Amazing sea views

The ocean view room is beautifully and the view each morning is amazing. We had a family room, but the second room is to the back and you have no window, you can't move around the bed, so you need to crawl on to the bed.
The owners were amazing and prepared our rooms early as we had a really early flight onto the island, there were so accommodating.
It did state there was a pool but there is no pool so i don't understand how that works.. you can use the pool in a beach club up the road but there is a minimum spend of 500 baht per person, so i don't think that counts as having a pool. But i will say again if you want an amazing Seaview this is the place to stay.

Excellent location, friendly staff, Eco room was very small without a window (but it was what I booked) so not hotels fault and we were unable to move rooms as hotel was full. Would not recommend eco room for more than one night.. the other rooms were beautiful & spacious and would stay here again and recommend this hotel, very clean.

The location is nice near to the good restaurants, stores, etc. But the beach is not good at all.
The hotel is quite simple more indicated for who doesn’t want to spend too much money.
The good point is the kind and efficient staff.

I really enjoyed my stay here. We arrived just before 7pm when the staff were due to leave, and they were still really warm and welcoming. We booked the eco twin room. It was compact but clean most importantly. We had free water, shower gel and shampoo, and towels to use. The room also had a tv which was appreciated as we don’t normally have one staying in cheaper accommodation. We used the laundry service which was really reasonably priced too, and our clothes came back glowing. Great location in the fisherman’s village, and you walk down the steps out the back and you’re on the beach. We had an excursion one day, and when the receptionist noticed we’d been waiting a while she rang the tour company for us. It was ever so kind as she really didn’t have to, but of course we were grateful. All staff were really friendly whenever we saw them. Brilliant stay, I would come back!

Great/Decent location, good markets, decent beach (pebble/sand) hotel staff very nice and helpful!!!! Unfortunately room compared to other hotels at the same price or cheaper did not stack up, bed was uncomfortable, room was small, dirty, air conditioning didnt work properly and the room was very noisy.
Staff were great but I wouldn't stay there again.

Great location

Hotel was very nice and superb location. Only downside was a couple arguing at 4am for 2 hours so we couldn’t sleep, and as the reception is not 24 hours we couldn’t do much about it.

This hotel is in a good location for the fisherman’s market (only runs on Fridays) but the beach is not very nice. The water is murky and the sand is not great. We had an issue upon check in with our room being dirty and we were upgraded to the hill side room. This room was nice, clean and spacious. Overall would recommend the hotel but not the location

The beach view room was very nice. Right on the beach with a little balcony and great views. The staff was friendly and the location is great. It is right on the edge of the dining/shopping area in Fisherman's Village. Lots of dining options but not too noisy.

Nice hotel, poor training

Before checking in, I called to arrange our pick up, the front desk agent was rude and unhelpful . When we got to the hotel the same rude lady was there. She told us They’ve been over booked so they upgraded our room. Which was very nice of them but it looked like she was unhappy to do so. After we checked in the bell man was excellent, he stored our bags and showed us everything at the hotel. Helped us to plan our day and made sure we had a great breakfast. Later on we found out we have A LOT of ants above the headboard. We called them but no one ever came to check it.
As we checked out, the same lady was at the desk. There was a problem with the charges and we had made her aware of Them and requested she adjust the charge. We informed her that we had little time as we had a ride waiting for us. I gave her my credit card and it seemed as she had made the adjustment. She then proceeded to overcharge my credit card without saying anything. I requested to speak with the manager and no one came. It was quite rude, it was a small amount but she had Handled the situation extremely poorly. We went to the managers office (after they called him and he didn’t come). He immediately said “this is your vacation, I don’t want you to be upset and deal with it”, he took 200THB from his own wallet and gave it to me. We felt better leaving as he had handled the situation well. The hotel is beautiful, it’s a shame that the service from the front desk staff was poor.

Beautiful beach view!!

This hotel is in a prime location, situated on bo phut beach. There is lots of restaurants and shopping near by. Would recommend the sea view room, it is absolutely stunning. Definitely the most expensive place we stayed in south east Asia but if you are willing to pay it won't disappoint. Staff and reception was very helpful and friendly!

