Everything was very good, the staff were friendly and kind, the room was spotless and very comfortable with a great bed and a pillow choice. The location was excellent, and the breakfasts and other meals i had their little cafe were reasonably priced and very good , both Western and Thai cuisine

It was convenient for one day old town tour by walking. The staffs were friendly and helped me to print out urgent documents free of charge. The breakfast offered local food mixed with international tastes. It’s definitely a gem hotel in the old town of Chiang Mai. I am glad to choose the Premier Family room for 3 nights.

We really liked the big rooms. They had big windows so lots of light. It is located in a perfect area where you can walk to everything. The staff especially the first receptionist we met are super nice, very helpful. Our only complaint was our room floors did not appear to be cleaned. Other then that our stay here was perfect!

This is my second time at this hotel. I LOVE it so much that I talked my 5 froth stay here. I love the location. However, the property is very outdated. I had such great experience the first time and now so many things has changed. We each have 1 pillow per person in the bedroom and 2 person per room. When we asked for an extra pillow, they told us it will be 50 thb per pillow. We love the breakfast. We have 2 vegan pans 1 vegetables gluten free in our group. We told P’Da and she spoke to the chef and they help us with our needs for breakfast. Very accommodating and P’ Da is very sweet and kind. The TV was not working the entire time we were there because they have construction and they may have accidentally cut the cable or a line that have to do with the tv but that doesn’t bother us. We were not in our room majooof a time. Overall, we wish we each have 2 pillows.

This property was great. When you walk in it feels as of you left the city and walked into a paradise resort. There is a nice curved sidewalk with a deck bordering it. Then the reception desk is welcoming with a soft waterfall sound coming from the nice fish pond. After ck in there is a short walk through a perfectly designed landscape then you walk into a clean well layed out room. The staff was great and the property was very nice. I would recommend to my mother to stay here

great stay... all you could want

A really lovely place to stay, great room, comfortable bed, quiet and peaceful. Lovely pool, helpful staff. I really liked the entrance to reception.. tranquil water features with koi carp. My stay included breakfast which as usual in thailand includes lots of eggs that I am allergic to, so I didnt have much choice, but the toast was really good along with the choice of fresh fruit. this is great value for money especially as its in the centre of Chaing Mai old town so everything is easy to get to

Perfect location to stay for a great price

Great place to stay for traditional style Thai hotel. Check in was friendly and fast. Absolute beautiful reception area. Stayed on 3rd floor pool view room. Room was very clean, bed very comfortable, and extra pillows. Fridge and safe make the stay very convenient.
The area around hotel is the perfect location in the old city. Everything is a short walk away.
Free breakfast was amazing. 7 to 10 every morning. Complimentary bottles of water in room every day.

Worth the price and more.

The checkin was quick and easy. We were upgraded to supreme room due to a lot of construction. But I don’t know how much difference it made. Plus they initially gave me a room with two bed although we are a couple.
The hotel and rooms are aged but they kept Everything clean. It’s very good for the price I paid. The shower is not great spray quality but it worked. The water heater cord is short and table not placed near a plug so we had to adjust a bit. Really cannot complain for the price. The staff were kind and polite. Breaky was ok too.

The staff are the Best.
Communication throughout our multiple stays was always excellent and the staff throughout the hotel are eager to assist anyway they can to make your stay wonderful, which they do.

The hotel has a newer addition and and older section.

The older, and probably original hotel, needs updating badly.

When recommending Eurana to friends, I always mention for them to book into the newer building.

I get to Chiang Mai once each year. When there I always stay at the Eurana Boutique. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. My room is always comfortable and clean. I always feel as though I get good value for my money. I should mention Sand, Soda, Najee, Fern and Juti who have always been a big help to this solo traveler. Others on the staff as well I just cannot remember all the names. When I get to Chiang Mai again in 2020 one can be sure that I will book my room at the Eurana!!

This could be a great place to stay. The room was nice, the garden at reception is lovrly, the staff are friendly. The pool is great (althoughbyou cant use it til after 9am) and we had a nice view of the hils from the bench outside our room. Breakfast was fine too and the price was very reasonable. However, as soon as you arrive you are made to feel like a criminal. There’s a contract with two pages of rules to sign then you have to pay a 500 baht deposit for the room key. Once taken to the room you have to sign an inventory in case you damage or steal anything. If you break a rule, there’s a 500 baht fine. One of these is no hanging clothes (to dry?) in the room or outside the room. So where do you dry your wet swimwear from the pool? All the rules made me feel anzious and spoiled what could have been an ‘‘excellent’ stay.

