Ok for a few days stay. Room felt it was a little like a prison cell. Very odd layout as my bathroom was outside of my room. Very clean though. Staff were lovely.
Only cons were the poop pipe outside of the window so I could hear everytime someone flushed a toilet about their poop shooting down the pipe and the tv being in Spanish without any subtitles

Great location in my opinion. I was in La Rambla for 5 days and then here. A lot more quiet here. Bus routes are great. They bring you to many very important landmarks and metro stations. Neighborhood is awesome! Coffee shops, Mercat Galvany, parks and Diagonal street for shopping and strolling. This area is not full of tourists. We loved hanging out here.

Information was not clear regarding that it wasn’t really a hotel and instead it was a hostel. Also not clear that toilet was outside of the room. I didn’t stay and had to book a different hotel late that night. I’ve tried to get back my money because of this and no one at Expedia is able to help me with this. I’m tired of not having solutions with Expedia when a problem occurs. It’s really disappointing and will share my experience with all my networks and won’t be using your app anymore if I don’t get a solution shortly.

Petit Hotel is a wonderful place and we were treated with all the comforts of home. Rosa is a perfect hostess and was instrumental in showing us the way around in Barcelona. I would stay there again in a heart beat. The elevator alone was worth the experience. Clean, comfy and quiet. Close to everything, restaurants and grocery store as well as all shopping. Extremely happy to have stayed here

We had a wonderful stay. Rosa was incredibly helpful, which meant we were able to see everything we wanted to see using public transport. Although the Petit is small, it's very homely, our room was just lovely & there was absolutely nothing more we could have wished for. I would recommend it to all my friends & family & when we come back to Barcelona, we would definitely be staying at the Petit again.

The Hotel Petit was in a great location. Only about 550 ft from the train and accessible to many merchants and restaurants. Rosa was amazing in giving detailed instructions for the train and what areas to visit. Louis was also helpful in providing a taxi on our departure. The facility was extremely clean and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay an enjoyable one.

The better path to Barcelona

If you come to Barcelona to spend your time in a hotel room (however unlikely) look elsewhere for your accommodation. The name itself hints - Petit. Rooms are small but comfortable, even slick. Beds, amenities, value for money - all will likely make you happy. Even more likely you will be surprised by knowledgeable, helpful and enthusiastic owners Rosa and Leo. They made our visit so much more enjoyable. I bet you won't find a better advice by googling in half a cases you try and it will take you much more time to fight Spanish/Catalun websites in the rest of cases. The place is in a beautiful building with a real butter! Petit occupies the second level. The location places you into strategically close proximity to many Barcelona's major hotspots. Happy holidays to you!

Lovely little hotel.

We had a lovely stay in petit hotel. As the name suggests, the hotel is very small and the rooms are basic but very nicely decorated and clean. The host was great, very friendly and offered good advice on places to visit and in getting around town. Fantastic value, so highly recommend.

It is not a hotel

It is not a hotel, it's a big apartment in a residential building with couple rooms. The only thing they provides are hand soap and towels which they claimed the hand soap is also shower gel and shampoo....
Walls are paper thin so you can hear everyone and there are some stains on the sheet.

Disappointing room but friendly helpful staff

The staff were friendly and helpful giving lots of information on the city. The room was a little disappointing. It was a bit cramped for two people and the bathroom had some bits that needed fixing. The shower tray was very high and a little precarious to step out of. The hotel was inexpensive and the neighborhood was quiet. Overall our stay was fine.

Very Nice Hotel

Petit hotel is a very nice and comfortable hotel. It is very close to the train station, about 6 minutes and from the train station you can get trains to any part of Barcelona. It is quiet, very clean and the owners are very friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed my stay here and will recommend to anyone.

We loved our stay at the Petit Hotel. The staff was so friendly and kind and very helpful in assisting us to get the most out of our stay in Barcelona. They provided great recommendations, suggestions and guidance for getting around the city and sites to see. Room and bathroom were very clean. Breakfast was simple and enough to get us started for the day. Just be aware the hotel is in a tall apartment building so you will need to use the buzzer to get in. We got in quite late at night so we did not see the buzzer at first because it was dark outside and we were looking for a large sign. Even though we arrived at eleven o'clock at night, the hotel's night porter was available to let us in and was very kind and friendly and provided us with maps and an explanation of the city and how to use the metros and buses. We felt very safe and comfortable at the hotel and would absolutely recommend staying there. It is located very close to some major streets in Barcelona (Diagonal and Muntaner) so it is easy to navigate around and get to the metro and bus stops just a short walk away. Many cafes and bakeries and restaurants are just a few minutes walk as well. Great experience!

