Great location

The location is excellent because everything is reachable within walking distance. The apartment has just the minimum to spend some days there (only soap apart from toilet paper, sheets and towels, and in the kitchen only utensils but not oil or paper). It has not much natural light and can be a bit noisy in the room that goes to the street but in general it is very good in relation price-quality.

Great location to central Rome. We were able to walk to almost all sites in central Rome with the exception of the Vatican. Luggage storage was available when we arrived early. Room was just as described and clean when we were able to check-in. Mini-fridge, microwave, and stove met our needs for the week. Shower and bathroom were fine although a bit awkward since they did not connect and were across the hall from each other and we were travelling with teens. TV was small and it would have been nice to have in the bedroom instead of the kitchen area but since there were so few English speaking channels, we didn't mind too much. WiFi worked great. Beds and sheets were good, including the Murphy Bed, although the blanket bedding felt a bit old and black-out curtains would have been nice. Only complaint was we were unable to get our laundry done during our stay - we tried twice and there was a big disconnect with the maid who did not speak English. She neglected to pick up my clearly labeled laundry bag on a Saturday morning (during published laundry hours) and then refused to take it on a Sunday. Overall the stay was pleasant and the gated entry to the building did provide a good sense of security for the area. Many cafes, shopping, and sites nearby. I would recommend this apartment to others!

This buget priced apartment is well located in Rome to sights, transportation and shopping. It is no frills and the amenities are limited, but it worked well for my family of 4. I would suggest a softer mattress for both beds, but otherwise it was great!

No contact info after 9pm meant stuck outside room

On the first night that I was staying here with my wife and 3 kids, we by accident left the set of keys in the room. The room auto-locked behind us. We tried every possible means to contact anyone related to Residence Europa, including hotels.com messages, calling hotels.com, and calling all available numbers at Residence Europa. We also asked others who were staying at the hotel and there was no way to contact anyone related to Residence Europa after 9pm. So me, my wife, and my 3 young kids (all age 8 or younger) had nowhere to stay in Rome! Luckily, after an extensive search, we eventually found another hotel around 11pm that night (that was small and expensive but much better than sleeping on the street). We ended up getting back into our room the following morning by finding the cleaning person.

Residence Europa staff never apologized and never responded to any of my several messages. When we requested a refund for the first night (through Hotels.com, as we never received any response from Residence Europa), Residence Europa declined. Overall, it was the worst experience we have ever had with a hotel.

Given the above, I would adamantly discourage anyone from staying at Residence Europa.

The apartment is in an excellent location and is very spacious with a great little kitchenette. The only negative to the stay was the a/c didn’t work properly and the tv was a bit small and had bad reception. Overall I would recommend staying there.

Location near train station and major attractions was good, but The room was right down the street from the police station, so noise from sirens (when window was open) was nearly constant. Murphy bed was not very comfortable. Overall the building was kind of grungy (like most of Rome).

This was a fine place for us to stay. It is close to the Termini, where we arrived and departed Rome. It is a short block off the Via Nazionale. There is a COOP grocery within two blocks. The Forum, the Colosseum, the Campidoglio, Trevi, the Palazzo Barberini, and the Pantheon among other sights were within 20 minutes walking distance, though the streets and pedestrian walkways are roughly paved. There were lots of good places to eat nearby.
The property is modern and well designed. The staff is friendly and helpful. Laundry service is free, though we tipped the maid for doing it.
Our apartment was six flights up; thankfully, there was a small elevator for getting to it.
Rome is a city of steps and hills.

Very well located apartment situated in an old building. It's well equipped. Foul smell in the bathroom on the first day which subsided with use of shower. The shower itself was just ok. I found the bed a little hard for my liking but husband and kids were fine with them. Be aware that bedding is blankets - which I personally don't like. Coffee shop across the road did a lovely coffee and there is a decent supermarket around the corner and across the road on via National.

A large appartment (for Europe) with everything you need a 10 minute easy walk from the train station and also a short walk to the Coloseum and Forum. It has a lift. Supermarkets and restaurants/cafes close. It was also quiet at night and private. The bathroom was large but the separate shower door (not transparent) opens direct onto a small hall between living and bedroom. As it was just the two of us this didn’t worry us.