The hotel decoration is nice. The location is good relatively in the city center. The hotel is located near the market, and can easily walk to Tha Phae Gate. I also took a car and parking was easy. Room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was quite good and was delicious. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I would love to stay here again, it is really good value for money.

A horrible beginning

I had booked a less expensive room usin Hotels.com. When I first arrived, the check in was good and the room was fine for what I paid. However, I had gone out that evening to meet friends and when I returned I discovered that there was a leak in the bathroom ceiling which I could only assume was from the bathroom above me as I was on the ground floor. I was not about to put up with that and I complained to the front desk. The did nothing to appease me except to offer me a worse room. I said that I would check out in the morning but Thai expected to be refunded the remaining nights that I had paid (4 more nights). I was told that, because I booked through Hotels.com, that a refund was not possible. I was very upset and it was late at night so I said I would deal with it in the morning and I slammed my door shut. About 30 minutes later, there was a knock on my door and it was a manager, she said that the had found a different room for me and upgraded me to a suite. It was a nice gesture and I appreciated it but I was still not pleased with the way the whole situation was handled to begin with. The rest of my stay was very nice and the staff were pleasant.

It’s a large complex so I’m sure there are much better rooms.
Small room. Mold on the bathroom walls. Shower drain barley drains leaving the entire bathroom floor flooded for hours. They did have a TV but it was a small tube jobber from the 90’s with a really fuzzy picture. It was cheap for American standards so there’s that.
Great locale, seems safe.

Position of the hotel was very convenient. Staff were pleasant and helpful with one exception (reluctance to order a taxi to airport- initially advised to go out in the street - with luggage and hail a taxi - at 6.30 a.m.!) Room was clean and good value for money. Manual override on the air-conditioning would have been good. The sound insulation with the next room, through a locked interconnecting door was very poor. The restaurant (rather than the separate breakfast room, which was fine) was disappointing and a dismal atmosphere I think this might just have been branded Eurana and run by separate people. I would stay again - it was good value for a city centre hotel.

Be aware that if you book a standard room, it isn't in the nice part of the hotel in all the pictures, it's in a different \"wing,\" at the back. I thought this wasn't clear from the booking process on Expedia. Not sure whose fault that is. My room was pretty dark and had a very very bad-smelling drain. Internet was good, however, and staff seemed nice, and the location is very good.

I booked a deluxe room and there were a lot of ants on the bed when I was about to sleep at 11:30PM.

The hotel staff took about an hour to move me to a different room (a superior room), where I was not able to get a good night's rest for the next day.

Management refused to respond, even though staff and I both took videos as evidence to show the manager.

It's an okay place but I'd make sure the bed doesn't have ants before sleeping, especially if you need to get up early the next day.

Hotel advertises airport transfers. We had no reply to 2 emails we sent asking for transfers. Ended up calling hotel when we arrived at airport, only to be told they don't do airport transfers!

2. There is no restaurant. There is a breakfast room and a snack bar nearby but the restaurant doesn't open. (Try Northlands cafe across the road though-it's superb and great value!)

3. Bathroom is mouldy and thick cobwebs hanging from the ceiling.

4. Toilet making noise all through the night due to poor plumbing.

5. They made us pay 300Bht for a 'stain' on a bath towel which would wash out. When I objected, they immediately picked up the phone and said they'll call the police. My wife and I were absolutely disgusted by this. The towels they did give us were threadbare and tatty. Clearly just scamming us.

6. Tip - don't get hotel to book your taxi for you as a 150Bht trip becomes 200 and they make you pay the hotel, not the driver - go figure.

7. When we arrived, the room next door looked like it had been broken into/kicked in. I showed this to the staff who just laughed. Is security an issue?

I can also echo previous comments about bugs at breakfast. The hotel responded to say they would be keeping the door shut and air con on. They don't do any such thing and there were dead bugs in the milk jug plus an army of ants around the sugar when we were there.

The hotel has the potential of being a really nice hotel but our experience seriously let them down.

The part of the hotel with the standard rooms is very run down and needs repairs. The shower heads are not functioning properly. The water in the sink did not run down. Tiles were not clean. Some employees at the reception desk were unfriendly. When requesting assistance to get a taxi, a driver with extremely exaggerated fees was provided.

