The sink was broken in the bathroom and when I asked why they can’t change my room the next day I came back from long day out I saw they broke one of my art pieces that I bought for my son I don’t recommend to stay here it’s not safe

This is my 5/6th stay but by far the worst. The rooms are tired, very warm…the fan in the room very basic and noisy. Really horrible pillows, shower/bath small and old fashioned. Left balcony door open and very noisy outside…then very early market set up…but that’s fine as it’s a local market
Afraid I’ll be trying somewhere else next time.

A very good town centre hotel in a largely pedestrianised area. The staff were all polite, spoke good English and helpful. A nice terrace for good weather. The beef restaurant below was great. There was also an all you can eat Chinese I've nearby.

To be honest, there were a lot of ups and downs for a one night stay, but we walked away happy.
Smooth check in but with a miscommunication about our breakfast in bed that we had specially ordered. The requested baby crib was already in the room but there were also earplugs so you know what that means. The eco friendly wash was out by the sink but there was plenty in the shower. When we went down to clarify the breakfast issue, the very friendly staff promised it would be delivered at 8am.
Slept a bit rocky and definitely needed the earplugs because there was a lot of noise from the surrounding bars and restaurants.
In the morning 8am came and went with no food in sight. At 8.30 called down and they had no idea what we were talking about. They called back a few minutes later and said breakfast was on it's way. 9am came and went with no knock at our door. Toddler was now starving and crying so i called down again (with said screaming toddler on my arm). 5 minutes later...The Most Beautiful Breakfast I Have Ever Seen was rolled into our room. I felt like Juila Roberts in Pretty Woman. It was amazing.
No idea if this was the normal fare or if it was to make up for the mishap, but who cares. We ate like royalty. And to boot they apologized by giving us 20 euros as recompense.
Overall it was a cute little hotel in a central location, perfect for a quick trip to see Lelystad.

I only use this hotel (and have done for years) due to its proximity to our office in Lelystad.
The hotel is worn and dated, not invested in, and clearly is understaffed resulting in poor service.
apparently due for refit next year, which hopefully will make it better value for money. at present is only location that speaks for using it compared to the new van der valk who charge the same price but much better facility

This hotel is quite old and that is noticable on everything. Old bathroom, no AC, and the bath almost falls out of the hinges. Due to the high temperature there was a small fan, but nowhere enough to sleep comfortable. And besides this a grumpy old guy at the desk who thought he knew it all. We will not visit here again

We stayed in this hotel om arrival to Lelystad one week earlier and liked it very much, so we returned on the way back. Because of the varm weather we booked a suite with air condition this time. Comfortable beds, lovely bathroom, good wifi and very good breakfast. The staff was very helpful. Restaurants close as well as shops.

When you just have to stay in Lelystad

The Apollo Hotel in Lelystad is fairly minimalist, but always clean and makes for an acceptable stay if you just have to be in Lelystad. Not many other options really. The staff here are always pleasant and helpful.

I think the hotel is very good with very friendly reception staff. I stay here quite often for business and they always make you feel very welcome. They have a very busy all you can eat Chinese restaurant within the building which offers very good value for money. The rooms and bed are very comfortable and each room boosts a modernist design. The only negative is that the Wifi reception on the upper floors is pretty poor.

We were told where the breakfast room was at the time of our check in. What we were not told was that it was going to cost us 35eu for two to have a lousy breakfast with the worst selection. I had a yoghurt and a slice of bread with cheese. Coffee and juice. Most expensive breakfast ever at a hotel.
What a bummer.
They also wanted us to pay for parking across the street, but then took pity and gave a a waiver. The parking lot was empty overnight, so was most of the hotel.

Had a 1 night stay here while on business. Room was a great size and lots of floor space, only downside was the heating was not on in the room and the smaller radiator took a while to heat the room up. Hotel not very busy, however this may be due to the early weekday night I booked. Staff were very nice and helpful. I will book here again on future trips to the area.

Lost wifi connection on the second day of my stay ( 2 nights). Also lost the tv completly half way through my second night . Only one person on the desk who did her best but could not help me . All i was offered was a free breakfast . As there were no tea or coffee machines in the room and i had paid £202 for two nights i found this offer to be completly unacceptable .