Great location, stayed twice at same place. Close to all the sights and also metro. Gelato shops stones throw away, good places to eat nearby. Highly recommended. Rooms are clean and modern. Lots of wardrobe space with a safe. Useful to have a small kitchen, to prepare light meals. Lift available and needed with all the walking around sightseeing. Daniele was really helpful & friendly. Definitely go back to the same place again.

The apartment is clean, quite spacious and air conditioned. We didn’t use the kitchenette, but could see it was equipped with basic cookware and dinnerware. The bed & sofa bed were comfortable, although the pillows were too soft.

Our apartment was on the 4th floor, facing the road. There wasn’t much of a view but it was quiet at night.

The only thing to bear in mind: The reception is not open all day long, so you need to ring the maid to keep your luggage. The lift is also very small, so someone with huge suitcases might struggle.

It is a comfortable walk to almost all tourist attractions - 15 min stroll to the Trevi fountain & Colosseum. We went with my elderly parents & even they were able to walk everywhere.
The Roma Termini station is a 15 min walk walk away, neartest metro is 5 minutes and bus stops about 2mins away.
We found some really nice restaurants in the area, most of which were reasonably priced.

Highly recommended.

Reasonable place at excellent location

It was a nice stay and it was easy to visit most of the key sites in Rome by walking (a bit), but be aware it is not a great hotel or something like that. It is a bit of a mess and the fact that staff is mostly not there is not helpful. I would still recommend it since it is very practical.

Great place in a great location.

We stayed at residence europa to be close to all the sites we wanted to see. The Pantheon, Colosseum, Forum, and others are all within walking distance, and the metro is just a short walk away and will take you to vatican city and other areas. So the location is great. The staff is extremely friendly and eager to be helpful. The room itself is comfortable with a nice little kitchenette with pans, plates, and silverware. There is a great coffee shop/restaurant just outside where you can get a cheap but quite good latte in the morning as well. The only downside was our room was in a bit of a wifi dead-zone, and we were only able to get internet right by the entrance to our room. This was not much of a problem, as there was a little breakfast table there and we were able to send emails and such without issue. Overall a very nice place with a wonderful staff in an absolutely great location.

Clean, spacious and modern apartment

This apartment met all our needs, including airconditioning in sweltering July. The beds were large and comfortable, the kitchenette was great for making meals and loads of space for a family of 4. A supermarket and heaps of shopping is just across the main road, a very safe neighbourhoood, not too far from the Termini Station ( we took taxi for 15 euros as we had lots of luggage but otherwise could walk in 15min). We really appreciated the free laundry service available. Would highly recommend.

Just Fantastic!

Four night stay in Rome with the kids. Hotel couldn't have been better placed, the oldest Pizza House in Rome is 2 doors away, there is a great restaurant next door and all the facilities you may need within 2 minutes walk. All the main sites are in easy walking distance, as is the the main station, and we took our time one day to walk back from the Vatican and take in parts of the city that we just stumbled upon.

The hotel is really a collection of small but (much) more than adequate apartments (the kids said they could happily have lived in it) in a building that is brimming with character. The staff are really helpful (they saved a family crisis when favourite teddy was left behind - they have found her and are now arranging to send her home to us).

I have nothing bad to say about the hotel or the area it is in. my only complaint is the British Government's ridiculous laws (and affront to civil liberties) on taking children out of school - they learn more in a few days in Rome than they do in a term at school.

Excellent base for exploring Rome.

Tucked away down a small side street off a busy main road, this apartment is perfectly situated for exploring Rome. The Coliseum is a 20 minute walk, Vatican City a 35 minute walk and Termini station just a 15 minute walk. Everything else falls within those journeys. The apartment is very modern and contemporary and was perfect for us as a family (two adults and two children, aged 12 and 14). It was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The only view was out of the bedroom window but that really didn't matter as we were only there for sleeping - there's too much to see and do in Rome to spend time indoors! Although we couldn't check in until 2pm, we were able to leave our luggage safely so that we could start exploring. I'd recommend this apartment to anyone.

Residence Europa will either be a great experience or a frustrating one, depending on how you go into it. First, and key, is that this is not a hotel – do not expect 24x7 support. Second, it is an apartment within a larger (older) grouping of apartments, and you are subjected to all that is associated with this – such as little hot water, lower water pressure, and lack of insulation (think sound) between the walls. And thirdly, whereas internet is typically standard and of good quality, you may be forced to sit near the door of the apartment to get a good WiFi connection.