3 nights at riviera beach

Hotel was fine, tidy and clean , best views were at the back of the hotel as they overlooked the sea , we were on the front so overlooked the main road, bean bags were great to relax on the beach, and was nice to be able to have a tea or coffee free up till about 11 in the morning, good location with plenty going on, would return here again

Great value for the eco room!

Really pleased with the hotel for the price we paid. Our eco room was small, but very clean. The giant beanbags to take onto the beach are a great idea also. We had problems with a trip booking we had made one morning and the reception staff could not be more helpful! Only slight disappointment was that there was not a TV in our room as described on hotels.com. We have been travelling for around 3months at this point and as Bophut is expensive, for us having a television to spend an hour or two of an evening watching is a welcome home comfort and something a little less costly than sitting and having drinks. Therefore we were a little disappointed when we discovered this was not part of our room - not the hotels fault, but something to be aware of when you book through hotels.com

It's a boutique hotel.

When it's branded as a boutique hotel, I'll expect it to be compact, not small. Everything in its place. Modern decor, clean, comfortable and beautiful. Minimalist. This hotel fits most of the criteria of a boutique hotel.

One of the most important thing is customer service, and Riviera Bay Hotel has it too. Nat, the person managing the front desk, manages it very well. Speaks good English. Constantly asking if I need help. If everything is ok. She got me a plug adapter and an extension, even an umbrella when I needed one. It was the scorching sun and I did not ave a cap.

The room is tiny, but kept very clean and just nice for a lone traveler. The room has 2 single beds placed side by side pushed to the side of the wall. There is not much room left to place your luggage. The window is only in the bathroom but bright enough to give the room some light. It's the simplicity of the room that made it feels cozy. The aircond and water heater are working in tip top condition.

For another THB700, you can get the room with a balcony looking out to sea. But I thought my little room is good enough for the price I paid and I liked it.

Another best part of it is its location. It's located on the side of Bophut which is quieter. It's on the street where all the restaurants and activities happen everyday. But just 100 meter away from all the noise, so made it the quieter side.

I'll definitely stay here again. And Bophut to me is a better place to stay compared to Chaweng.

Nice quiet location, central to Fishermans Village

A nice, basic place in a quiet location, right on the beach. The beach is not particularly great here, and there are no loungers available, only large bean bags. There is no restaurant, but the hotel is centrally located in the Fisherman's Village, very close to plenty of bars and eating places.

Wifi signal was very good. The aircon struggled a bit to cool what is a large room. Large balcony overlooking the ocean.

Good location but mediocre Bed and Breakfast

Interesting bed and breakfast, all accommodation is on 1st,2nd or 3rd floor with no lifts or ramps in sight. I think this needs to be clearer on the booking as we had in total 80kgs of luggage and hand luggage to get up to the third floor. No in room hotel services and information booklet that we would of found helpful. The lady on reception on check in was very brief but helpful covering all basics. As soon as we checked in with help from the reception staff member the reception closed. Later we had a problem with the key not locking the room door as it wasn't explained that you lock from the inside then pull shut. We went down to reception where there was a sign saying along the lines of \"closed but knock on 203 + 204 for help\". So we knocked on the door and got no answer from either room.

Convenient, clean, nice staff

I stayed at the Riviera Beach Hotel for 2 nights. Very nice staff. Room was the tiniest room they had so they offered an upgrade for 400 baht per night which I declined. The room was very clean though and shower had its own area. Beach is right out back. Location is perfect; miles of shopping and restaurants.

Perfekt läge vid havet

Mysigt litet hotell som ligger 2 meter från havet. Perfekt ställe att stanna på för några dagar med ett flertal bra caféer och restauranger precis utanför hotellet. Bra service med, med snabb in-och utcheckning!

Flot, rent værelse. Dog ingen gulvplads overhovedet udover sengen og badeværelset. De gav i receptionen udtryk for at de havde åbent fra 08-20 hver dag. Alle dage vi overnattede på stedet lukkede receptionen uventet før 19. Dårlig service, når man ikke kan regne med personalets hjælp.
Flot lokation og ellers meget søde mennesker.

