 10 minutes to the city center and perhaps 20 minutes to all the outdoor activities of the AltMuhl nature preserve. My one disappointment was the bed. It was very hard, the pillow too flat, and the comforter too thick for a summer evening. I did not sleep well at all.

Not good for a short business trip.
It’s dated. The staff is very helpful but the rooms are old. No tea/coffee making. Charge €15 for an Ironing board! Or send your clothes for hotel laundry - if you are arriving late, and have a morning meeting, it’s not a good option. No air conditioning in the rooms, only heating. Thankfully large windows that open but then attract a lot of machinery noise (hotel’s plant room I guess).

Not what i was expecting
I booked a one bed business room and expected way more comfort as what this room had. There was no air conditioning and the room was heated up from the sun all day long. also the wireless was so bad i had to use my cellphone as hotspot to work with my laptop. also it was supposed to be a no smoker room and there were cigarette burns on the washroom sink. the leather in the elevator were smelling really bad too.
this hotel was a top address 10 years ago but in my opinion it is not anymore.
I will not stay there ever again. There are better hotels for way better rates in ingolstadt.

Impressive Pool and Spa, Very Clean, Relaxing
The pool and spa are impressive. There are 7+ treatment chambers (aromatherapy, salt rock relaxation, Himalayan sauna, traditional sauna, Japanese garden, etc.). Service and breakfast were solid. Rooms were very clean (though I'm not a fan of German beds in general). Ample parking. In-room WiFi did not work very well for me.

I stay at this hotel only because it's close the area where I have business to do.
It's one of most expensive hotels in Ingolstadt and does not offer free WIFI and free parking (in an outer area). They charge 9,00 Euro for 24 hours Internet, which is nowadays ridiculous.

Steps up to reception, no ramp. So if you are using a wheelchair, pushchair or even wheeled luggage, it will be a struggle. And the lift isn't big enough to take a wheelchair anyway.
We had asked in advance for a cot/crib for our two year old. We got a wooden roll away bed. Quite cute, until the two year old falls out, runs around... And it seemed odd that, with only a small handful of rooms in use, we were put on the top floor furthest away from reception, with a toddler and many bags. And then someone moved in next door...
The room was next to another adjoining room, but with a single door separating them, not the usual double door set up. We discovered this when the neighbour arrived at 2200, trying to enter our room. The lack of sound insulation meant we knew his nationality, his relationship status, even his use of the toilet. And he liked his TV on loud late at night.
A warm summer's night meant a very hot room. No air conditioning or fan. No bath mat, so the bathroom floor was quite slippy. And no hand soap for the sink.
Breakfast was ok
€2 per night for parking in an open car park, thus just seems like profiteering.

Convenient for the Audi Museum
We stayed here one night as we wanted to visit the Audi museum which was a short drive away. Hotel has the benefit of a swimming pool and spa (although the spa was being renovated at the time we stayed but the indoor and outdoor pools were open). The room was very clean, comfortable and quiet with the benefit of air conditioning. Parking and breakfast were included but this was the only hotel on our tour that charged extra for wifi (€3 per hour or €9 for 24 hours) and considering the grade of hotel I would expect wifi to be free. We stayed in smaller hotels which provided free wifi. Just a thought for the hotel to think about. We drove into the Old Town in the evening for a meal.

Loved our stay!
I wish more people would rate this hotel. I was reluctant to book it as there weren't many reviews, we loved this hotel. Excellent staff who were friendly, professional and helpful. We stayed in a business suite, it was beautiful and spacious, only thing I woud say, bed was too hard for my liking. Indoor pool and spa were great, like a little oasis, tastefully decorated. Food was superb, fresh, delicious and well presented. Would highly recommend this hotel if staying in the ingolstadt area.

Vi har haft to overnatninger på hotellet og vi synes godt om det. Det eneste vi synes der mangler er engelsk oversættelse i spa området så vi kunne forstå de forskellige sauna’s bedre. Og måske en lidt mere tydlig kommunikation omkring det er med eller uden tøj spa området benyttes.