Now, there are some real upsides as well; it is located in nearly the perfect part of town for all the attractions and it is close enough to the metro/train to get outside Rome or to the Vatican if you choose. There are plenty of grocery stores, restaurants, and other shopping options to keep you stocked up/family busy. The room was clean, plenty of room for a family (separate bedroom, isolated kitchen, and a murphy bed/couch in the living room), and felt good for our extended stay.

In summary, if you do not mind the downsides, it is a nice place to stay for a large family/extended stay in Rome.

Bonus free WiFi & laundry service.

Only let down was there was construction work in main stairwell of the condominium but I guess it had to be down.

Quiet hotel in convenient location

This hotel is in a good enough location to visit ancient Rome by foot. The hotel is quiet to sleep at night and good for family. We enjoyed staying here with a son and had simple snacks in room as there were a small fridge and a kettle too. It was hard to find the hotel entrance and not very impressive at first but the rooms are good.

Great Aparthotel for family that wants to cook!

stayed in this Aparthotel for 5 nights and all of us enjoyed! My 4 year old daughter do not want to go home anymore. Surprised that even dishwashing soap scrub is available unlike the last time I booked for a Aparthotel. Reception is very accomodating. Taught me how to get to the places we went.Overall if ever I come back to Rome I will definitely book for this one again. It is located around the city center.

overall nice place, bit quirky tho....

the place would be a straight 5 except for that quirky ancient elevator and the master bedroom bed. bed was hard as a rock and killed our backs after 2 nites, so swapped to the softer living room hid a bed. Watch out for the main bed corners, 2 weeks on scratches from very sharp corners just healed. Super location and easy to find from train station Roma Termini. All the staff were great. 22 inch tv was qute. I'd stay there again.

Ideal for family

We came for 5 days with a 8 month old + a 7 year old. The apartment was perfect and the staff very friendly even if could hardly speak english. I called upfront and got a baby bed. We all had our own beds. We could have our breakfast and diner in the flat to respect our kids rythm and keep the trip cost lower. Location is perfect, close by to grocery store, metro and sightseeings. We can buy the Roma Pass close by which is also very convenient. There is a taxi station less than 100 m away.

Europa - great location, friendly staff!

We loved this place. Four of us stayed here and it suited us perfectly! It was clean and the room seemed newly renovated.

As North Americans we appreciated how whimsical the building was and thought the tiny elevator was hilarious. If the elevator is out of order there are a lot of stairs though!

The man who works at the front desk was so helpful! Our airline lost our bag and he even called the airline to help us several times!

Very pleased with the apartment would definitely book it again in the future . Was in a great location and most attractions were in walking distance the only place which was too far to walk to was the VATICAN .
Very clean , tidy and spacious and was well worth the cost , our only faults was that we had no kettle so used a saucepan to boil water .website says we get a direct dial phone but NO phone and also says CITY VIEW , we could only see another tower block but we hardly stayed in the room so these didn't really matter .
The reception guy and the cleaner were very friendly and helpful .

Also helpful is a supermarket , taxi and bus stop within a 2 minute walk .
Overall very pleased .

the staff is friendly they hold your bags for you. breakfast is not included but the room has a kitchen. internet works great supermarket a quick walk thru the tunnel easy to get to termini and many other sites outside looks old but inside is brand new the 1940 elevator is half the experience be sure you shut all 3 doors. i would definitely stay there again.and the pizza est est est at the end of the street is good and cheap

A hidden gem

Went to Rome with parents for mums 60th.
This apartment is great for location and perfect for self catering.
Only a 15 mins walk away to major attractions e.g Trevi fountain.. Colosseum
A taxi ride to any attraction will cost you no more than 10 euros which is fab for older travellers or if you ge tired.. Taxi rank is 1 min from apartment.
Supermarket is 1 mins away too and you can get most things from there at reasonable prices.
The apartment isltself is an old building but the apartment have been recently refurbished and are super clean, modern with good facilities.
My only little moan is no kettle provided so heating up water in a pan can take a while on the electric hob. Also the lift is old and small (but very clean) so needs to be operated properly e.g. Shut doors otherwise you'll find yourself walking down or up some heavy duty flight of stairs as apartments are based on 4th floor!
Apart from that I would definitely recommend the apartment. The service from reception staff is outstanding. Friendly and helpful. We were able to leave our luggage after we had checked out. The Wifi is free and works fine. The area is great for shopping with small boutiques alon the main road. There is a lovely little restaurant/Cafe right below apartment and it's reasonably priced with average food.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and would definitely recommend to families or larger groups.. Even for couples this is a great option as you have location, space, cooking facilities, modern facilities (wifi and air conditioning) and you can walk everywhere safely and ifs quiet at night for a decent night sleep.
You can get to the Vatican by cab for less than 10 euros!!!! It's a great place!