This hotel had a lot of European and Chinese tourists, not so much backbackers. The hotel grounds are beautiful, but the rooms are Betty dated but clean. Good to sleep in all. The staff was ok. There's plenty of bars, cafes and delicious night food stalls right around the corner (I highly recommend the stall with the pork dumpling soup!) I wouldn't advise the standard rooms, be sure to upgrade to the Superior room. Standard rooms are at the ground level floor and was woken up every morning by heavy stomping above, very loud. The pool is great and looked clean. The continental breakfast left something to be desired. But c'mon, you're in an amazing city with great food, don't waste precious real estate on a poor American breakfast. Chiang Mai has the most affordable and delicious food I've had on Thailand, go explore.

The first room they gave us was absolutely disgusting. There was mold in the shower and on the walls. We also found bugs all around the room. In addition to that, everything was old and outdated. My girlfriend and i refused to stay in there. The second room they gave us was slightly better. We stayed the night becuause there was no refund and moved to a new hotel the next day. I highly recommend you do not stay there. This is my fourth time being to asia and this is the worst place i have ever stayed.

We really enjoyed our stay . Our room was clean. We could walk easily to everything we needed. Safe and friendly area. The breakfast was adequate . Everything we needed to start our day .

Nice hotel. Close to shopping markets.

Stayed here twice during Thailand visit. 1st room did not have hot water for shower but second room did. Staff very accommodating. Convenient location for several activities and food choices.

The pictures online are beautiful They're all of the newer part of the hotel. I booked several rooms for myself and clients with the condition we'd be in the new section. I requested that because I'd read a review on TripAdvisor alerting me of the discrepancy between the old and new rooms. So I actually called the hotel to verify this - 2 times, because I was bringing clients. After being promised all new rooms, I arrived to learn we'd been given all old rooms. The manager was not responsive. The old rooms are very run down. My clients experienced broken shower parts, dirty sheets, a broken toilet seat, dirty carpet, droopy curtains, plus other misc. aging hotel qualities. Be aware if you book with this hotel, that the photos only represent part of the property.

Convenient location, underwhelming hotel

I booked a standard room that was gross and the toilet didn't work. I had prepaid for 5 nights so they upgraded me because they didn't have another standard room, thank goodness. The junior suite was spacious and nicer but still dirty and I'm sure not worth the price. Breakfast was pretty bad.

Not a 3 star but maybe 2 star hotel

Staff was nice but didn't speak english much.... upgraded from standard room to superior room BUT needed to NOT flush toilet paper but rather place TP into garbage can next to toilet.YUCK!
Well, at least the garbage can had a foot operated lid...
Shower stall old and dirty, bedding sheets not pure white but what do you expect for $31 night? You can do better for the price if you spend the time to search - I relied on the pics of the hotel. I wouldn't stay here again

Perfect that its near to many local restaurants. Staff in the hotel were all very nice too. However, the breakfast, wifi and room suck. Breakfasts have got very limited options and they were all the same during my stay which consisted of five nights. Wifi was even slower than my data and could not really load videos. Room was a little bit dirty because ants were all over the place. But generally, the hotel is still good because its really convenient to eat around. Just that I wouldnt come again.

Great place to stay in the center of ChangMai

Great little hotel that gave us a room upgrade since we stayed for a week.
Nice pool and very close to a 711 for buying late night drinks.
There are tuk tuks and cabs outside the front door every morning ready to take you anywhere.

All the tour drivers know where the hotel is and will pick you up out front, not at the rear parking area.

Horrendous

Good reception by staff but room was filthy and it was not updated since the late 1970s! The tube tv with poor reception and the filthy bathroom with the mold covered shower was absolutely appalling! Glad we only stayed one night but never again!

Digusting. That's the only word to discribe it.

I am leaving my first review for my trip to Southeast Asia. I haven't even completed my period of stay at this hotel, but I moved out after the first night to a luxury resort to repair the damages that this hotel has done to me. For $50 per night, I was given a standard room. The bathroom walls had mildew growing in all crevices and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in ages. The bed sheets looked stained from years of abuse. Then came the dozens of mosquito bites I encountered throughout the night. I ran out of toilet paper and needed to use the bathroom. They never brought it so I had to steal one from the housekeeping cart. They suggested that it was my fault that I should've said something instead of moving on to another hotel. OK, if one room was in bad condition, I can assume the other rooms were not any different. The only thing I ate from the free breakfast was two pieces of pineapple. The hot dogs were suspended in warm liquid, and the butter was in a pool of melted ice...not appetizing. When I took a cab out of the hotel to the next one, I told the driver what happened and he said he wasn't surprised. This hotel used to be a nice one, and maybe after years of business, they stopped trying to impress anyone.