Wir waren als Freundinnen für ein Wellnesswochenende in diesem schönen Hotel. Grundsätzlich waren wir sehr zufrieden, da das Hotel und auch der Wellnessbereich wirklich schön sind. Das Frühstück war auch sehr lecker und wirklich umfangreich!
Ein paar Kritikpunkte gibt es aber leider trotzdem, die uns schon sehr gestört haben:
1) im August kann man keine Wellnessbehandlungen buchen (das steht aber leider in keinem Buchungstool - hatte Preise/Leistungen verglichen)
2) die Sauna hat nur Glaswände (kein Milchglas), sodass man sich schon recht beobachtet gefühlt hat, von Gästen, die nur mal eben den Bereich anschauen wollen
3) es gibt in der Sauna kein Hinweisschild oder Ähnliches, ob hier textil oder textilfrei sauniert werden soll. Das ist für beide Seiten irgendwie unangenehm. Ich persönlich finde es auch nicht sehr hygienisch bei 90Grad zu saunieren und dann in den gleichen Badeklamotten wieder in den Pool zu springen..
4) obwohl das Hotel im August quasi leer ist, zeigte man sich für einen Late Check Out (es ging um 13 statt 12 Uhr) leider nicht flexibel.
Was wirklich schön war ist die Umgebung.. es ist nicht weit zu einem kleinen kostenlosen Wildpark mit einem tollen Baggersee, der zum Baden/SUP einlädt. Es gibt auch diverse leckere Restaurants in Laufweite, wenn man nicht immer im Hotel essen möchte. Ein Einkaufszentrum ist auch nicht weit.
Ich persönlich war viel joggen, was auch problemlos möglich ist.
Also ich denke, wie würden nochmal kommen ☺️

Hotel molto moderno ed elegante, zona comune davvero tenuta bene e pulita. Area wellness molto grande, organizzata su due piani con bella piscina esterna e molte zone relax. Colazione da 10 e lode, vastissima gamma di prodotti ed ottima qualità. Purtroppo ho trovato la camera un po' datata con moquette diversamente pulita ed un un po' di cattivo odore. Peccato per questo dettaglio.

Der Heidehofist insgesamt ein sehr gutes Wellnesshotel. Es verfügt über einen tollen Pool im Haus mit künstlichhem Wasserfall, einer Strömungsanlage als Schwimmerlebnis, einen Whirlpool und ein Aussenbecken. Auch die Saunen einen Stock tiefer können sich sehen lassen und sind sehr gepflegt. Die beiden unterschiedlich temperierten Saunen, ein Dampfbad, ein Soleraum, ein Tepidarium, Ruheräume und ein paar Erlebnisduschen runden diesen Bereich ab. Es war nie überfüllt und man konnte im Innen -oder Außenbereich immer zur Ruhe kommen. Hier ein kleiner Kritikpunkt: Die Öffnungszeiten des Wellnessbereiches erst um 10.00 Uhr. Hier wäre es vielleicht schöner wenn man um 09.00 Uhr oder 08.00 Uhr schon Zugang hätte.
Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und groß genug für 2 Personen. Einzig und allein eine Klimaanlage hätte bei den sommerlichen Temperaturen ein wenig für kühlere Zimmertemperaturen sorgen können. Die haben wir ein bisschen vermisst. Das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig und hier kann wirklich jeder satt werden. Über das Lokal im Hotel kann ich nichts berichten, da wir 2x auswärts zum Abendessen gegangen sind. Alles in allem ist das Hotel aber sehr empfehlenswert

Freundliches Service - Team, sehr schön eingerichtete Zimmer und Bad, leider fehlt überall etwas mehr Sicherheiten, an Handläufe, barrierefreie Auf-/-bzw. Einfahrt für Behinderte. So schön das Bad ist, auch hier fehlen Griffe, wie auch am Einstieg in das wunderschöne Schwimmbecken.