Dejlig lejlighed med rigtig god beliggenhed tæt på alt og meget venligt personale. Til morgenmad kan du hente friske croissants mv. i restauranten i nabobygningen. Dog lugtede det dårligt fra afløbene, hvilket trækker ned i oplevelsen. Der var også lidt trafikstøj, men det er nok svært at undgå i centrum

El departamento esta muy bien ubicado y es muy cómodo. Sólo que nos tocó el departamento de l lado de la recepción. La entrada al departamento es una puerta esmerilada de vidrio, por lo que le quita mucha privacidad que este tan pegada a la recepción, incluso un día, estábamos almorzando y otro huesped nos abrió la puerta del departamento, que evidentemente habiamos trabado mal. Fuera de ese detalle todo lo demás muy bien.

Die Lage zum Zentrum und den Sehenswürdigkeiten ist toll, haben Rom zu Fuß erkundet! Das Apartment ist leider nicht so toll wie auf den Bildern! Das Bad ist so-la-la, die Dusche ebenfalls, die Küche weißt Mängel auf, alles in allem einfach nur ok! Nicht mehr, aber auch nicht weniger!

Er werd op onregelmatig tijden schoon gemaakt, dus ook de handdoeken werden niet tot nauwelijks verschoond. Bij de receptie konden wij echter wel wc papier en schone handdoeken krijgen. Service/ bestek was maar in beperkte mate aanwezig. Wij vonden het bed hard. Wij hebben het raam 's nachts wel dicht gehouden ivm het geluid.
Verder een prima kamer dicht bij het centrum. Voldoende privacy. Keurige ontvangst bij de receptie.

Außergewöhnlich höfliche und hilfreiche Angestellte. Das Apartment ist nett eingerichtet. Es wird nicht jeden Tag aufgeräumt aber das war für uns kein Problem. Man erreicht die meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß. In der Umgebung gibt es viele gute Restaurants und nette Bars. Von uns 👍👍👍

O apartamento é bonito e espaçoso,mas precisa de mais utensílios para hospedes que precisam cozinhar no local. Boa localização: perto das grandes atrações de Roma como Coliseu, Fontana de Trevi, Piazza Venezia e outros. Dá pra fazer muita coisa a pé. Vaticano, Castelo Sant’Angelo já ficam longe. Melhor usar metro na estação República ou Termini (10-15 min a pé). Tem elevador no prédio. Recepcionistas simpáticos e eficientes. Apto grande que comporta 4 pessoas (até um pouco mais). Na mesma rua tem lugares para breakfast e bons restaurantes. Há uma pizzaria no final da rua (uns 50 m) recomendado que é frequentado por locais. Infelizmente não pudemos ir porque no dia disponivel para nós estava fechado (fecha segunda). Voltaríamos a ficar no Residence Europa.

4월에 3인가족이 머물렀는데 처음에 입구찾기가 힘들었지만 주방이 갖춰진 곳이라 밥해먹어가며 여행하기 좋았습니다. 리프트도 있고 아래 레스토랑과 주변에 가게 건너편에는 수퍼가 있어서 편했고, 시내관광하는데 좋았습니다. 이틀에 한번정도 청소를 해주셨고, 의외로 주방용품도 잘 구비되어 있었습니다. 단지 인터넷이 방에선 잘 안되고 거실(주방쪽)로 나와야 잘 연결된다는 점이 아쉬웠습니다.

Overall very good!!!

All places of interest can be reached by feet. The rooms are clean and the staff is very friendly.
Our fist room was perfect (Nr. 54). The last 3 days we had to change our room. The second room (I guess it was Nr. 43) was good as well except one thing. The window in the bedroom is (somewhat) damaged. That’s why we didn’t sleep as good as in the first room.

