This is a wonderful place. A few times I’ve been here. They upgraded me upon check in, a welcome drink, very friendly and helpful people. Room was lovely, great balcony, view, beach and sea literally minutes away. Bar drinks are very generous measures. Such a great vibe hotel. Would highly recommend. The pillows and beds are the most comfortable I’ve slept in. For many islands and places that I’ve visited in Greece. Well done Erato for making this yet another memorable experience.

This is a lovely place. We had a room with a terrace overlooking the water . Quick walk through the beautiful garden and you are on the beach . Complimentary fresh breakfast with a very accommodating and friendly staff. They will set up your transfers and also guide you for all the things you can experience on the island. Great bar to grab a cocktail or a coffee Restaurants all along the beach and a grocery near by. Family friendly as well . Highly recommend.

We truly enjoyed our stay in the lovely Erato hotel Mykonos. The atmosphere therewas really amazing and welcoming, and the staff made us feel at home. They are very nice and friendly. Also we came little bit early before chcek in and they did not have problem to accomodating us. Room was clean and breakfast was delicious with various obtions. Thank you for making our vacation even more beautiful thanks to our stay at the Erato Hotel.

Overall everything excellent. Very convenient to the beach, markets and public transportation,
Should I visit Mykonos again. Definitely will book with them. Super friendly!
The only bad things is because hotel is so closed to the beach you can hear the music till 2-3AM.
Otherwise everything is A+!

Erato is a beautiful property, it’s quiet and away from the noise of the city center, but accessible by taxi or bus. The windmills were very close by. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The range for all our transportation. The breakfast buffet was amazing. Overall, our day was very comfortable and safe and fun.

The place itself was beautiful and I truly loved the stay — but the transportation experience was a nightmare I’ll never forget. The driver was aggressive from the start, and it escalated to the point where he actually threatened to kill me! All because his directions weren't taking me to where I told him to go. I do not know this country so therefore when I say where I need to go, the transportation should know here to go! I was terrified and felt completely unsafe, trapped in a situation no guest should ever be in. It’s horrifying to think that what should have been a wonderful trip turned into something so traumatic because of the transportation. The stay was amazing, but the safety issue was beyond unacceptable.

Extremely small rooms and highly unprofessional management. The rooms are so tiny you can’t even open more than two pieces of luggage at once. When you leave for the day, they turn off the AC, causing the room to develop a damp, unpleasant smell from humidity and condensation.
The front desk staff are dishonest about everything—from making coffee to the actual duration of the airport transfer. While we were out, the manager (who claimed to be the owner) entered our room without permission and moved all our belongings—including clothes, a purse, and other personal items—into the lobby.
This place is a complete disaster. Stay here only if you’re looking for a real-life challenge, not a vacation.

Gorgeous and Refreshing Hotel

What a gorgeous place with kind welcoming hosts. The garden (and balconies) are steps away from the beach. Start your day with a full Greek breakfast and enjoy the beach. There are plenty of restaurants and two grocery stores nearby to ensure you are well fed. Mykonos’ shops are an easy bus ride away (and the stop is a few hundred feet from the hotel).

We had an amazing time at this great location steps away from Ornos beach, great restaurants and city center. Very well
Located. Staff is super courteous and always approaching while at the breakfast area or bar to offer anything or just to say hello! Hotel is very clean, great air conditioning system in rooms, very well decorated with class and Greek style. You will feel like being at home. Breakfast was delicious and had a variety of delicious cheeses, hams, eggs, breads, and all.

I can’t say enough about this quaint hotel. Perfect location and just a few steps away to Ornos Beach with restaurants to choose from looking at the sea. Room 32 that we stay in has a fabulous view from the balcony with very clean rooms. Each morning we went and enjoyed a delicious breakfast on the veranda. The owners and staff were very helpful and so friendly. The bus stop to take you into the city of Mykonos is a two minute walk and a short ride. I can’t wait to come back again. Thank you. Amazingly quaint hotel with truly great hosts.

What an amazing, quiet and surreal hotel that feels more like an B&B than anything else. We stayed there with our daughter and it was perfect. Steps to the beach and multiple restaurants, 5 min walk to the bus taking us to town. Staff is very friendly, great breakfast in the morning, and relaxing spots to sit next to the garden. Could not have asked for a better spot to enjoy Mykonos away from the busy crowd. Thank you for an amazing stay.

What an incredible little oasis away from the craziness of Mykonos city.

If you are looking to be in the middle of it all.. then perhaps this is not the right place for you. But if you are looking for a quiet beach in the evening, gorgeous waters and impeccable service then this is the BEST!!

Maria, at the front desk has the kindest, warmest energy. She will explain the island to you, give you great recommendations and answer any of your questions with an authentic smile. It feels like you are in a 5-star hotel without the price.