Fantastisk hotel og SPA oplevelse.
Vi havde en rigtig god oplevelse med dette SPA hotel. Kvalitet og SPA var helt i topklasse og sammen med både et godt og rent værelse og en hyggelig restaurant som serverede rigtig god mad til prisen var det samlet set et hotel vi sagtens ville besøge igen en anden dag.

Fint hotell som nå begynner å bli litt slitt. Hadde business rom, men synes ikke det var noen oppgradering fra et standard rom på andre hoteller. Små rom, veldig enkelt bad og i tillegg var det dårlig og fuktig luft på rommet. Det ble bedre når jeg hadde vinduet åpent, men da kom det støy fra gaten utenfra. Synes det også er merkelig at et SPA hotell ikke har et treningsrom . Kjenner ikke prisnivået på hoteller i Ingolstad men synes ikke 1 natt på dette hotellet var verdt 140 EUR.

Hotellet har ikke Air Condition noe som gjorde at det ble utrolig varmt på rommet. Deler av hotellet er pusset opp, men det luktet vondt på badet. Hotellet tar betalt for parkering(kun 3 EUR pr. døgn). Badeanlegget åpner ikke før kl. 1100 på morgenen, slik at man går glipp av et morgenbad.

Das schönste an diesem Hotel ist der Wellnessbereich. Von der Hotelbedienung kein Guten morgen oder sonstige Kommunikation ob man zum Frühstück ein Kaffee oder sonstiges möchte. Bügeleisen ausleihen 15€ -(. Sauna Bereich Nutzung nochmal 10,-€ pro Person Extra obwohl man Übernachtungsgast ist. Und das bei 150,-€ pro Nacht.

Actually a nice place. HOWEVER very very unpolite and unprofessional staff. You will charge 15 EUR to borrow an iron which doesn’t get warmer than your hand, so of course it can’t iron. After telling this staff simply returned with “you order a service and you have to pay regardless that it can’t be used for ironing”. If you want to use internet for anything bigger than smallest possible email it’s another 5 EUR per hour. Dining in the bar we were served 2 dishes that was clearly warmed in microwave( you know warm in center (really burning hot) and cold around it). Second dish wash even ineatible! We returned the dishes nearly untouched and still we had to pay for it. When complaining the staff said they called the police , which they didn’t, sadly I do understand German, after 40 min of discussions the miraclessly found someone that remembered that we returned the dishes and that part was credited. However not the nine working iron.

Il ristorante é di buona qualitá, i prezzi sono nella media considerando il target. L'unica pecca vera é che nella mia stanza il segnale wi-fi internet era molto basso e mi é stato impossibile navigare, l'ho notificato in reception ma non hanno risolto il problema. Ho dovuto usare il mio cellulare e venendo dall'estero ho dovuto spendere qualcosina, se si ha bisogno del wi-fi per lavoro, valutare con attenzione.

Schöner Spa-Bereich;dort fehlten mir aber die Handtücher.Wir mussten das eine Handtuch, das es auf dem Zimmer gab, mit zum Schwimmen und in die Sauna nehmen. Das kennen wir anders. Auch fehlte dort ein Wasserspender o.ä. Für eine Nacht war das Hotel ok. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr gut!

I suggest the hotel management rethinks this aspect.

Der Check In war sehr nett, der Check Out eine Katastrophe. In meiner Buchung war ein kostenlosen Frühstück, allerdings frühstücke ich nie und lasse es immer verfallen. Leider war auf der Rechnung trotzdem das Frühstück mit 6,5 € angeben, auf Nachfrage ob man dies runternehmen kann oder einen Vermerk machen kann, dass ich kein Frühstück eingenommen hatte, wurde nicht eingegangen. Es gab keine Vorschläge und kein entgegenkommen. Die Zimmer sind schon etwas Älter, aber noch okay. Eine Klimaanlage fehlt leider bei den Temperaturen, das WLan könnte besser sein.