Her må man holde tunga rett i munnen når du bestiller rom?De hadde to typer rom 1 : lite kott , der det var en halv meter mellom seng og vegg , det var kun mulighet for å sette kofferter , kun ett lite vindu i badet og det var rett over til nabo huset , en meter unna . Det andre romtypen de har er stort og med en stor balkong, med havutsikt eller utsikt rett i gata . Vil ikke anbefale å bo der hele ferien ,men ett par tre netter er greit i det største rommet .

Kleines gemütliches Hotel mit direktem Zugang zum Strand. Die \"eco\" Zimmer reichen für eine Person da es zum Beispiel keinen Kleiderschrank gibt, wird der Platz sehr schnell, sehr eng durch den Koffer. Die Zimmer mit Meerblick sind sehr zu empfehlen. Dort gibt es mehr als genug Platz und der Ausblick ist wunderschön.
Das Personal war total freundlich und jederzeit Hilfsbereit. Zu Fuß kann man vom Hotel aus etliche Restaurants, Supermärkte und Klamottenläden innerhalb von 5 Minuten erreichen. Der Strand von Bophut war (im Dezember) leider nicht sehr sauber und schön. Man kann jedoch bei vielen Bars oder auch im Hotel Liegen mieten. Für einen günstigen Urlaub in Samui würde ich das Hotel sehr empfehlen.

Riviera beach hotel

Hotelli hyvällä sijainnilla Fishermans Villagessa jossa paljon tasokkaita ravintoloita. Iltaelämä tällä alueella kuitenkin hyvin rauhallista. Itse hotellissa ei mitään ravintolapalveluita saatavilla ja vastaanotto auki miten sattuu. Hotelli sijaitsee rannalla mutta rannan siistiminen ja viihtyisäksi laittaminen ei myöskään ole heidän prioriteettilistalla kovinkaan korkealla. Minun huone ei ollut merinäköalalla joka oli todella pieni eikä matkatavaroille ollut minkäänlaista mahdollisuutta purkaa laukusta. Kylpyhuone oli ihan ok ja Wi-Fi toimi hyvin. Henkilökunta ystävällistä kun heidän kanssaan asioi. Kaikenkaikkiaan jäi kuitenkin käynnistä fiilis low season, low attitude. Ei kolmen tähden hotelli.

nous avons séjourné 2 fois une nuit à 1 semaine d'intervalle en escale ,avant de rejoindre soit Kho Phangan,soit Bangkok; heureusement que la gérante de l'hôtel nous a proposé une chambre plus grande que celle que l'on avait réservée via internet, car les moins chères sont vraiment trop petites.

チェックイン時の応対が大変良かったです。

フロント不在時間があるので、深夜、誤って部屋をロックをしてしまった場合はどうするのか、心配な点はあります。

Seaview roomはとても解放感があり、おすすめです。

Fantastisk udsigt og balkon. Værelset er fuldstændig som på billederne. Badeværelset er meget mørkt og der er kun et lille spejl.
Det er et meget lille hotel og receptionen er kun åbent til kl.20.00.

Rommet var veldig uprakist med alt for stor seng som man nesten ikke kom rundt. Trappetrinnene for høye så det var vonde å gå i det var ingen steder å henge fra seg ting. Hånklestangen var ødelagt . Dusjen var slik at den dusjet toaletter.

鍵がスタック！

受付が8時から19時までと限られていて緊急対応に困りました。
チェックイン時間が夜になってしまい1人でチェックイン。
翌日鍵をかけてday trip に行こうとしたら鍵がスタックして抜けなくなりました。
隣のホテルに助けをもとめに行ったりとストレスな滞在となりました。
個人経営的なホテルに泊まるのはリスクがあると思いました。

Fint hotel nära stranden

Super trevlig personal och område. Vi hyrde en moppe via hotellet för 250 bath för 24h och åkte runt hela ön. Nära till stranden och resturanger och barer. Hotellet hjälpte till med resa till olika öar också samt bus och båt resa till phuket. Wifi är bra. Gratis vatten uppskattas