When first encountering the hotel off of the road, you do not realize the beauty that lies on the other side. Just steps away from the beach, the hotel has a gorgeous garden and sitting area where you can relax with a cocktail or just simply rest and enjoy. Their rooms are amazing and they have the most delicious breakfast, with a variety of authentic dishes.

It is also steps away from delicious beachfront restaurants, where you do not need to make a reservation and can simply enjoy a quiet dinner with great music.

Beware the Mykonos transportation is very expensive, but they have a bus from the center of town that stops right in front of the hotel. Be sure to check their website for the correct stop, so that you don’t have to trek with your luggage.

I recommend this hotel to all who want a gorgeous beach, friendly service and to leave feeling refreshed and relaxed.

the smell in the room is the smell of very old staff. the sea view is a small piece of the sea and the view was the hotel standing right in front our window. even when it's clean in the territory of the hotel it's terrible when you go out a few steps from it. there is trash and empty bottles everywhere. the food is ok, nothing special. we stayed at another hotel at the same beach so we had things that we can compare with. did not enjoy

Beautiful property, can see the ocean from it. Daily breakfast is great. Less than 2 minute walk to the beach and to the bus stop, only 15 minutes by bus to the town centre. The staff are really helpful to plan things to do depending on weather and helped us organize a car for a good price. 24 hour reception makes you feel safe. Highly recommend.

Maria and her staff were some of the most gracious, lovely people we have ever encountered at a hotel. Erato Mykonos feels like a lovely home to retreat to after a long day of exploring, beach days, Mykonos town, and more. The beds are amazingly comfortable. The daily breakfast is so fresh and delicious with choices for everyone and a wide selection of items. They play lovely, peaceful music in the lobby and during breakfast. All staff are so eager to help you with anything needed. The view from our balcony of the beach and mountains was just beautiful. I cannot say enough about Erato Hotel Mykonos! It is the very best location and steps from Ornos beach. We don't like to stay near the party crowds and loud discos of Mykonos Town, so we chose this location on purpose and it was a great decision. We were enchanted by this lovely, little property. Most flights on your day of departure leave well after check-out of 11am. You can leave your bags and enjoy the beach if you would like. There are even places to shower before your flight and after check out if needed. Mykonos bakery and other wonderful, traditional Greek restaurants are in walking distance. The bus stop is located literally at the end of the street of the hotel. Super convenient for going to Mykonos Town for 1.80 Euros. Keep in mind that there are only 32 taxis on Mykonos so this is the best option and so affordable. Save your money for shopping and dining and take the bus! Lovely hotel. We highly recommend!!

We love Maria! She is such a warming and welcoming person. She gave us so many recommendations and we enjoyed them all! She helped guide us with the windy weather to what we were hoping to do in Mykonos. Hotel Erato’s staff members are so sweet and accommodating! I’d recommend this hotel to anyone. It’s in such a perfect area and the hotel path takes you right onto Ornos beach with many restaurant options and plenty sunbeds to rent from! There’s a bus stop that will take you into town and to several beaches through another bus. I must admit Maria and her staff made Mykonos the best for us besides all the wonderful recommendations she gave us. We hope you enjoy this place as much as we did!

From the moment I arrived, the Erato Hotel staff were really friendly and accommodating. They provided great information about transportation and restaurants around the area. The location of the hotel is perfect; it is a short walk to Ornos Beach (1 min walk), and to the bus stop where it can take you to Mykonos town (10 min drive) where all the main shopping and restaurants are located. You can also take a water taxi from Ornos beach to the other beaches around the island! The breakfast that was included every morning was amazing and the rooms were really spacious. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone who is staying in Mykonos.

Cannot recommend this place enough. The service was top notch and the location can’t be beat. It’s right next to the beach, but set back enough that it’s still quiet. We saw a lot of people being shuttled in or walking long distances to the beach and were so thankful to be so close. The breakfast on the terrace is wonderful. The staff and owner helped us book anything we needed, including a scooter delivered right to the property and our transfer to the airport. We arrived quite early for check in and we’re able to leave our bags at the desk since, have some breakfast, and walk right to the beach to spend the day. Do not hesitate to book this spot.

I loved the location, very laid back and away from the party crown in town. Very difficult to access a taxi, but,the bus is convenient (steps from property) and only about a 17 min ride.