Acces par ascenseur. À 15 min de la gare termini et à 10 min du Colisee. Appartement spacieux. Nombreux rangements. Donne sur une cour intérieure donc au calme. Salle de bain moderne, bien aménagée. Cuisine sans fenetre rendant les repas peu agréables. Éclairage type administration ( manque de convivialité ).

직원이 낮에만 있어 그부분은 좀 불편했지만 나머지는 다 만족. 아.. 수건을 3일에 한번 바꿔주는건 좀 바꾸는게 낫지 않을까.. 적어도 이틀에 한번 정도로?

L'hôtel est très bien situé. Proche des principaux sites et du métro si besoin. Un supermarché se trouve juste à côté. Le personnel est agréable et attentif. Petit bémol sur la vaisselle qui est limitée en quantité. Super appartement très calme. Je le recommande!

Séjour en famille de 4 jours pendant les fêtes de Noël.
Appart hotel refait à neuf, déco moderne. Bon accueil à la réception. De plus l'hotel est très bien placé au centre de Rome. Touts les sites touristiques sont accessibles à pieds et proche de la gare de Termini. A savoir, réception fermée les jours fériés et ménage (+ changement draps et serviettes) tous les 3 jours.

Super appartement hôtel au coeur de Rome.

Très bon séjour. Grand deux pièces, bcp d'espace. Très bien situé permettant de visiter l'ensemble du coeur de Rome à pieds, et à moins de dix minutes à pieds du métro permettant de visiter le Vatican.
parfait pour visiter Rome à moindre frais. Je le conseille fortement.

Nous sommes aller a Rome avec mes amis, afin d y passer un long weekend. La residence europa est un appartement spacieux, propre et bien situé (nous avons pu quasiement faire tout le séjour à pieds). Le service est agréable et serviable. Nous avons été dans l ensemble satisfaits.

Wi fi pésimo. Te dan la habitación y arreglate solo. No hay canales de tv en inglés , ni español, o no los encontramos. No hay a quién preguntarle por la tarde-noche. El día del check out no nos guardaron el equipaje por ser Domingo. No hay personal los Domingos, salvo la mucama. Conclusión : perdimos una hora y media yendo a Termini y haciendo la fila para dejar el equipaje en custodia. Y otra media hora para retirarlo. Y pagando por ello.

Bon rapport qualité/prix. Installations neuves dans un immeuble très ancien.
Rue très bruyante si fenêtres ouvertes. Seul bémol :le manque d'étagères, de patères, etc... Impossible de poser les affaires, notamment dans la salle de bain. Par contre, grande armoire et ceintres en nombre suffisant. Coffre fort dans la chambre. Personnel serviable, à l'écoute, et gentil.
Hôtel idéalement situé à l'angle de la \"Via Nazionale\", une des avenues les plus importantes de Rome avec le passage de nombreuses lignes de bus et très commerçante, et aussi à proximité de la gare routière de Termini où se croisent les deux lignes de métro de la ville.
Dommage aussi que le ménage ne passe que tous les trois jours. Ca devrait être fait en fonction de la durée du séjour. Nous avons séjourné quatre nuits du mardi au vendredi (départ samedi). Nous aurions apprécié que le ménage passe le jeudi, après deux nuits. Mais non, il n'a été fait que dans la journée de vendredi alors que nous n'avions plus qu'une nuit à passer sur place. Par contre, dès le jeudi, nous manquions de papier toilette, les serviettes sentaient car elles ne séchaient pas...
Cette visite à Rome fut un plaisir et la Résidence Europa y a fortement contribué. Merci à toute l'équipe.

Ótima localização! Todos as principais atrações podem ser visitadas a pé. O estabelecimento oferece tudo o que anuncia e a atenção dada pelo Giuseppe na recepção é espetacular! Há um supermercado próximo (Despar) e vários tipos de restaurantes. Voltaria ao Residence Europa tranquilamente e indicaria o hotel sem maiores preocupações.

très bien situé, à 10 minutes à pied du Colisée et des principaux monuments Romain, l'hôtel est dans une petite rue calme près d'une avenue ou l'on trouve de belles boutiques et des restaurants de toutes sortes. le métro n'est pas loin non plus. à noter, la kitchenette est un vrai atout.

Rom ist schon gut. Und mit dieser Unterkunft ist es gleich noch besser. Liegt wirklich zentral. Ist aber auch schön ruhig im Hinterhof gelegen.