Rosa and Leo run a very friendly little hotel. Although the room was quite small and had a separate bathroom (for our use only) and the breakfast was basic, this was the friendliest, most helpful hotel we've stayed in for a very long time. It was very well managed and clean, and the position was ideal as it was quiet but also close to bus routes. We would certainly recommend it to anyone looking for a basic, comfortable but inexpensive place to stay in Barcelona.

In general we had a very nice and pleasant stay.
The place is very cozy, do not expect a big hotel. The owner is very friendly and gave us very good tips.
There are rooms that have bathroom inside the room, and others are outside, which was not described in hotels.com. In our case, the bathroom was super big (two sinks).
Place is very clean and safe, though noises of the neighbors can be heard easily.
Easy access to bus and metro which makes it very easy to move around Barcelona.

NOT a hotel... It's a hostel

This is NOT a hotel... It's a hostel!! The room was so small and the bathroom sink was smaller than a mixing bowl!! There are no amenities whatsoever and they have no signage on the building (their name is only on one of the buzzers you push to be let in). We were awoken very early in the morning with barking, doors opening/shutting, etc. Such a disappointing experience!!

$100.00 a night for a tiny room, sheets clean but ripped and/or patched.!! Dreadful.

The reception area was stifling----no air movement. To read comfortably there was an impossibility given the heat and crying of the baby in the next room. (not the baby's fault but the layout of the hotel amplified the noise from any quarter.

I have travelled all over Europe and Central America, always choosing small, family-run hotels. This was the worst.

Nice friendly hotel

My boyfriend and I spent a week here late September and loved it. The hotel is not quite in the heart of the city but is a short metro ride (5-10 min) away from placa catalunya. The area it is located in is pleasant and not noisy if like me you like a good nights sleep, but does have plenty of bars and restaurants. We were greeted by Luis who along with Rosa was very helpful and friendly throughout our stay, Informing us of various places of interest and what was on and where to get buses etc from. We had one of the rooms with a separate private bathroom which was no bother for us. Both were cleaned every day, changing the sheets half way through the week, unlike most hotels which only change them when you leave. The room had air conditioning and a fridge which was great due to the hot weather. Breakfast was in their own kitchen which we only used once as we ate out most of the time. As the name suggests it is petit, but this makes it more homely. I would definitely stay here again.

Rosa was even so kind as to help us print out our tickets for Basilica Sagrada Familia and for our flight departing Barcelona. She is very knowledge about the city and wants to ensure each guest gets the most out Barcelona and their stay at Petit Hotel. We will definitely stay at Petit Hotel when we visit Barcelona again.

Petit Hotel was a wonderful experience. Personable and helpful staff. Great little breakfast to get us started in the morning. Personal sightseeing advice for our time schedule. Clean, comfortable, air-conditioned room. Close enough to all the sights without being in the tourist fray all that time. Taxis are very cheap in Barcelona so you can walk downhill to most of the sights and take a taxi home to Petit Hotel.

Perfect for our needs for a short break in Barcelona. Nice area, quiet location. We didnt need the cooking facilities of an apartment, or all those of a big hotel (restaurants, shops, gym, concergies etc). Good friendly advice given for restaurants, what to see, whats on, ransport, etc.

Ola! Great location, nice hotel and great staff!

The walk-up one flight of stairs is well worth the climb to the Petit Hotel. You will be met by the best B&B staff in Barcelona who will go \"above and beyond\" to make your visit to Barcelona special. The hotel is very quiet, clean and welcoming. Our family room was about right sized for Euro standards with an ample bathroom. Breakfast was not included in the very reasonable price, however we took up on the Continental breakfast for under three Euros--well worth the price.

What a lovely, quirky, cosy little place. A small establishment on the second floor of a quaint building, each room is unique. Doorman is a nice touch for security purposes. The staff is very helpful and can help you with whatever your needs. English is spoken and understood. Staff goes out of its way to assure your comfort and needs are met. Mini-fridge is convenient in each room. Location is near to most sites and also conveniently located to public transportation.

We stayed here for 2 nights. We arrived early but were able to leave our bags in the hotel. The owners Leo and Rosa made us feel welcome, such lovely people! They explained the metro system, how to get to places and helped with whatever queries we had. The room was clean and quiet, we had an exterior bathroom but it was for our use only. The hotel is situated in the posh part of Barcelona and it's a safe area. Many thanks for a great visit!

Lovely stay

Stayed over with friends. Really helpful and friendly host - she suggested good restaurants, events which we weren't aware off, among others. Rooms and the lobby/lounge area had a homey feeling to it. Location wise - not dead in the central (albeit quite close to it!) however it was really easy to get around (by foot, bus and fgc/metro). There were also a few good cafés in the area. Some noise from the bathroom but nothing disruptive. We enjoyed our stay.