From the moment we arrived at the island and the hotel, it was amazingly beautiful.
The photographs are exact!
Our room had the most fabulous patio; a place I enjoyed sunbathing, relaxing and reading. The room was outstanding- serviced everyday with beds made to fresh towels!
The hotel patios over looking well established gardens, the sea and surrounding Ornos. Breakfast was served here; a scrumptious delight from coffee, fresh juice, meats, cheese, olives, cheese pie, eggs and much more. My favourite was actually little pots of cinnamon rice pudding, Greek yoghurt, musli and honey and delicate little pastries on my plate!!! It was eat as much as you can whilst enjoying those paradise views!!
The beach was at the end of the garden and down 3 old steps. We enjoyed swimming each day.
The restaurant’s and tavernas were along the beach and road at the end of the beach. The furthest we walked to eat was 15 minutes.
There is a well stocked super market 15 minutes walk.
For my husband, 18 year old son and me; we came to Ornos for 1 week to chill after a very busy few months at work and college! to relax, eat, drink and swim.
I arrived with a back injury, so we took no excursions, we did take the bus to Mykonos town, cheap and 15 minutes away!
The harbour in Mykonos, the windmills, narrow streets were just breath taking.
We had thee most fantastic week!! Maria and her staff were so helpful and inviting!

The location was absolutely amazing! This was my first time visiting Mykonos and I was torn between staying in Mykonos Town or Ornos. I’m so happy I decided to stay at Erato! Steps away from the beach but still only a few mins bus ride to other places around the island. The staff was phenomenal, they booked excursions for us and even set up a massage at a nearby spa. The whole building is beautiful, the room was spacious and tastefully decorated. Great views! YSteps from the beach and from the bus stop - bus takes you to the old city in ~20 minutes. Breakfast was delicious, good for all styles. Last, Staff was great! Maria was very kind and helpful at all times. She always offers to arrange transportation for you upon arrival to Mykonos. Go ahead and let her do it for you. Transportation in Mykonos is hard to find!

This is a charming looking hotel with a great location. It's a short walk to the beach where there are lots of restaurants. The water is very clean for swimming. The hotel is quiet because it's far away enough from the noise on beach. Our room has a kitchen although we did not use it. A few restaurants on the beach got great seafood. Downtown Mykonos is about 10-minutes drive. There is a bus although I would rather pay 10 euros to take a cab. (The walk from hotel to the bus stop is too stressful due to no pedestrian path.)

The hotel has a beautiful setting, blue and white house with red flowers in the garden. The superstar was the cute house cat! Breakfast is delicious. The hotel staffs are warm, personal and very helpful. Many thanks to Mary, Maria, Annie and others for making our stay so nice. Love to go back again!

Hotel Erato is lovely. It's very close to the beach and all amenities, but away from the crowds and the noise. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The wifi is the best of any hotel we've stayed in. The bus stop into Mykonos Town is only 100 yards away from the hotel.. Breakfast is delicious, especially the yogurt with fruits in syrup! Highly recommended - we didn't want to come home!

THE place to stay.

Absolutely wonderful. You are only like 75 walking steps on level ground to a beautiful clear water cove with a number of open air drink/ restaurants, You will not regret staying here if your fortunate enough to get a reservation. You will need to rent a car or take a taxi to town, it’s long distance walk. The rooms are large, bed very comfortable, AC was cold, and balconies overlooking the cove. The owner and staff are so eager to please.

Wow! Is about all I can say after spending three nights here at this extremely well kept property only 72 walking steps, on level ground, to a beautiful beach in a cove with multiple restaurants, where boats anchor in the clearest water you can imagine. The rooms are very large with balconies facing out to the water, they are quiet and best of all the air conditioning gets as cold as you want it. The outside terrace, also facing the water and hills beyond is wonderful, and their large garden area is really nice to walk around and see the different plants, very well kept. They serve a very nice breakfast to enjoy either inside or out on the terrace, and good coffee. The very best part is the most incredible service I can ever recall, Maria, the daughter who runs the hotel, is absolutely awesome. I remember reading other people's reviews about her and thought ok how good can one person be, but OMG, she is amazing. Sooo sweet, genuine, speaks five languages, wow!. And her staff is top notch, you will love the friendliness and kindness of this hotel. It has two floors, don't recall elevators, my room was on the second floor, outside steps, but were very easy climb because of the shallow incline. This property is owned by one of the pioneering families of Mykonos, 25% of the island is related to them, and the surrounding area has been in their family for over a 1,000 years, Spoke to Maria's father one night, such a kind gentlemen, who shared the information. HEAVENLY!

Heavenly is the best way to describe this LOVELY place. Maria, the owner, is charming and lovely, and does everything she can to make her guests feel welcome, not only at her charming hotel, but in Mykonos in general. The hotel is a few steps from the beach, and that is perfect—one feels as though they have privacy and can get away from the crowds and have a beautiful sanctuary, yet you can almost reach out and touch the water from your balcony. Maria’s stunning, simple, yet elegant décor is pleasing and relaxing.
We visited several other places on Mykonos, and hands down would not even consider staying at any other hotel that Erato!

Maria (the owner) hospitality is unbeatable. She knows the island very well, the hotel is very welcoming and very cute and boutique. Once you check in she helps you with knowledge of the town and places to see, eat and sigh see. She really wants to make sure you have the most fun possible. The location is excellent on ornos beach a lot of nice restaurants not to far away. You will not be disappointed.