This hotel was rated 4-star. The room we were first given didn't come close. I could purchase better chairs and couches second-hand very easily. The staff at the desk were very gracious. They did give us another room, but still not 4-star in our books. Would probably rate this hotel 2-star.

The hotel was really nice, the room was big and clean, but we had a problem with the lock from the 1st day of our stay. We had to wait 40mins before getting in our room when we arrived. And then it didn't work again during the night, we were stuck at 4am outside our room, and had to wait for more than an hour until someone finally came to open!
I asked to see the manager, it never happened...

€12,50 for 24hr internet access, and you can connect only one device...!!! I have never seen so expensive and bad service for net access. I also saw the dust cleaning was on a very poor level. Service from the staff was from ok to good. General in NL it's very service friendly, and their English language it's the best in Europe (except from UK of course). Lelystad is 1hr from Amsterdam, and it's nothing to see there. It's an big factory outlet and a nice harbour, that's it.

Wir haben hier eine Nacht mit Frühstück gebucht. Insgesamt ein tolles Hotel, sehr freundlicher Service, tolle Zimmer. Sogar mit Kaffeemaschine und Willkommens Kaffee, Tee und Wasser. Lediglich das Bad bedarf einer Renovierung.
Ansonsten tolles Hotel! Frühstück ist empfehlenswert und reichhaltig!

Leider scheint es in dem Hotel niemanden zu geben, der dem Personal sagt, dass man vor allem im Bereich des Frühstücksbüffet durchaus mal einen Putzlappen verwenden MUSS! Normalerweise bin ich kein Freund von Hotelbewertungen, aber in diesem Fall kann ich die Kritik nicht ersparen.

Wir hatten zunächst ein nicht klimatisiertes Zimmer zur Terasse des Hotels und einer Straße. Bei warmen Wetter und diesem Gebäude war das sehr unangenehm. Nachdem wir das reklamiert haben, wurde uns ein Zimmer mit Klimaanlage angeboten. Leider mussten wir feststellen das die Klimaanlage nicht funktionierte. Ebenso funktionierte die TV-Fernbedienung nicht. Aus der Decke hing ein LED-Spot und die Fenster und Balkon waren mit Schokoladenreste verunreinigt. Morgens beim Frühstück wurde es noch katastrophaler. Dreckige Tische und Teller. Beim herausnehmen des Bestecks aus der Papierserviette musste festgestellt werden, das am Messer noch Ei-Reste vom letzten Benutzer klebten. Altes vergammeltes Obst setze dem noch die Krone auf. Absolut nicht empfehlenswertes Hotel, das eine Schande für die Leonardo Hotel Gruppe ist.

De lokatie is troosteloos. Maar dat is het nou eenmaal bij een binnenstad en een stad die slaapt. Er is nog geen ziel in Lelystad. De medewerkers zijn erg vriendelijk en heel gastvrij. Het ontbijt was voortreffelijk en goed verzorgt. De accommodatie is toe aan een nieuwe jas. Het is allemaal nog een beetje jaren 80/90 stijl. Het bed was prima. Let op: als je een kamer hebt aan de voorkant kan je het raam in de avond beter dicht houden vanwege het restaurant aan de overkant. Anders lig je in een kamer gevuld met de geuren van het eten.

De kamer was schoon, alleen de toiletbril was kapot. Handig zou zijn als er een anti-slip matje in het bad was (bad/douche in een). Er was een waterkoker aanwezig om koffie en thee te zetten, met voor twee personen een zakje koekjes. De aanwezigheid van en ventilator in deze warme dagen, was een verademing.

Ligging is goed. Schoonmaak ook maar oude wc-bril en na melding helaas nog niet vervangen. Gemiste kans. Doordat de douche/baddeur beschadigd was stond de badkamer bijna blank van het water

Het was niet schoon, er lag van alles op de vloer. Tafel was niet afgenomen. Tijdens het douchen fluctueert de temperatuur. Het bed sliep wel lekker.