A little home away from home

The staff couldn't have been more helpful in recommending dining venues and points of interest. We were given advice about being safe in the tourist areas and were able to purchase hop on hop off tickets right at the hotel which was very convenient. A light breakfast is available on request for a very reasonable price. The room we had was on the small side; but the bed was very comfortable. There was an elevator for getting luggage up to the floor the hotel was on and access controlled by an attendant or a locked gate for which you were given a key.
Our stay at the Petit Hotel was quite pleasant!

Great hotel with helpful staff

Even though the hotel was hard to find due to poor signage, I was pleasantly surprised with how helpful the staff were. They were so accommodating and helped us find a great tapas bar in Garcia. The best part of the hotel was that the staff spoke very good English and were just so nice and helpful. Would recommend to anyone.

I liked the Petit Hotel. I stayed for business and it was in a nice safe neighborhood and was quiet - if not a bit too quiet. I did feel like I was staying in someone else's apartment, but the staff was super friendly and really helpful. They also speak fluent English, which was really helpful to me.

My only complaint was that the lobby is dark and the keys can be hard to use on the doors at times. I'd stay here for business again but would prefer the luxuries of a full hotel if I was traveling for vacation.

Again, I can't stress how kind and nice the staff is. I never felt lost or alone in a foreign country, which is nice. I worked late and had meetings so didn't get a chance to enjoy the breakfast.

The hotel was clean and the bed was comfortable. I carry a lot of electronics and like to keep to myself so I turned down the daily cleaning service - but it's available if you need it.

I also loved that laundry is available on site, and the turnaround is just a few hours. There's also a phone in the lobby for placing international phone calls.

Fenster zum Häuserspalt

Große Enttäuschung, leider hatte unser Zimmer ein kleines Fenster zu einem Spalt zwischen zwei Häusern, in dem sich zu allem Überfluss auch noch Tauben eingenistet haben. Das eigene Badezimmer war leider durch die Rezeption zu erreichen. Keine Zahnputzbecher und nur ein Haken an der Wand für die Handtücher. Das Bad hatte leider keine Lüftung, sondern ebenfalls ein Fenster zum Häuserspalt. Personal sehr nett und alles recht sauber. Die vier Schlüssel, die man für den Aufenthalt benötigte waren etwas lästig, da man ja heute meistens mit einer Zahlen-Kombination auskommt.

Habitación horrible. Mobiliario viejo. Usado. Sucio. Sábanas con mancha. Es un hostal y estaba catalogado en la web como hotel. Destartalado y muy usado. Un precio muy alto para un establecimiento que no cumple con ningún tipo de parecido con un hotel. Cortinas sucias y malolientes.Solo estaba deseando de salir a la calle y olvidar la sensación de suciedad y viejo de esa pensión, u hostal no puedo catalogar el establecimiento de otra manera. Sin luces para leer en las mesillas pues faltaban enchufes. Horrible.

I thought it is hotel, because the name is \"Petti Hotel\". However, it was not a hotel, it was hostel. The room was so clean, but was so small. Also on the picture the restroom is with the room, but the restroom was separate that I should use a key for using it.

Rigtigt hyggeligt lille Hotel på 1’st sal i charmerende gammel ejendom med hyggelige værelser i forskellige størrelser.

位置沒有明顯旅店名牌，要細看按門鐘位才找到。專用廁所和浴室，分隔在住房外面。設施和一般小旅館相同。附近有V13巴士，方便到市中心。10分鐘可行到地铁站。很多超市，飲食方便。員工很友善，很願意給旅遊的資訊。

The staff at the hotel are very helpful and nice. The problem is that the walls are paper thin. The noise from the corridor, the people living above, and from the street are unberable. Is not just that you can hear the traffic really loud, but you can hear what the people who are passing by outside are talking about. The continous slamming of doors and talking in the corridor were really irritating as well. Our room was 1m away from the reception so we could hear every conversation from the reception. I had to take sleeping pills and use ear plugs to be able to get a few hours of sleep. This vacation was suppose to be relaxing so I could charge my batteries before heading back to work, but instead I ended up more tired than ever

Il y a 5 ou 6 chambres dont deux avec la salle de bain à l'extérieur de la chambre....Dont la mienne...

Das Petit Hotel liegt sehr zentral in einer guten Gegend von Barcelona, mit dem Bus, der gleich an der Ecke hält, kommt man schnell überall hin.
Man wird sehr nett empfangen, ist sehr hilfsbereit in allen Fragen und bekommt gute Tipps in Bezug auf Restaurants, Sehenswürdigkeiten usw.
Das Zimmer ist sauber, das Bett bequem mit einer guten hochwertigen Matratze.
Sollte ich nochmal nach Barcelona kommen, wäre das Petit Hotel wieder meine erste Wahl.
